The food this time was unfortunately a 4, but the incredible service bumped it up to a 5. Our server was incredibly polite and very service oriented. Truly made the experience awesome! The firecracker shrimp, a consistent favorite of mine, was unfortunately soggy and lacked the solid fry on the batter. The brussel sprouts and mussels were fantastic! The wedge salad was also very flavorful! Bit heavy on the dressing, but it’s better than not getting enough. The Korean chicken bowl was delicious and had the crunch I was looking for with the exterior of the chicken. The coconut rice was light and fluffy! The surfer roll was delicious super fresh and the tempura shrimp provided much needed texture to the roll.

I’ve been here 5+ times, and I’m never disappointed. The service is always exceptional, and the atmosphere is sleek & modern. Cool location near downtown right on the river. My sushi was good, but perhaps not quite the best value in the area. (There’s cheaper options for equal quality sushi nearby.) you’ll be pleased with anything in the menu. All in all though, solid restaurant with full menu, lots of drinks, good service, and a cool atmosphere.

First of all, I must say that whoever ever named the place, nailed it!!! My sister and I came from from California to visit our brother. Our hotel was across from Crave so we decided to take our niece there for an early dinner. I had made reservations online, which was very easy to do. We were seated right away and our waiter showed up immediately and took our orders for drinks. He was very attentive and made several suggestions about the different beverages available. Our drinks were perfect ! My sister ordered the gluten free Crave burger and my niece ordered a chicken sandwich. I ordered something I thought was very unusual. It was the lobster mac and cheese with a side dish of grilled shrimps. Our meal was served in record time. I have never held back my opinion on how good or bad a meal was. I have to say not only was the presentation of the food good, the flavor did not, in any way, disappoint! The cost of the meal was extremely reasonable. All in all, the place is elegant but we didn't feel underdressed because of our casual clothes. When I return for another visit to Sioux Falls it won't matter how near or far my hotel is from Crave, I will definitely dine there again!!!

This place rocks, the food and the service phenomenal. Don't be fooled by the location yes it is inside of one of the hotels in the area but this was a great experience. I highly recommend it during the happy hours from 3-6pm. We ordered the Wagyu meatballs, calamari, sushi roll and crispy rice with spicy tuna and everything came out perfectly done, flavorful and the presentation out of a magazine. All paired up with a house red wine and the flavors popped. Overall a great experience.

Large selection of sushi and burgers/American entrees. Server knew the menu well and was able to make recommendations when asked. Portions were generous, but prices were pretty high.

We came for the first time today. Our waiter was Kevin. He did a great job in suggesting the pineapple mojito. 🍍 (sneaking) We had a great experience, and we will be making our way back. Kevin brought out 3 different sauces for my sushi, which was so delicious. The chicken/ avocado eggroll was honestly one of the best non-chinese types I've ever had!!! We plan to be back with a group for my friend's birthday 🎂. Thank you for a great dining experience, I don't need to let Gordan Ramsey know to come here because you guys are great!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Service to sit was quick and friendly. Waitress was slow to take our order. Very interesting menu. We ordered susi, daily special walleye and a wagu burger. The food took awhile to get. We asked for the susi as an appetizer but recieved it with our main dish. The cocktails where ok. The susi was very good and fresh. The burger was average. The walleye had very unique flavors added to it. I would recommend the walleye and the susi. The waitress was slow to take care of us and was a disappointment. Would recommend the susi for sure

I love Crave and make it a point to come here yearly to eat. This marks the 3rd year and it was the WORST experience ever. The hostesses were rude, wouldn't seat us early even with reservations and the restaurant wasn't busy. We waited 15 minutes before I flagged down one of the other servers asking who was ours. Another 5 minutes go by and someone finally comes. He took our order and our meals took awhile to come out. When it did, it was cold. I look forward to their steak frites and it was such a disappointment this time around. The French fries were cold. He didn't come to check on us, and our drinks were not refilled without us asking. Horrible dining experience.

Delicious restaurant with some creative cocktails. On the pricey side but it is quality food in the Hilton restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive...will love to go back!

