Very good breakfast! The waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was great! I had breakfast tacos, my wife had eggs, meat and potatoes, my son had waffles. Nice clean restaurant looks over the golf course and an air port. Fighter jets and commercial air planes taking off and landing pretty cool to watch. Good beer selection. Clean and comfortable.

Got the wings, flat bread and strawberry cheesecake. The wings are huge so it'll definitely fill you up. I also got the Carolina bbq sauce it's very sweet and a little spicy. I like it okay. The flat bread is good. Very think and crispy and cheesey. One of the few vegetarian dishes on the menu. The strawberry cheesecake is way too sweet. I think they bought it from elsewhere and just add on the cream and stuff to serve. I know American desert is sweet but this will beat everything else...lol

We started with the Totchos appetizer which are basically some very delicious home made tater tots. If I hadn’t had a burger for lunch, I would have tried one of the Lucy burgers. They looked amazing and I was told that they are. I opted for the Chicken Pot Pie which was also amazing. Be warned. If you’re in a hurry, don’t get the Pot Pie. It was super hot for a while. I got the Alaskan Amber beer and it was equally as good as the food above. I did finish up with the chocolate chip Lucy and I have to say I was disappointed. I was expecting a warm soft chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. The cookie was, in my opinion, very hard. The waitress did her part to try to make right and brought another and, while it was better, it still wasn’t what I expected. All that said, I still would recommend this place. The food is excellent and still recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way back from Minneapolis for a quick bite before heading back to Rapid. It's nice inside. The menu items all looked pretty decent. It wasn't terribly busy. The order seemed to take quite a while (close to or over 30 min). My burger and my girlfriend's burger were kinda warm. Definitely not hot off the grill. Overall, pretty mediocre. I wouldn't stop there again.

My first time at this place was exceptional, but each return visit has gotten progressively worse. My first clue that today's carry out order would go bad should have been when I called and had to repeat 4 times what I wanted for a side item. I guess she really wanted me to have those waffle fries (not a fan). When I arrived I was completely ignored by the staff for 10 minutes even though the bartender was standing 3 feet away and just chit chatting. Good thing I wasn't there for a drink. Someone did finally come but by then the food had already been sitting out and was no longer fresh. It wasn't prepared to the same standard as my first visit, and at $20 for a sandwich and a few (very few) cheese balls I would expect something that was well prepared and not haphazardly tossed into a box. I've had terrible service for three visits in a row. Three strikes and you're out. I will not return. There are too many other options for me to continue throwing money away at a place that simply does not care.

I went two times and the first time the service was so bad. I left. The second time. The service was really good and this was in the evening. The first time I was on a Sunday around noon. The hamburger was really delicious. I got the American burger.

They did a great spread for Mothers Day, with Prime Rib and a Brunch buffet with eggs, salmon, ham, French toast, Mac & cheese, various other sides, pastries and cookies. It was a nice way to share an elevated meal with our family and not have to cook or clean up.

We enjoyed our meal while relaxing on the patio off the golf course. The oatmeal stout was very good, and the peanut butter porter was... an interesting experience. The seasonal salad was a yummy bowl of freshness - spinach, strawberries, feta cheese, almonds, and raspberry vinaigrette. The squash soup was velvety smooth, subtle deliciousness. My companion enjoyed the Jalapeno Lucy (burger), and I consumed the Totchos appetizer (huge tator tots smothered like nachos) as my dinner. We topped it off by splitting the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream dessert. Our server checked in on us just enough. Lovely evening after a long day of travel.

I ordered a Peperjack Lucy and it was lovely. I will say, I do like more veggies on my burger so I'm not sure that I would order it again, however, it was very good. I also had the tater tots and oh my goodness! Those could have been a meal all on their own! They were fantastic! Crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. You could see the bacon, cheese, and onions on the inside and I really didn't need to burger after those. I highly recommend the tots!

