The Native American woman working there was super rude this evening. I use to love it there but tonight was horrible first she gave major attitude to my fiancé then she touched the trash can and went to prepare our food we told her no we are just going to go somewhere else as we was leaving she followed us and had the phone in her hands as if we stole nope we told u we was going somewhere else and why because u touched the trash can and didn’t change your gloves that is gross and can get people super sick!

If you don’t frequent Pepper Jax on a regular basis you’re missing out on some great food. My first experience was when they first arrived in Sioux Falls - terrific cheese-steak sandwiches. But my new favorite is their chicken and steak salads, perfect fit in my keto diet.

I try to come here every chance I get since I don’t go to Sioux Falls often. On 09/28/2022 I instantly regretted coming here as I walked in on a “nice warm” welcome. If you thought the spicy ranch was spicy the workers attitude was even more spicy. You couldn’t get them cheer up no matter how polite you were being to them. The vibe was so “uplifting” it made me want to match their energy. Food was good as always but the employees there need an attitude adjustment.

Overall experience was lacking. Not sure I would return anytime soon. I got the loaded fries, my wife got a Philly. My loaded fries lacked flavor, and she liked her Philly. I was not impressed with my first experience.

Always love the sandwiches there. Little slow today not much atmosphere but still a great experience

Our Pepper Jax in St Cloud closed down awhile ago. It was the first place my entire family could agree on. We've really missed this place. It was really great to be able to have it again.

We had EXCELLENT service at our last 2 visits. Go give them a try. Excellent fries - always made to order. Dip them in gravy..dare ya.

Food was made fresh, staff were all polite and everything was clean, a few TVs on to stare at if dining in. The -1 star was for the pic of fries, that was considered a large fry, and they make all fries to order so that is a measured amount you will always get. All the food was really good, but I felt given the box / sandwich sizes, the fries portion could be more for a large for 2-3 people to split. Highly recommend, but might want to order a couple large fries to feed a small family / extremely hungry people.

Food is always good. Customer service could use some TLC these days. 3 stars for service but I’ll say 4 stars because I do love the food, I’ve had mostly good experiences here, maybe just a rough day. Next time if I go there and the customer experience is the same, I will drop this review to 3 stars. I used to go here a lot with an old coworker before he moved away because we love the “Famous Phillys” but the wife doesn’t care for it so I don’t frequent as often as I used to. The workers were not friendly and really gave the impression that they didn’t want to be there. The two guys working were kinda quiet and left us wondering if and when they were ready for us to order. Made it a little awkward. A little “I’ll be right with you” while you clean the grill would go a long way instead of leaving us completely unaddressed. There was a woman that came up from the back, she was very short with her questions/responses and came off very rude. In the end, they did make some great food and everything was correct. **update: after reading some of the other reviews, I decided to downgrade to 3 stars. My bad customer experience was not a one off apparently and the rude woman I described was perfectly described in other reviews.** I always get the Philly with everything. If you ask them to “fireball it” they hose your meat down with jalapeño juice while they cook it to give it some extra flavor and a bit of a kick. Top that off with whatever topping you like and the cayenne pepper sauce if you like spicy food. They used to have the hot sauce at the counter but all I found there was BBQ sauce but they did give me some in a little plastic container upon request. For me, the sauce really makes the Philly and brings it all together. Overall, still love the Philly here… hope to have a better customer experience next time but based on other reviews, I won’t count on it.

Ive got hosently say this place use to be grate before covid since then your employes are very rude Theres a girl there with tatoo think she owns the place I came to find out from my daughter she was very rude to my daughter when her brother took her out she was visting us from sioux falls This just wrong u as an employe got know right to treat my kids with discrescept or anyone that u serve as a costumer this my first time with this pearson she did it mulityp times I pay good money here if im going pay 10 for a sandwich i want else pepers onions on my sandwich this crazy u tell me you can only put a tiny bite on there and not a lot I dont belive your manger would agree with u When i came in again i asked for the same thing but i would pay extra i told another girl You wear rude to hear maybe thats why so many people are quiet cause that one pearson her attitude stinks She not nice to anyone This use to be a frieandly reasturant what happen To all the nice employes this girl needs to be stop i wished i got her name Im sorry i didnt But the one thing is i cant still belive she works there this a sad thing you want keep your cousterms comeing back fix the problem The girl tatoo says Steve i think some guys name on it

I had the juiciest most delicious philly cheesesteak. I told em to add the peppers, mushrooms and onions and my stomach agreed it was amazing! Lots of great options, always great!

