    PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! Do not get distracted by the positive reviews as some of them worked for Milestone or had a very good relationship with the resident manager - I am sure they do not have any deposit problems. I have lived there this year until May and as many others I have the same issue with the deposit and the communication. I am still waiting to get my deposit back (more than 3 months already)!! I paid everything accordingly and contacted them immediately after move out. First, they take ages to respond and second, every month they tell me the same - “you will get the money next month”. More than that: they even claim that my contract period was until July (although it was until May as stated in the contract), so that I owe them 747 EUR which they will deduct from my deposit. After sending them my contract and other documents several times, they still claim that I owe them money. Calling the customer service is non-sense as they do not have access to invoices. Someone from the invoice team should have called me back, but guess what - it never happened. Now they tell me they have different owners and they need to approve the transaction - every time new excuses. 
The rooms are ok (depending on your neighbors - some are just disrespectful), no equipment though, thy gym is alright and the kitchen is mostly not usable (see pictures in other reviews). ADVICE for those who have just moved in and paid the deposit already: deduct the deposit from your last rent payment and be persistent. There are many (clever) people who did not transfer the deposit and got away with it. Although I still had a great time during that semester, it is really annoying right now as I rely on that money. Unfortunately, I have to take further legal actions to get my money back. Terrible company

    Terrible company, they take ages to reply to anything, are completely disorganized, and take a long time to give back your security deposit which is not cheap by the way. I'm still waiting for mine and i left the housing 7 months ago, and they say that they give it back after 3 months... The housing is nice and Beatriz the manager is a very good professional that moves mountains for the resident, it is sad to see such a good professional on such a terrible company. The cleaning staff is efficient and nice but the security staff can be quite unpolite.

    Hello! Old milestoner here, I strongly advice you to avoid this place, management can take up to 3 months to reply, you’ll never get your deposit back unless you threat them with a lawyer, kitchen is always dirty, some things get stolen if you let them there.. there are way better options and cheaper! EDIT: I’ve been getting harassed by milestone manager, she has told me numerous times to reflect and delete this review. Just makes you think how a company can be.

    Update as of June 1st: I have still not received my deposit, they told me in April they'd try to return my deposit by the end of the month. I was just told that the "external providers" have not approved the refund despite being on the refund cycle. Approaching 6 months without being refunded the deposit. I was told I would be put on the refund cycle for January at the beginning of the new year. I was not paid back my deposit by the end of the month. They then told me I would be paid back at the end of February, or beginning of March, which of course I was not. Once again, they said there would be delays and they'd "try" to put me on the refund cycle for the end of March, it is now April and I still do not have my deposit. The administration is incredibly slow at Milestone, they hound you to pay your monthly rent if you forget for a few days, but apparently returning deposits within months is a difficult task. Keep in mind, they have had this issue of paying back deposits for over a year and have still not fixed it. Editing my comment again because they said they still don't know when they'll pay me back and asked me to be patient. Please, also disregard some of the positive reviews you see (like my old one), many of us were specifically asked to leave a good review up. On top of this, I had worked as the assistant manager at Milestone (I was not paid for 4.5 months) by the company that owns Milestone Lombos, Catella. In order to be paid, I had to threaten them with lawyers, privately contact multiple employees, and notify the rest of the students I was quitting because I was not paid in months. They only paid after their image was in jeopardy.

