It is a private property. The streets around are also private etc. Me and my wife left the car in the town and went there by foot, cause there were signs, in flemish, apparently, forbidden cars. It was like 2km walking. The gates were all open, the signs were in flemish. About 70 meters near the castle, the owner appeared and rudely expulsed us. Bad option trying to visit this cattle.

Closed most of year. A pain to get to, look elsewhere

Castle is private property. If you don't respect that, you can run into issues. Plan your visit on the website, it's not expensive. Stunning and unique castle with surrounding land.

The castle looks nice, but you need to go across the river in order to see it.

Castle is not wheelchair friendly... My son has can not go... ruined birthday.

Well hidden castle in a great nature trail - castle only visitable by appointment - lots of free walking opportunities all around in this very quiet and green castle grounds

Well preserved castle in a beautiful domain. Do keep in mind that without a scheduled tour the castle's only open to the public on the 15th of August and the last 2 Sundays of August/first 2 Sundays of September.

It's really amazing You can visit there just Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday At 2 pm