First time visiting Crave in years!! We came for the burger battle. The Unbrieable burger was definitely different. Don’t get me wrong - it was delicious! Not sure what I was expecting though. I guess with the immense height of the burger, I was thinking it wouldn’t fit in my mouth, but it definitely compacted down! Our waiter Oliver was very personable! He seemed very upbeat and very attentive to our needs! Our group had a wonderful time!

Crave is a surprisingly decent restaurant located in the Hilton Garden in Downtown Sioux Falls. On a recent visit to Sioux Falls, due to a dearth of restaurants open in the downtown area on Sundays on Mondays (and also due to the fact that I was staying at the hotel), my friend and I decided to eat at Crave. Service was very attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was jam packed. I ordered the steak frites and my friend had a vegetarian tofu dish. While the steak frites was not a true steak frites in the Parisian style, the meat was cooked just as I had requested, and was delectably tender, accompanied by a very generous helping of fries. My only critique is that the prices are high for Sioux Falls, but it is technically in a hotel so I guess that is to be expected. If you are in Sioux Falls and need a place to go on a Sunday evening, or any other night of the week, I highly recommend Crave.

I met a group of people there for an early dinner and drinks. I walked in and saw the dogs were welcome. It was a very nice addition to being able to make sure my pet was taken care of while I relaxed with friends.

Delicious filling food. Best place to go to when you can't decide between American or Japanese. Poke bowl was top of the line and the dessert was the best.

The hostess was welcoming and efficient. Our waitress seemed too busy and preoccupied for us. The only thing she did for us was bring us one of the two glasses of wine ordered. We waited for a long time after receiving our food to get chopsticks. She never once checked back in with us to see how things were. The food was mediocre. Once we were done we waited for our bill. We could see our waitress in the kitchen texting on her phone. We finally flagged her down for our bill. For a $90 table (2 people) I expect better service. I’m not sure I will be returning

It was a great experience! Arrived and ordered at 9:30 Friday evening. The staff was attentive and several checked if I'd been helped while a server was clearing a table. Ordered the Traditional Poke bowl and sake. It did take 30 minutes for the dish to come out, but it was a pleasant wait watching several people coming and going. Many gluten free options as well as vegetarian. Excellent food quality and the server was knowledgeable about the sake and food. Would definitely come back!

First try at crave and food was not a fav. Service was excellent and atmosphere was superb. Food was very high priced for not the best quality. 5 of us had different items. I had gluten-free Flatbread & added chicken. Chicken was huge pieces but very tender, bread was very hard and was difficult to eat, flavors were good but together was a dry lunch. Others order wings, burger lettuce wraps and salmon...good but very pricey. Was thinking of trying the Omaha location, but I see it is closed 😱

great restaurant - great location in hotel on the river - vast menu selections & exquisite sushi - the massive 'Godzilla" roll rules! - - serious bar & patio seating with riverside views - you won't be disappointed - but you may "CRAVE" it again & again !

The service was great, and main dishes were decent, but we ordered dessert to celebrate a birthday and the mini tiramisu had a blue cheese taste. My husband told our waiter who took it (and removed from bill), but no explanation or response was given to the bad taste (was the mascarpone bad?). Am I going to get sick? Tomorrow will tell, and slightly worried after seeing the 85 health food score...ugh, please do better if a question arises as food safety is important and we won't be returning with these issues.

The wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. So we once again put on our semi formal fancy pants and drove to the downtown. The restaurant is attached to a hotel, but upon entering, it has a cozy restaurant feel. Decor is nice, wine racks, nice chandeliers, nice bar, candle lit tables. We were seated and greeted by our waitress Karissa. She was excellent. Friendly and attentive. We started our order with an appetizer of parmesean truffle fries, a pineapple mojito, and a red bull watermelon margarita. Then, I ordered lemon garlic chicken dinner, Chilean Sea Bass wirh mushroom risotto, sushi spider roll, and some unagi. Drinks and Parm fries were delicious. Fries come with ketchup and some other delicious dip. The eel was cold, which I'm not used to. It should be served hot with eel sauce coating it. Cold eel isn't the most pleasant taste. The Spider roll was decent. No complaints. The Lemon Chicken was delicious. Moist, cooked perfect. The best dish was the Sea Bass with the Mushroom Risotto. The mushrooms and sauce were amazing. A must try dish if you go here. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu bite and the French Silk bite. Top notch desserts. The French silk is out of this world. Aside from some cold eel, this place is a must try. Anyone who lives in Sioux Falls or enjoys trying great restaurants can't miss out on this place. Definitely will be back again.