Stopped in before the Cinch Rodeo. The place was busy...but I bellied up to the bar and ordered a pint and wings. Service was fast and friendly. If I'm in Sioux Falls again I will definitely stop by again!!!

I gave 4 star on food and here's why. I ordered onion rings and the walleye and chips, it comes with 2 large walleye filets and walleye fries. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the fish was cooked to perfection. My only complaint would be the stale waffle fries. I don't know if it was from the oil on the fish or what. The onion rings were fried to perfection as well so I'm not sure what happened to the fries. My server was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music wasn't too loud. All in all it a good place to relax and have a good meal.

Would have given 5 stars, but they were out of some items and there was no avocado on the Lucy's we got. Otherwise everything was good and tasty!

It's been 5-6 months since the last visit. The last visit was very slow service and hoped it's gotten better. I was just as disappointed. We were seated quickly. We ordered drinks and food as soon as we were able. Total meal time was 1.5 hours doing quick food items. The delays came from lack of wait staff and wrong orders and correction of tickets. Wait staff was pleasant but after we ordered we never saw our waitress until everyone was done eating. The hostess that actually brought our food was told about what was wrong on the order and offered drinks and nothing was adjusted. 2 sides were wrong, no dipping sauce, and 0 drink refills for an hour. We were told we'd get refills and the tickets would be adjusted for what was wrong. The tickets when they come out we're still wrong, we finally got refills as we're trying to pay to leave. Not sure if it's a lack of staff or caring as the food didn't come out as shown on the tickets and the staff vanished. If you can't keep up. Close half the seating down, people would rather wait for good service than sit down and have a very bad experience. I hope you go back to how you were a couple years ago as I really did enjoy this restaurant but as it sits now I'll try again in 6-12 months and if it's still bad I'll just give up.

Waited for more than 5min until I decide to sit myself… three waiters passed by my side while standing waiting for someone to offer me a table… they didn’t have the beer they recommend with the Lucy on their menu… I stayed because I had a room at the Holiday Inn and I was really hungry… food was good… service needs urgent attention.

Don’t know if I came at the wrong time or what. Got sat at 450 PM December 18th 2024 and just waited for 15 minutes. They were not busy (5/6 tables) and I saw 4 servers pass by me but nothing. Going to another restaurant with better service.

On multiple occasions the bar service has been terrible and slow. The bartender dissappears into the back area for long periods of time. By the time he returned he had so many table orders piled up he couldn't get to refilling the drinks of those sitting at the bar. Table service has always been good.

Very nice and clean. She sat us at a booth when we asked for one. She got my first burger ordered in wrong. Brought my actual burger out finally after waiting again. Take a bite. It’s got mayo. Didn’t like that. Thought I could save it by wiping it off. Come to find out it’s the rawest burger I’ve ever been served in my life. The watermelon limeades are THE NASTIEST drink I’ve ever had in my life. DID NOT TASTE LIKE WATERMELON. Was so sweet and sour and artificially flavored. I had to dump my water into the drink to even sustain drinking it because it was that bad. I didn’t want to complain too much but once we got the food the second time I had to say something. The server we had was nice but she asked us if we had even been helped yet. As if she didn’t know where or what section we were sitting in. Lovely girl. I did enjoy her.

Stellar service - even on the 4th of July!! Thanks for being open. Awesome Bloody Mary (with beer back) and Tacos. I’ve only been to the location in Minneapolis and was thrilled to see one in Sioux Falls on my road trip. Had to make the stop and glad I did. Gorgeous spot, huge views of the golf course, ample TVs and large parking lot!

One of the better restaurants attached to a hotel. What I like best about this bar/restaurant is how spacious it is. Crooked Pint can seat alot of customers but you don't feel like your sitting too close to others. Waitress was very friendly. Took the time to explain some good features about the meals. I had a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. Really good. Was fun to be able to see the green golf course out the windows. Nice place.

The food was decent. My glass was empty for a long time. I was not asked if I wanted a refill, so I finished my water and called it a night. The nachos were not my favorite, but the rest of the food was good.

