Friendly people

Last night I stopped in to meet a girl that I met on Facebook dating, Shawna. Gaslight is her go to spot and I can see why. Everyone I met felt like a long lost friend I've always wanted to meet again. I met a new client that wants a new tattoo and is down for me to do. I don't drink but the tender even put a lemon in my ice water. This is a great Spot! I will return!

Local is the best

Unfortunately the Dive no longer serves food here (you will find them on Western and 26th) now - but the Gaslight is still the place to hang - the regulars are welcoming, bartenders super friendly and drinks priced right/ go here!!!!

The bar is great and the servers..... HOWEVER......the pop up food. "The Dive" HORRIBLE. BURNT MUSHROOMS. BURNT ONION RINGS. BURNT CHICKEN BITES. the dude claimed he's a chef HAHAHAHAHA says the BURNT is caramelized Any cook knows caramelized means cooked in a pan with oil or butter. NOT DEEP FAT FRIED Never again!!!!!

Love this little place every time we come to town. Great place for a good drink

I love this place. Vintage Sioux Falls. Divey and comfortable. $2 Icy mugs of beer and a new little restaurant inside with a new menu. The Nashville chicken sandwich was tasty and the homemade ranch and bleu cheese were great! Nice wings and the fries were awesome!

It's a neighborhood bar with great down to earth people

It's ok. I used to really love this place, it had a very memorable, unusual interior full of character. In the process of updating, that was all done away with, aside from the back bar. Kinda sucked the character out of the room. The service is decent and friendly. While the selection is wide, there are strange things missing (like Maker's Mark). The best reason to visit is grabbing a burger from the Dive, the kitchen in the back.

Firstly, the gas light. Nice quaint little bar that has its crowd of regulars and cheap drink. Had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and good at what they do. Beer was cheap and cold. Th food place in the back, OMG! Totally amazing. Everything is made from scratch and has the best Aus Ju sauce I’ve had with a French dip sandwich. Will definitely be back in the future

This review is more so for the kitchen part of this spot. The dive is the best bar food I've ever had. It doesn't even feel appropriate to call it bar food but when I'm roam, right? They operate separate from the gaslight so you have to place your order back at the kitchen window but a small price to pay for the awesomesauce about to hit your taste buds. Dive pops= chicken & waffles or their take on it anyways. Imagine a corn dog but with chicken inside & waffle batter fried so perfectly around it. Who doesn't think more food should conveniently come on a stick!! French dip has Au Jus you will probably want to drink any remaining in the cup, cheese curds are real deal & you can get duck fat on your fries. Only thing I didn't enjoy about The Dive is that they served me the most delicious ooey gooey egg burger ever my first time going & now it's not on the menu!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK! The top bun actually had the fried egg inside of it & OMG it couldn't have been more perfect. Mouth is watering just thinking about it!

This place was hoppin! Haha! A crowd at every turn, and serving two large birthday parties on top of it. Ours was one of them. We had around 30 people at our table, and one server. And she was amazing! She kept drinks filled, got everyone's order correct and brought out while their food was still hot, and so everyone was able to enjoy their food at the same time. The food was great! The place was very clean too, including the bathrooms!

This is not at all what you would expect! From the outside, it looks like a typical dive bar in a so-so part of town. Once you go in, though, the inside is beautiful and updated. The drinks are great as well. A fun go-to for classic drinks and bar food.

The outside has so much potential but it really just looks like a crappy back lot. This places saving grace was the kind lady who was the cook! Spoke 8 languages, paid and prepared a special dish for me and some friends after she told us about an awesome dish from her home country. That woman was awesome