Pretty classy restaurant. Great and quick service. Our waitress was polite and attentive. The food was out very quick after ordering. Chose pasta, which was good but not real flavorful. Decent sized portions but somewhat spendy.

EXTREMELY impressed with CRAVE in Sioux Falls. We ordered in tonight via Door Dash, and when part of our order didn’t arrive, we contacted them directly and explained the situation. The manager drove to our home to deliver the sushi, along with a gift card ! Beyond impressed. Not only do we LOVE their food, but we LOVE their customer service. THANK YOU!

Food was ok, I've been to a different Crave and I think the food was better there, however I don't know if it was because we were there an hour and half before their closing time? Food took a while too. It was clean, waitress was attentive and drinks were good!

Although, it was half full, of all empty spots, I was seated by window, directly at the sun. It got uncomfortably hot. However, staff was quick in pulling shade down and very sweet about it. It was still a bit too warm, but bearable. If you’re going for a quiet dinner, wait til after Happy Hour, as it was very loud. Had to put my earphones on. I ordered Blood Orange Margarita, which had salt with a bit of tajin on rim. Be prepared, as it was strong and delicious. It wasn’t part of the happy hour menu but I had to try it. It was about $14. I did order the Apple grape flatbread. Surprisingly, it was Gluten free; yet, crispy and and absolutely delicious. At $7, from the Happy Hour menu, it’s a deal and pretty good size. Convenient hotel restaurant, good river views. Outside fairly more quiet. Should’ve eaten there.

The Chilean sea bass over risotto is awesome, might be the best plate of food I've ever tasted! The beef filets are pretty good too. The baked mac & cheese and chicken avocado egg rolls were not my favorite though.

Was taken there for Father’s Day to enjoy a great meal. Unfortunately that was not the case! The service was absolutely horrible, our meal was brought out before the salad and soup so the meal was reheated and served to us again. We ordered the prime rib medium rare and when we got it served to us a second time it was like as shoe leather. The manager said they only had well done prime rib. For $50 plus/plate I expected better service and at the least decent food. One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had!!

Always good. Chicken avocado egg rolls were good and the shrimp tempura roll is what we really come for. The s’mores brownie wasn’t bad, but not the best. A pricier spot for sure, but it is good and service is usually great!

My food was a 6, friends was a 4 but service was a 3 this time. I had not been there in three years and they were regulars. Truffle fries and salmon piccatta are now my fave! But the food took a very long time to come out, they were missing bacon and fries and they almost got charged for the fries we never got if I wouldn't have said anything. Had to ask 3 people where our food was, and also I did not get acknowledged or water till I asked to be moved to another table, then again took a very long time to get our orders in. Did not appear too busy or short staffed. Other than that, still a nice atmosphere here.

Not really a sushi bar (at least during Covid). Very little sushi on the current menu, with imitation crab. The rest of the non sushi food was average. We liked the ambiance, it was a popular place.

If you are gluten-free or have any food intolerance, you need to visit Crave! I've eaten here about 5 times and every time the staff is kind and very helpful. The burger was fantastic but having a GF bun was priceless. Every part of their menu is fresh, well prepared and served by super friendly staff.

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The server was fast, attentive, and personable. He also made good suggestions as far as the entrees and desserts. The mixed drinks were well-made, and were truly delicious. The sake selection was pleasant as well. I ordered the specialty King Kong roll, and it was both beautiful and delicious. The crab tower also really stood out along with the coconut cake. The slice was much larger than I anticipated, and the raspberry sauce really made it come together. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance, and I appreciated the décor. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

I've eaten here at least three times ... maybe more. The dining room is kinda loud so I either sit at the main bar or the outside bar. You definitely want to make reservations if you plan to eat in the dining room or outside before 8. The good news is the kitchen is open until 10 so even guys like me that refuse to plan ahead can get seated later in the evening without a reservation. Outside seating is adjacent to the river so the vibe is fun. Service is always prompt and friendly. The menu has a bunch of fun options so nobody should go home hungry. Try the traditional bowl

Tables are nicely spaced for a feeling of adequate distance but you can still see everyone else's food going by, to get ideas.... We had their burger battle burger which was very creative and fun. They also have really excellent fries, especially with the aoli. Yep, that's the stuff. The sushi and cocktails are also signatures and are always beautifully presented and delicious. I have never had an unpleasant server at this location. They are always friendly and accommodating.