The gentleman with the beard, and the girl with the red/blonde hair, did fantastic busting their butts behind the bar when things got busy. Very nice and checked on everyone. The food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend the Stars and Stripes burger!

By far the best service we received EVER! Our sever Brittany was amazing. Our toddler was not happy because his food was the last to come out and she gave us free breakfast. Definitely recommend the sunrise tacos.

Food was absolutely delicious. Came out quickly after we ordered. The Lucy burgers and walleye sandwiches were amazing, and the tacos were “the best” my son has ever had. Our server Bre was friendly and gave great service.

Brought in a group of 8. They sat us right away. They seemed a bit short-handed but our waitress (Jerica) was a rock star! She kept our glasses full & our table clean. Our appetizers were good & hot. She made sure the baby got her food first. I recommend the wings, club sandwich, & wild berry lemonade. Love the atmosphere overlooking the golf course.

Was here last summer and the food was great! Hooked on to the Holiday Inn in Sioux Falls, SD. Service was also great. Had the “Gigantic Pretzel” and shrimp tacos. Lots of food for the price and just damn good eating.

Open and spacious, Crooked Pint has the ambience of an upscale brewhaus with the laid back amphi of your local pub. We had totchos for the appetizer, they’re stuffed, oversized tater tots, they come with a lot of cheese inside-out, a side of sour cream and they’re topped with green onions. My partner had the Steakhouse Lucy, and the side salad. I had the Pepper-jack Lucy, with fries. For those who don’t know: A Lucy is a hamburger patty stuffed with cheese before it is cooked. The Steakhouse Lucy was delicious, juicy, but a little undersized for the price -$16.00 the bun was larger than the burger. The salad was a standard-fair salad. I love that they added cucumbers and cherry tomatoes! The Pepperjack Lucy was oozing with cheese from the first bite, I’ve never had a better-stuffed burger. It was juicy and the bread was slightly toasted, which I absolutely loved! However, the burger was smaller than the bun. The fries were crisp and you get a large portion. As far as service goes, we are there on a Friday night, we were seated immediately. However, despite there being plenty of staff, our server forgot us twice, he didn’t really check on us until we were ready for the check. Although the service is lacking, the prices are a little high for the small burger that you get. We will eat there again.

I love the fact they do GARLIC PARM FRIES!!! The evil genius who came up with this is probably God himself! You have to try it! The Lucy burgers are unique in itself! Good flavored meat and the bacon 😩😩💖 it was amazing! I definitely recommend coming here! 32 taps of unique beer! Top shelf wine, and the mixed drinks are lovely! Stay at the holiday inn so you can get smashed and not have to drive!

We had a dinner & breakfast there. Both were great experiences. Staff was courteous. Large pretzel was gigantic & the right softness. The breakfast tacos were plenty for two.

  • 3/5 J G. 2 years ago on Google
my waitress didn’t seem like she liked her job very much but other than that the juicy lucy burger was beautifully seasoned and had great flavor. the fries were very salty and kinda flabby. the pot pie skillet wasn’t a pie at all, it just had a crust on top of it that was probably frozen. very average honestly but i would come back for the burger!

A nice place with some good “Juicy Lucy’s.” I went here with my coworkers after some intense labor. Ordered the build your own flight to try some new IPAs. After finishing my meal I found the real highlight of this establishment. The urinal had the highest surface area to minimal splash ratio I had ever experienced. The bathroom experience was no less than legendary. 8.6/10 will come again and drink copious amounts of fluid before hand.

We were staying at the hotel attached to the restaurant so after traveling all day this was very convenient. I had Bourbon Cranberry Chicken Salad and calamari for an appetizer. The calamari was not bad, more breading than calamari. The salad was good but a little heavy on the dressing. I also had a Manhattan but think I got an Old Fashioned instead. Many bartenders don’t seems to know the difference and it was served warm. Dinner was ok.
