Unprofessional.
Cat
lost
a
leg
due
to
bad
examination
and
treatment.
In
2016
cat
of
my
partner
fell
from
a
2nd
floor.
Doctor
diagnosed
that
2
legs
(front
and
back)
were
broken.
He
made
an
x-ray,
identified
multiple
fractures
and
was
decided
to
place
fixation
mechanism
on
both
legs.
Partner
did
his
best
in
preventing
cat
from
moving,
especially
jumping
and
doing
anything
that
would
hurt
him.
Cat
was
taking
painkillers
the
whole
treatment.
I
cannot
recreate
now
the
whole
sequence
of
actions,
but
seing
that
situation
was
only
getting
worse,
was
advised
to
amputate
front
leg...
And
it
was
done.
In
2017
i
moved
in
and
admitted
that
every
time
when
cat
jumped
or
walked
his
joints/bones
were
making
a
very
bad
sound.
Combined
with
limping
it
made
a
bad
impression.
We
went
to
the
doctor
to
discuss
my
concerns.
He
did
a
general
check
and
simply
adviced
to
feed
him
a
bit
differently.
Unsatisfied
we
went
to
another
clinic,
where
we
did
another
x-ray
and
more
detailed
examination.
It
revealed
that
the
cat
had
3
legs
broken
from
the
every
begging
(both
front
and
1
back)
and
it
cancelled
all
efforts
done
from
the
beginning
with
a
fixating
mechanism.
As
it
wasn't
identified
earlier,
and
fractured
bones
were
very
small,
fragile
and
already
deformated,
we
couldn't
do
anything
at
this
stage...
Poor
creature
was
suffering
whole
this
time
from
unbelievable
pain,
his
right
leg
was
amputated
and
he
had
to
step
on
completely
broken
another
leg!
We
contacted
prothésiste
and
other
clinics
to
see
what
could
be
done,
but
it
was
too
late...
My
partner
trusted
this
doctor
and
followed
his
advice.
It
was
a
mistake
with
a
high
price.
Please,
think
twice!..
Adequate
examination
from
the
beginning
is
very
important..