    I did the entire 2021-2022 academic year in Milestone Lombos and overall I would not recommend it. The resident manager is not there most of the time and not reachable when needed. One example is the fact that students when arriving at Milestone, they had to wait for HOURS for the resident manager to arrive, who in reality was supposed to already be there as it was during her working hours and she was aware of the such arrivals. Another example relates to the disgusting conditions in which the kitchen was left by a good number of students, taking advantage of the fact that there was not supervisor and that the cleaning staff would have cleaned what they left afterwards. Even though there were cameras recording everything, the resident manager did not take actions (only sent messages to the group chat). Another aspect that made the entire experience tiring and difficult was that students would keep the vacuum cleaners in their own room and also damaging them or removing some parts. I found myself looking for one for days before finding one. This was all possible because there was no control over who was taking them. While in other student residences a student needs to hand in his/her document when wanting to use one, here anyone could take one anonymously. The inability to handle properly difficult situation was also experienced whenever there was no water supply for hours or the entire day (it happened once every 2 months) as the resident manager was not reachable for hours. The worst of all is the issue I am now experiencing. The issue relates the refund of the deposit. According to the contract it was supposed to be returned in July but so far I have still not received it. I keep sending emails asking for an update and all I get is "Currently there is a delay with the deposit refunds. The new owners have to confirm the transfer." The last reply (as of September 26) I got was "If you the new owners confirm the refund you should expect it in October". It is now end of October and I still have not received it back (I moved out last May). The only positive thing I can say about my experience at Milestone Lombos regards the cleaning stuff as they were exquisite and very diligent in their job.

    Terrible Experience at Milestone Lombos: Unreliable Manager and Unreturned Deposit I moved out of Milestone Lombos in December 2022, and my experience with this establishment has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the unresponsive manager to the unreturned deposit, I can confidently say that I would not recommend this place to anyone. First and foremost, the manager's lack of responsiveness is extremely frustrating. Despite numerous attempts to contact them through various channels, including emails, WhatsApp, and even in-person visits, I have not received a single response. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and reflects a complete disregard for tenants' concerns and needs. Furthermore, the non-return of my deposit is simply unacceptable. It has been several months since I moved out, and I have not received any information regarding the status of my deposit, let alone a refund. This negligence and failure to adhere to basic legal obligations regarding the return of deposits are both infuriating and concerning. In addition to the unresponsive manager and the unresolved deposit issue, I also want to highlight the overall lack of trustworthiness I experienced during my time at Milestone Lombos. The manager's unprofessional behavior and failure to address tenant concerns have left me questioning the integrity of this establishment. Moving is already a stressful experience, but the unresponsiveness and lack of cooperation from the manager at Milestone Lombos have made it significantly worse. As a result of this experience, I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this place to reconsider and find an alternative. In conclusion, my time at Milestone Lombos has been marred by an untrustworthy manager who does not respond to messages and the failure to return my deposit. I cannot emphasize enough how disappointing and frustrating this experience has been. Spare yourself the trouble and seek out a more reliable and reputable accommodation option elsewhere.

    I had an extremely negative experience with Milestone Lombos. After renting an apartment from them and paying a deposit, I expected to receive my deposit back upon moving out. However, despite my repeated attempts to contact them via email, they completely ignored my requests and never returned my deposit. The complete lack of communication and responsiveness from Milestone Lombos was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. It's unacceptable for a company to treat their customers in this way. The fact that they ignored my emails and failed to return my deposit has left me feeling cheated and disrespected. Overall, I would not recommend Milestone Lombos to anyone based on my experience. Their lack of communication and disregard for their customers is completely unacceptable , and I would caution anyone against doing business with them.

    I regret to say that my experience with the manager of Milestone Student Residence has been nothing short of abysmal. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this particular residence or, better yet, consider the much better managed Milestone at Nova. First and foremost, punctuality is a concept foreign to the manager. I cannot count the number of times I have visited the office during posted hours only to find it empty and locked. It's as if the manager has no regard for the responsibilities of their role or the inconvenience caused to the residents. The state of the kitchen in this residence is simply appalling. Basic amenities such as paper and cleaning tools are consistently absent, leaving residents to fend for themselves. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance is nothing short of disgraceful. Dirty dishes pile up, appliances malfunction, and the overall hygiene is a nightmare. Communication with the manager is an exercise in futility. Text messages are met with either complete silence or an egregiously delayed response. It seems that addressing residents' concerns and inquiries is not a priority for this manager. This blatant disregard for communication only serves to worsen an already frustrating living experience. In addition, the manager has repeatedly mishandled packages and luggage deliveries. Items that were supposed to be promptly delivered and properly cared for have mysteriously disappeared for days, without any explanation or communication from the manager. It is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. In conclusion, the manager of Milestone Lombos has demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, responsibility, and basic courtesy. The neglect of their duties, the deplorable condition of the kitchen, the nonexistent communication, and the mishandling of residents' belongings make this particular residence an absolute nightmare. I implore prospective residents to look elsewhere for a well-managed living environment, such as Milestone Nova.

