    Very happy about the car & good service. Very unhappy about the false claim they have lodged for damages that certainly did not occur during the rental period. The fact that no report on the condition of the car was provided either at pick-up or at drop-off is in itself suspect. One generally relies on the honesty & correctness of car rental companies. Be very careful to take photos upon pick-up & demand a report at pick-up & drop-off when dealing with this company

    I had made a reservation online and Sixt knew my arrival flight number. My flight was delayed by one hour, so by the time I arrived to the Sixt counter in the airport and then their office at the rental parking lot, they had closed and there was no one to be found. Their emergency phone number was not answering. Their app supposedly offered a keyless system to get/open your rented car, but that was not working either. There was no WiFi either; luckily my data plan was working. I left multiple feedback messages and questions on their app and website and am still waiting for an answer (over a week ago). They charged my credit card for a service they did not provide. My overall impression: they just want your money and are not very interested in providing the service. Never again would I use them.

    I do not recommend to anyone this company, on both times that I received the car's the fuel tanks were not completely full, and then they do not make a refund of the fuel in order to leave it full. Finally do not rent with this company, in case of any problem you always will be answer by different people worldwide and nobody realy wan't to sort out your issue!

    Never again! I'm used to rent cars from different service providers but never experienced cheating and scam like this, and did not expect such from a known label. The extra fee of more than 100 EUR surprisingly appears in the final invoice though was not specified in the rental agreement.

    Very disappointed with their service. Be careful, if you rent a car from them, really inspect it and take photos, because they always try to find a fault in the car and then ask you for money to repair the car. You hand the car in, the staff say it's fine, they give you your money back, and a month later you get a report saying you have to pay for the repair. Be careful if you rent a car in company sixt, you may prefer to go to another rental company. I wish you a good day and all the best.

    Paid extra for zero excess insurance (but not tire cover); handed back the car - four days later got an email saying there is damage to a tire - trying to claim it was us who did it. No tire pressure loss was registered on the dash and we handed the keys back to the staff at the airport who could have checked the vehicle - but didn’t and now trying to claim for damage several days after return of the vehicle. I’ve used Sixt in other locations dozens of times, and it is a shame that the one at Brussels Airport is making me consider never using Sixt again

    Mini EV, lovely car, great fun but charging was the most stressful experience I have encountered. Unless you subscribe to EV charge companies and have hours to waste, stick with Petrol/Diesel.

    As a regular Sixt customer at this branch, it has recently become obvious that service quality has really deteriorated. During the last 2 rentals, the car I booked was not available and was told that I had to pay extra for the category above. It was only through persistence that I avoided these charges, the bait and switch tactic is not only illegal it is honestly an insult for a regular customer to have to undergo the same ordeal time after time. The upselling is rife at this branch, I have countless other examples of their use different tactics to draw more money out of the rental. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to Sixt at Brussels airport.

    Pickup at the airport was easy - great service at desk and when getting car from lot. Return no issues, super helpful staff when my son accidentally left his cell phone in the back seat on return.

    Telephone of Brussels airport outlet is always busy and they do not reply to emails. I was charged for an extra day due to 20 minutes delay to return the car and all because there was no signage in the car spaces area to show where their offices are located. Very disappointed.

    I rented car for my husband when he traveled international to Europe but there was an emergency back home, he used the rental car for three days but he needed to return home ASAP, so he returned the car but they refused to refund the rest of the day.. Bad business practices knowing that they are going to rent the car to someone else for the remaining rental days. Professional thieves! I will make sure my family and friends know this, so that they cannot be robbed of their hard earned money in this pandemic where lives are never the same.

    The staff at the airport office was very friendly and competent, a big step above the standard customer service. The vehicle was also above expectations resulting in a great overal experience and ofcourse an easy recommendation. Well done!

    Our past experience with Sixt on Brussels Airport was horrible and WE FELT DISCRIMINATED FOR OUR COUNTRY ORIGIN. We had a prepayed reservation for a car rental, but whenever we tried to pickup the car first it turned out that the main driver was blocked… we called the customer service to solve this issue and they did, but in the front desk of this branch a Lady called SEVI treated so despicable. She didn’t want to attend us so she turned out with a version that because we were Mexican she can’t rent us a car even we got the internacional driving license. She told us that she was going to ask the free cancelation for us so we can rent in another company (which we did, and was super quickly and our nationally wasn’t a problem at all) but she didn’t. Such a bad experience, I can’t imagine this things happen on a company so big as Sixt is supposed to be.

    Terrible expérience. To avoid! Reserved a 5 seater car with space for 2 suitcases in the boot. Given a tiny 4 seater with no trunk space and we were told, despite having the reservation confirmation by email, that we would have to pay extra for a larger car (which we had already reserved and paid for). Had problems with the car the first night, called the service number on the keys who were not able to assist us. After waiting till way past midnight with no assistance from customer service, we had to UBER over an hour to our destination and back the next day to meet a repairman. Customer service appalling. Finally told us the service number is in the emailed contract and the one on the car key was their old service company (somehow that was supposed to be obvious to us late at night with a problematic car).... 2 Ubers costed a fortune and the whole experience fighting with sixt ruined our vacation. Rented from Budget - MUCH nicer staff and had no problems at all. I regret not renting from Budget for a few extra bucks from the start... Do not use Sixt at Brussels Airport.

