We were working in the area and could find much for hotels. This place is more for large events but I called anyway. They offered us a spacious cabin at an amazingly low rate because they didn't have any events booked. Place was clean as a whistle and had a ton of cool stuff. The owner is a really great down to earth guy. Would absolutely stay here again!

We've been here a couple times for family reunions and we usually have around 75-80 people in the lodge and camping. Our hosts are great! They don't mind that we have cornhole contests, and other yard games! And its a comfortable night's sleep in a quiet little location.

We had the best experience ever with family @ this Amazingly Unknown Gem in Aakron, Iowa! Would highly recommend for any corporate pheasant hunting group, a great place for a family reunion, or a great rustic place for a wedding. You gotta check this place out!

What an absolutely 💯 incredible place. Gorgeous inside and out comfy beds and the Hosts are so incredibly nice and helpful. So much room for our Family Reunion and it's a LARGE Family. I would recommend this place to ANYONE!!! We already booked our next 2 years here and most likely will never try to find another place again!!

We had our family reunion here and everyone agreed this is our new place! The kids had a lot of things to keep them busy (arcade games, basketball court, playgrounds, fire pits for smores, horseshoes and tons of space to run)..Also we really loved the fact all 40+ of us could eat together instead of having to be spread all over. Definitely recommend this place!

We came here for a Thanksgiving with extended family. the facilities are wonderful, especially if you want to do your own cooking for a large group. The kitchen is very well stocked and they let you know in advance what they do not have. The rooms are all beautiful and comfortable and the game room is amazing! Joe, the manager, was friendly and responsive and helped us get out the archery equipment when we decided we wanted to give that a try. Unique gem in Northwest Iowa.

Wonderful place, so much to do here and interesting artwork and decor everywhere you look! Rooms are wonderful, kitchen is so well stocked and there was actually enough dining space for our large family! Only drawback is there isn't a full dishwasher.

Unique and comfortable. We stayed at the Hole N' the Wall for our Thanksgiving family get-together. The main Lodge is beautiful and well-furnished. Loads of interesting and comfortable areas whether you want to hang out together, eat, cook, relax, get away or play. The basement game area is a blast, with all sorts of classic arcade and table games (ping pong, billiards, foosball, etc). We also enjoyed exploring the grounds, doing some archery, and having campfires. Joe, the main caretaker, was super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the location to others.