    I moved to this Milestone on September 2020 and left on January 2023, so i would expect that they would at least have some respect and consideration after almost 3 years. I payed all the bills on time and never broke the contract in any time. The manager is very incompetent, having failed multiple times with her duties. Since the beginning she has made very clear that she will only help who she wants to help, and i have experienced from personal and from friends experiences how disrespectful she can be. When i did my checkout, no one asked my bank details or even asked me anything, and as my contract said, after 2 months that i left (in March) i questioned where was my deposit was, to which they answered that they didnt have my bank details. I said that no one asked me and the manager admited to be wrong and to emmend her mistake, i would be a priority to receive the deposit as soon as possible. In the end of march, after exchanging emails with the financial part of milestone i was assured that i was on the refund cycle to receive the deposit by the end of April- beginning of May. In the begginning of May I still had not received my deposit that i should have received in March. I sent multiple emails without response and when trying to contact the manager, she said she cannot help because she has no authorithy on that matter. But if she doesn't have any authority, why does she sends texts to ex residents asking to make good reviews on google because the company "needs it" and as a way of persuation, these residents receive the deposit really really fast without any burocracy, without even having to ask for it. So it is very clear that they will only return your deposit when they want to, it is not a problem with the system or whatever they will tell you. Today is June 11th, more than 6 months after i have left the building and still have not received my deposit. Sent many emails without any response, and I usually dont write reviews but this seems to be the only way the company cares, when their image is at stake. Also, dont be fooled by the good comments since they are all staged and requested by the resident manager. On a good note, the cleaning team is amazing, especially Simone treating the residents with such kindness and love.

    Definitely a great experience here at Milestone. The facility makes it easy to create special bonds with the people inside and to forge strong friendships. The problems with the cleanliness of public spaces has to do with the responsibility of students who do not clean up their own filth and expect everything to be magically clean the next day. The building is equipped with facilities that really make a difference compared to competitors in the area. There is a 24-hour gym, party room, rooftop and study rooms. The rooms are well equipped, modern and efficient. The management team at Lombos is made up of people who care about their work and do their utmost to make themselves available to the needs of the students, always with a smile on their face. Possible delays in response and communication are a corporate issue and have nothing to do with the Lombos team.

    Update: As of today, I still haven’t received any response from Milestone regarding my situation. This inconvenience forces me to write my third review in three months given that they never answer emails, and this is the only platform they care to check. I have been contacting Milestone since November of last year to resolve my situation and they have just not cared enough to solve my situation. I have sent many emails with all the documentation that backups my situation and entitles me to receive my full deposit refund and still they haven’t given me a response or the remaining amount of my deposit refund. After my first review, I got called by your staff mentioning that my situation was a priority, and I would be receiving the €679 Milestone owes me in 2 months maximum. Today it’s been 3 months from that call, and I still have not received my money or an update call. With my second review, the staff did not even care to give me a call or send me an email which I consider extremely disrespectful. I have been EXTREMELY patient with Milestone. As I mentioned, I have been trying to solve my situation since November and the staff simply does not care even though is their responsibility. This will be my last review since I am more than tired of dealing with the lack of interest to solve problems from the staff. I will not allow my money to be stolen, and if taking legal action is the only way to get my money back, then I will be forced to do it.