    On this occasion we had a very bad experience and we believe it was due to discrimination on the part of the manager Sevi, because we are Mexicans! There was a small problem due to a fine for administration expenses (which I never received) and my account was blocked, we called to unblock it, they did it and still she said that she couldn't give us the car because it was still blocked, we waited around 3 hours We called several times and then she began to make more excuses for not renting us the car, she even told us that she couldn't even give us the car with an international driver's license because according to her they would not accept it! We wasted time and money and she told us: go to another company, because here we can't rent your car, terrible attitude from that racist person!

    Great experience with Sixt, very easy process, and every thing done digitally . I have rented BMW 4 series gran coupe and was very new less than 3000 km, very clean and excellent condition plus super navigation system. Thank Sixt for this great experience .

    OUR SON CAME TODAY 24 JULY 2021 AT AROUND 16H WHO RENTED A CAR ONLINE  TO UR OFFICE IN ZAVENTEM HE IS LIVING ABROAD AND HAD AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE AS REQUEST BY OUR BELGIUM COMMUNITY OVERSEAS. NOT ONLY HE LOST HIS ONLINE AMOUNT BUT U DID NOT ACCEPT HIS INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE THEREFORE. WE AS PARENTS ALWAYS USE SIXT BUT HAVE A BELGIUM DRIVING LICENSE AND VERY HAPPY, 1/WHY U COULD NOT TELL HIM WHEN BOOKING ONLINE OR MENTION IT? 2/PLEASE REFUND THE MONEY DUE TO MISCOMMUNICATION FROM UR SIDE?     The car was beautiful and the navigation system was essential in easily finding our way around Belgium. Our vehicle was the exact model we reserved and spacious enough for our multiple passengers and luggage. The staff were helpful and professional. I have rented cars from SixT many times in the US and now in Belgium. I will definitely rent from them again and our highly recommend them to others.

    Friendly staff and good service. Our reserved car was not available so a larger one was arranged. As we prepared to depart, the vehicle type we had reserved just arrived. We asked to switch and they quickly revised the contract, offering coffee as we waited. Upon return, the outside rep told us how to buy local bus tickets and where to wait. The final invoice/return was received within an hour. A great experience.

    I rent cars all the time so it never occurred to me to give them any reviews but this particular branch has great customer service I will never forget. My biggest gratitude to L Peter at the front desk/office in the arrivals area who was the kindest car rental agent I have ever encountered and Ali at the car return section (who went above and beyond to help me with my credit card and gas issues). I’m surprised and impressed at the same time. Transactions were smooth and both customer service representatives made sure I feel taken care of. That’s a difficult feeling to come by from a car rental agency. Only downside it, it’s difficult to find the GPS route to the car return parking lot. It doesn’t show up so I had to go round and round until I saw the car return signs.

    The rental experience was excellent, and the staff in the car pick up area were very friendly and helpful. Sixt has a range of high end and new cars with low mileage. Overall, we have been quite satisfied for many years that we have rented from Sixt.

    10/10 great service staff! Have to specially mention Madam Graziana & Monsieur L. Peters for serving me during the start of the rental period had a slight dispute with the car, but gave me a free upgrade to a larger saloon! The return was hassle free as I known where and what scratches was made during the course of the rental and everything was amazing!

    I hired a car, but was late when collecting it. The man said it was an extra €65 to collect after 11PM. I was not happy and tough it was a ploy to get more money, he explained that it was because someone has to be paid to stay after hours. He was very friendly and gave me an amazing free upgrade. I had booked the cheapest car, and was given a brand new SUV. I got my full deposit back, (it takes a few days to come through). I would recommend.l

    1) When Returned Vehicle gas tank was more than 90% full yet I was charged $65 for fuel. 2) Returned Car 28 hours early and received a credit of $3.71 ( cost per day was about $60) You do the math..

    The service in its entirety was exceptional from picking up the vehicle to dropping off. All the staffs that dealt with me in the process were professionals in carrying out their duty. The vehicle was also new, clean and well taking care of. Above all the availability of staffs, their competency and friendliness in serving me was next to known.

    This is a company which has hidden costs. Be very carefull what you sign for. I was upgraded on insurance that I did not request and the price did not appear on the screen when I signed for pick up. When I asked to file a complaint I was told yes by phone and a week after nothing appears in the system. Be aware, otherwise you will pay a lot extra.

    Employees were nice. Cars are looking good BUT we had a car with an awful smell of cigarettes and perfume. The experience was disgusting and we had to leave the windows all the time while driving. I didn’t enjoy driving this car. I didn’t have the time to return the car and swapped it for a real clean one (short trip in Belgium). I wouldn’t recommend Sixt due to the lack of cleanliness (smell) of the car. Disappointing experience.

    I have used Sixt at Brussels airport before and find it one of the quicker and more efficient branches. The staff are always helpful, quick and accurate with booking and paperwork, easy to get to the cars as well as they are only a few minutes walk away. I would recommend them highly

    I cant believe how very helpful and kind the service was, at a moment wheni needed it, heading for a funeral. The price was gentle too. The car was very comfortable and 5 door, easy to navigate, and solid on the road. I think Sixt are simply the best. i do have experience with a range of car rental firms in Brussels btw.

    :) Amazing team, assistant Amine was 5stars! 6 actually!! Car citroen was great and super new. Fair price. Romain was very friendly too (drop off). :( billing took almost a month and I sent an email that was never replied to.