This place was awesome! Authentic cheesesteak! Lived on east coast for ten years. Great sandwich fries were fat hot and delicious. They had free BBQ sauce for my fries. Happiness and joy. Full tummies, smiling faces. Staff very helpful and professional.

Really good prices for such a delicious meal. I had a steak philly cooked in Jalapeno juice, topped with queso, jalapenos, and onions that were absolutely incredible. The philly was overly stuffed with steak to the point I had to take the remainder of the sandwich home with me. There were straw wrappers and various other debris scattered on the floor, so that was a little unsettling. The prep area, cooking station, and condiment area appeared to be well maintained and clean. The staff were quick, accurate, and friendly.

Used to love this place... worst service EVER 9-17-22 bread wasn't fresh and smashed in front of us.. cheese put on after done and didn't melt properly... sink in bathroom was plugged up too! I don't even mind the rude employees

Place was empty, we stood there for about 5 minutes before an employee even looked out. Was less than thrilled we were there. Other employee finally came out and then she acknowledged we were even there. We order... ... ... Oh then she asks again what veggies?. So we repeat... ... Took about 6minutes as our food sits in the boxes for us to pay. Door dash gentleman was very patient while we're all standing there in awe of what was happening. Food was gross didn't complain as I'm not sure they even cared. Needs new management and clean it back up. Filth was everywhere. Used to be a go to for us but not anymore.

I used to really like this place, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment lately.The chicken was dry and flavorless, and the roll was stale. the changes they made include the chicken product and giving 3 slices of cheese instead of 4 previously. the dining area is cold and uninviting.

The Famous Philly Sandwich was delicious! I'm visiting from California, and will definitely be back :-)

Great food, but expensive. We got two steak phillys, a cheese fry, and two drinks and it came to $40. The hell??! Staff was friendly. Soda tastes lousy too. Place is freezing inside, wear a jacket.

Horrible. Food was next to bland very cold cheese wasn’t thoroughly melted. Onions bell peppers banana peppers were all very hard and crunchy. No sogginess to the sub by far bread was hard almost a miracle my teeth aren’t chipped. I’m from the dirty south I know what good food taste like and this is not it.

It was pretty clean and a quiet time of day. The food was wonderful. The gals working really did not want to talk to us. They were talking to each other. There was only one garbage can and I think we were expected to clean off our own table!?

I never really had a complaint about the food here, it's good for the most part. Don't think I've ever seen the same crew behind the counter, tells me management and/or owner sucks...simply because of the high turn over rate on employees. Restaurant itself is decent, could be cleaner but it's not horrible.

One of the first things I noticed, when walking in. Was alot of the tables where dirty, an had food on them. One we went to get our food, an order the Customer service was horrific. No smile, or energy in any conversation couldn't even make eye contact. Once we all sat an ate, an there was like 8 of us. 4 people had order chicken. All the chicken tasted bad, was soggy, an old tasting. Eatring our food, an leaving. Probs won't come back

Showed up an half an hour before they closed and one person said that it would take ten minutes and the other person came over and was like it’s going to take an hour to heat the grill back up and we just cleaned it. It’s a half hour before you close, you shouldn’t be cleaning already. Unacceptable.

Great food, would of appreciated more mushrooms than the 3 that I got on my sandwich. Tables are always dirty and we eat there at least once a week. Employees are nice

First time there, went with the Philly Cheese Steak, very tasty. Fries were fresh, they seem to make them as they're ordered. Would stop again.