Awful service. So apparently when a pandemic hits the spoiled rotten 20 somethings get to be bad at their jobs? Service was terrible. Not eating here again. When was the manager in the restaurant last?! Go somewhere else to eat.

Awesome service and quality food at a good price. Surf and Turf sliders had some amazing sauce on it along with the shrimp and beef. The sushi boat was also a great choice for sharing with the table and trying a bunch of new sushi. Great location close to downtown and they have an awesome outdoor area for the summer!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! This used to be my favorite restaurant. Tried to put in an order to-go for a burger, but the hostess informed me that I could only order the burger if I dined in the restaurant and not as a to-go order. I was shocked, as I have never even heard of a restaurant doing this, especially since we are in the middle of a pandemic. I had to go sit in the restaurant and order the burger to-go from a table. Won’t be back, shows how the management has little concern for Covid.

Celebrated a birthday here, and the food was delicious! I had the lemon-garlic chicken and my husband had the caprese pasta, and both looked very nice, and tasted delicious! Our daughters really enjoyed their meals, too. We're from out of town, but we've eaten here a couple of times, and each time we've enjoyed our meal. I have to say, however, the highlight of our birthday dinner was the AMAZING server, Oliver. He was incredibly kind, generous, and clearly knows what he's doing. We'd go back (and will!) simply because Oliver took such great care of us. Our middle school daughter is very petite for her age, and she REALLY appreciated that our server (Oliver) treated her "like an older kid, and not a baby!" Also, if you go to Crave (which you absolutely should), you MUST eat dessert. The coconut cake is the best cake I've ever eaten, and the S'mores brownie has become a favorite with the rest of my family. You can't go wrong! Thank you CRAVE, and Oliver, for a wonderful birthday dinner and dessert!

For a midweek visit the place was really busy. It's a destination for dates, anniversaries, and special occasions. During this last visit the food quality was definitely lower than our previous visit. This time we ordered sushi. It was OK sushi. It didn't have the freshness, presentation, nor variety we would look for in what we ordered. We ordered a chef's choice boat. My wife described it as all tasting the same. That was pretty accurate as to how I felt about it too. The variety and quality just weren't what I would have expected for the price. The spicy tuna roll and the nigiri of salmon and tuna were pretty good. I would say I liked those pieces and would have given the restaurant 4 stars. The rest was pretty "meh". What sealed the deal for a 3 star rating were the drinks. When spending 12 to 13 dollars for a drink, I expect it to be really good. The Sangria was ok. The BlackBerry Mule was also ok. Both of those could definitely have been better. It will probably be a while until we return again. But next time I would probably stick to whatever the staff would recommend.

My pineapple mojito was good but it had a little too much ginger, staff offered to replace it and I said it was not necessary and just added more pineapple to counter the spice from the ginger. The food was EXCELLENT. Unfortunately my kiddo found a hair in the last of her lobster Mac n cheese. thanks

8 pieces of sushi for almost 40 dollars, plus a 3.99 processing fee, their site does not state how many pieces of shushi is per order. being forced to pay for a tip to the driver who did not want to get out of the car but give through the window, an extra 45 minute wait time with ordering an hr ahead of time i would want it, it was late. the driver wanted as little effort as possible even if the driver was working for uber. will not buy from again. its hish priced for so so little. and those who say this place is good... you are eating from the bottom of the barrel

This is the perfect location for CRAVE. We stopped in Sioux Falls after a long drive from Deadwood and were so thankful for an upscale restaurant. We Had a reservation at 7:15 pm for a restaurant table. Walk ins were being seated before us, and We waited 20 minutes only to get sat at a high top at the very loud bar, this area was overcrowded with obnoxious teenagers, and young adults (definitely no COVID-19 regulations being followed). We were greeted immediately, then Ended up waiting 10 minutes, and our waiter never came back, so we didn’t even get our drink orders taken. We ended up walking out. Couldn’t take it anymore. It was a huge disappointment, the menu looked amazing.
