This place is adorable! Small room but it doesn't feel that way. Good cable TV and a nice air conditioner. Great value for the price we paid. Super affordable and I will be recommending it to everyone. :)

Great spot to stay when your semi truck breaks down along HWY 14..in -36 weather...during the polar blast.. The owners were very welcoming..the rooms were affordable, very clean and the bed was super comfy! Thanks guys! You Rock! CHEERS!

I was driving in bad weather going to work. I knew I shouldn’t continue. I stopped in Tyler. The owner was so very nice and accommodating. The rooms were warm,, extremely clean and comfortable! Thanks so much for saving me when I shouldn’t have been out in bad weather! In the morning a mom and her child were shoveling the snow in the parking lot. I could hear them outside and they were kind to each other even though they were shoveling in -18 degrees. Clearly a great family! Fabulous place to stay! Good luck to the owner, he’s a kind man!

Family owned and operated business offering a genuine motel experience in a small town. Updated bathrooms, refrigerator and microwave, with pleasant outdoor seating and short walk to an great steakhouse.

Wow!!!! This place is awesome for nice stay. Unfortuately was unable to actually stay here - but, by the care and concern the owner gave to help us find a place nearby last minute........I can only assume they care about everything else. Based on previous reviews- that is the case.

This motel was so awesome! A total throwback that is well maintained and operated by a great staff. The rooms are as tiny as they come, but kick back and enjoy the nostalgia. You can't help but be reminded of how oversized our modern lives really are, when we can be just as comfortable in such a small space. As long as you're in good company with family and/or friends of course. So be sure to check the Tyler Motel out next time you're cruising through to one oversized abode or the other. Try tiny for a change! But make no mistake, TM is big on personality and memories for all.

Ended up stranded when I-29 was closing heading into SD because of a snow storm. Everyone was super friendly! They offered to get me into town if I needed anything! Even jumped my car when I was ready to leave! Would stay there again.

Great little place, very clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly hosts.