    Although I don't usually write Google reviews, I feel compelled to do so in this case. My time in Milestone Lombos was quite nice! I had a great room and was very pleased with the facilities. I also felt that Bia, the residence manager, was always very concerned about the residents' well-being. However, I still have not received my deposit back. For the record, I left Milestone at the end of December 2022 and expected that - as written in the contract - the deposit would be returned no later than 2 months after moving out, i.e. February 2023. Now it is already May 2023, but I have not yet received back the deposit amounting to 1100 EUR. This is particularly unfortunate as Milestone (correctly) expects each resident to pay their bill on time, but the company is failing to meet their own contractual obligations. At the outset, Milestone said that I had not provided my bank information with the move-out and therefore the payment was delayed by a month. Several points on this justification: First, I was not told that I needed to send my bank information to Milestone for the deposit refund. This is also not specified in the contract. Second, this seems to work at Milestone Nova - my fellow student received his deposit back on time there without giving his bank information. Third, even if there was a delay of a month as a result, the deposit should have been returned no later than March. In the meantime, after sending my bank details immediately, I have contacted Milestone several times, but each time Milestone just keeps saying that they will put you on the list for payment. At this point, I would like to emphasize that I am not a person who immediately writes bad reviews or even threatens with a lawyer if a contractually set payment deadline is missed by a few days or even a month. Nevertheless, we are talking about the fact that I have been waiting for the repayment of 1100 EUR for more than 4 months now and that this should have been done 2 months ago at the latest. This business behavior is particularly inconsiderate to people who need the deposit back on time to cover their running costs. If I do not receive the deposit back as soon as possible, I will be forced to take legal action against Milestone.

    Honestly great. Had my contract for one semester and still decided to extend it for the whole academic year. It is true that with the previous management there have been in some cases problems with the deposit and about the management responsiveness, but things seems to be amazing now. The structure is modern and clean, the equipment is great and the big common kitchen provides an amazing opportunity to meet new people and other Nova students! Room AC, double beds, rooftop and private gym are all features that honestly cannot be found everywhere else. I would highly recommend, especially as the current building manager Beatriz is simply amazing and super available (even via phone at crazy times of the day when she is not in the building).

    I´ve been living in Milestone Lombos since February 2022, it has always been a wonderful experience for me, the facilities of the residence are very helpful in everyday life, such as room weekly cleaning and cleaning of common areas. As a foreign student, I could not feel safer living here as we have security in the building. I could not be more grateful for being part of the Milestone community and I would like to thank Milestone Lombos for the great time and support on my journey, especially thank Beatriz the actual manager for taking care so well of this building and organize super fun events, her great management makes everything possible. Very happy to be part of this family. Thank you :)

    I lived in Milestone from August 2021 until June 2022 and had a fantastic time. The rooms, common rooms, and facilities are beautiful and excellent for students. It is the perfect place to meet many new and like-minded people in a new city to have a good time together (especially on the roof), but you also have the privacy you need within your own four walls. All in all, I would truly recommend Milestone to anyone visiting Nova for a semester or a full degree.

    I was with some friends in Milestone's kitchen, and when I went down to the ground floor to get dinner and came back, my backpack was gone. I asked around and nobody saw it, but, fortunately, I saw there was a camera in that part of the kitchen pointed almost directly at where my backpack was. I contacted the resident manager right away and asked her to check the recordings and after THREE WHOLE DAYS of ignoring my repeated messages (since she wasn't to be found in her office on any of these days). She responds that the specific camera previously mentioned is broken. Having cameras just for show gives a false impression of security that doesn't exist, and is extremely unacceptable, being a potential danger to me and other residents if any news on the cameras being 'fake' spread around. The room is comfortable but this kind of problems make it hard to enjoy some moments.

    Great place to live, only issue is some students don't take responsibility for cleaning up their own mess and expect others to clean up for them. The cleaning team and management always do a thorough job and respond to any queries and needs quickly.

    I lived at Milestone Lombos for a year and I had a very good time. The room is very spacious and beautiful as are the common areas, such as the kitchen and the rooftop. I would recommend it to my friends, both because it is close the university, but above all for the moments and experiences you create with the people who live and work there.
