Oh my goodness, where to start with the praise. Lynn has created an extraordinary environment with attention to all details. A fabulous homemade breakfast, a remarkably comfortable bed, delicious cupcakes at the end of the day, easy resources making our stay in Brugge a 5 star experience. Seriously, there is no room for improvement for the able bodied (the stairs are steep). Book here; you will be glad you did!!

Of all of the Bed & Breakfasts I have stayed in over my years of travel, this is by far the best one. The host, Lynn, is a wonderfully kind and thoughtful person with impeccable tastes. She was there for our arrival and ready to help us with everything we needed during our visit. We stayed in the DeKelk Rooms for two nights and wished it could have been for more. The spaces were clean, comfortable quiet, spacious, and so well decorated without being cluttered. For once the photos online accurately reflect the B &B, unlike the surprises we have faced in other establishments, and are a great value for the price. Lynn offered an amazing breakfast with hot dishes to order as well as homemade pastries and never ending coffee service. The meal is available in her immaculate breakfast nook next to her kitchen or outside on the canal view peaceful deck. A wonderful way to begin the day. If/when I return to Bruges, we will stay again at Huis Koning without hesitation and I will recommend it to everyone. I cannot say enough positive things to describe this delightful lodging. Travel tip: 2 nights in Bruges is not adequate to experience this charming city!

Fantastic B & B a short walk from the centre of Bruges in a quiet canal side location. Lynn is a wonderful hostess and breakfasts are legendary. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

I can’t imagine visiting Belgium and not staying at Huis Koning in Bruges. Lynn was an absolutely amazing host and makes the best sugar waffles, among many other treats! The room and amenities are better than 5 stars. I wish we could have stayed longer. Truly can’t recommend enough!

Huis Koning has to be one of the best B & B's in Europe, fully deserving the top rating it has achieved in the past. Clean, spacious in all the rooms, quite and everything you would expect in a five star establishment. Complimentary pastries everyday in your room, breakfast as you want it cooked as you like and everything fresh. Close to the centre of Brugge you can walk to everything in 10 minutes. I have no hesitation in recommending Huis Koning to all who want a quality stay in Brugge. As an added bonus, it is not as expensive as many others in the area.

Wonderful location and absolutely top quality accomodation. Lynn runs it superbly and she is a wonderful host, living close by. She and her Husband add a warm touch to everything. We will be back again for sure

My partner Ben and I arrived in Brugge and had our original hotel cancel on the day of check-in. We found B&B Huis Koning last minute and what a special find it was. Lynn has a natural touch to make every moment of her customers stay a perfect one. We were greeted with a drink of our choice on arrival, she sat down and shared a tourist book and drawn on map of the city to make our site seeing adventures smooth, recommendations for restaurants and places to go, took our bags up for us and were even greeted with a sweet treat in our room every day. She couldn’t do enough for us, she even took the time to wrap a gift for us as we were unprepared when visiting family later that day! Her breakfasts in the morning are also something else, everything is home made by Lynn herself, everything right down to the bread and jams. The smell of her baking travels through the hotel, who doesn’t love the smell of fresh bread in the morning! We honestly can not complain, Lynn’s hospitality, cleanliness and attention to detail truly made our trip to Brugge so special. We will 100% be rebooking with Lynn very soon! Truly beautiful bed and breakfast in the heart of Bruges. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast is a true highlight. Lynn and Peter, the owners, are wonderful hosts. Have stayed here three times and couldn't recommend it enough. Five stars!

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and quite simply, this is one the best places we have ever stayed in from all of our various world travels. The place is charming, extremely well decorated and has an amazing host in Lynn. Hospitality at it's finest - a warm and friendly welcome. Beautifully detailed and appointed bedrooms, a peaceful private terrace on one of the canals and a breakfast that is sumptuous and delcious. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights here. Lynn is the most incredible, attentive, caring host who is an excellent and passionate cook. The breakfast’s she made fresh each day for us were truely amazing. Staying with her was a lovely experience in so many ways, the wonderful abundant food, beautiful building/accommodation, the peaceful garden setting on the canal, the close location to the main square. The accommodation and location is perfect in every way as is Lynn. Lynn goes above and beyond. We did not want to leave and we would love to return one day for her pampering. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here! It really is wonderful. She has considered every detail.

This was one of my most favorite stays ever. Lynn is lovely and the experience could not have been better. She has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible - the rooms are pristine, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was phenomenal and thoughtful touches like milk for coffee and homemade chocolate mousse in our room really put this over the top. We will be back.

My partner and I spent 3 nights here at the beginning of September. It was absolutely wonderful! The location is very handy, a short and pretty walk from the centre. The bed & breakfast itself is beautiful. The access to the rooms is very private, you don’t get the feeling you’re walking into someone’s house. The dining room and kitchen is set in the back of the house, very cosy and welcoming. But the star common room in this establishment, is the terrasse. Small and quaint, along a green and quiet small canal, it’s very romantic and a beautiful way to start the day. The breakfast is incredible! Almost all homemade, it includes breads, croissants, sweet viennoiseries, jams, cheeses, cold cuts and pâté, eggs, fruit salad, granola and tea or coffee. We were lucky enough to have fair weather and got to enjoy this every morning. Our room was very comfortable, the bed was firm enough and great for our backs. Each room has a private bathroom. Ours was a very high standard, marbled tops, bath and rain shower. What made it all extra special were the little attentions. Every day we were treated to little treats in our room, like homemade chocolate mousse and apple cakes. I can’t fault this establishment in any way. The hard work and attention to detail is astonishing. I’m sure your stay here will be just as wonderful no matter what time of year you reserve.

It's terrific in every way. The host is genuinely friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful place, great location too. Breakfast was very healthy and almost everything was homemade. We'll come back again.

Faultless. This might be a B&B but it offers a 5 star luxury service. From the moment we were welcomed in with a drink and an introduction to Bruges we couldn’t have felt more cosseted or looked after. This is hospitality at its absolute best. Of course the location and the amenities and the canal side terrace are great - but it is the host’s attention to detail and dedicated hard work and service which makes this place truly unforgettable. 5 stars without doubt.

Amazing Location, great Host with lots of lovely bakery, tipps for the city and great service. The breakfast is fantastic and there are only a few rooms, so everything is very private and intimate, instead of hotel or regular B&B atmosphere. Total recommendation, will come again! :)

The absolute best hospitality experience of our lives. We visited Bruges for our honeymoon and stayed for 5 nights at the Huis Koning in early December 21'. + Lynn welcomed us with wine, beer and waffles. + She lent us a map and guide to the city and suggested restaurants we could visit. All of the restaurants she recommended were unique and excellent for their price. + Every day she cleaned the room and left us a homemade treat. + The heating was on throughout the day. + Excellent water pressure and luxury body care products inside the bathroom. + Ironing board in the hallway. + Room with a canal side view. + Breakfast fit for kings. Handmade breads, waffles and croissants. Freshly made omelette and squeezed orange juice. Various kinds of cheeses and cold cuts. Milk and cereals. Bowls of cut fruit. I don't know if I'm forgetting anything. + In the breakfast area, there was a blackboard which she would update with value for money activities which you could participate in around the city. Lynn didn't just offer us a comfortable stay. Thanks to all the love she has poured into this B&B, she became an integral part of our memories. Every time we remember our honeymoon in Bruges, we also remember Lynn.
