Great early dinner stop on our way to Yellowstone! Judy had the Walleye and I the Butterfly Shrimp, both were excellent as was the fresh, cold salad and fixings from the salad bar!

Always a good place for breakfast...almost like a truck stop. Good food, good service and friendly staff. A favorite for breakfast for the wife and I. A bit run down, but clean and comfortable.

Nice place. I had the walleye dinner and tried a chili roll......... That was interesting. The server was attentive and the place was very clean. Definitely worth the stop.

Passing through town and glad to find this 24 hour treasure! It’s not Michelin starred, but it’s good food at good prices. Our server Nicole set the standard for kindness and just being plain awesome. The world needs more people like here! The ribs were fantastic and the Banana Cream pie is now my favorite dessert. Thank you to everyone who works here to make it a great dining experience at a good price!

Our waitress was very understanding. She was respectful and friendly. She truly went above and beyond! She had to add another meal due to my husband's allergies. She was so kind about it! Clean place to eat with staff that goes out of their way to make sure you are truly enjoying your meal!

While staying nearby for a couple of days, we decided to try this restaurant due to close approximately of our hotel and reviews. The food is great! The breakfast was so good we decided to try out dinner, they didn't disappoint! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely sit down brunch after the dentist. The waitress was wonderful, even put my son's order in so he could eat right away and brought him colors and a dinosaur paper. The food was delicious and fresh! The salad bar looked fantastic and fresh, I didn't have any but sure wanted to. All in all 10/10

It's been three years since I have eaten here. I will be coming to Sioux Falls in a few weeks for a family visit. I will be stopping here before my wife and I leave to come back home to VA. I have some really good memories at this restaurant. The food is almost always perfect, I have never had to send anything back to the kitchen when it comes to my food or drink. I miss the salad bar sooooooooooo freaking much. I can't find anything like it out here, and it drives me bananas.

Comfortable Midwest diner open 24 hours. Generous servings. Unfortunately, they don't offer much choice for those with restricted diets. I paid $13 for a chicken breast and bun. Waitress was nice. Had my GI track been more amiable, I would have tried the knoephle soup.

The strawberry lemonade was delicious. The food tasted just like grandma's home cooking. The restaurant itself was a little dated, but the service was outstanding, thank you Shirley!

Everything was great! I did have to call to have them put the garlic butter on the side for my salmon because they don't accept notes on the door dash app. They also forgot my salad, but I was full anyway.

Our server Sarah gave us the best service out of all the restaurants we have ever been to. She checked in on us regularly, asked us about any sides we needed, recommended great options, and gave us to go cups with our drinks without being asked. She is great and made our breakfast wonderful!

We always grab breakfast here when we’re in town. Daisy and Sara are the best servers! Food is always good and hot! The only criticism we have is the coffee. It’s very watery and extremely weak. No flavor, just like droning hot water with a little coffee flavor. Please find a better coffee supplier.

Nicole is the best server we have had in a long time. She is awesome! We come in on Monday nights for the good food and awesome service she provides. Definitely a great place to eat.

We met a friend there for dinner. Food & service very good. We visited, didn't feel rushed. Recommend the Sour Cream Raisin pie!!! Just like homemade, crust and all!

I'm giving them hi marks for John who is an excellent Mangr showing superb customer service. Certain items are very good. Not everything is. Great Vegetable Beef soup. Pies and Muffins, Pot Roast, Mozzarella Sticks, Shrimp. All very hood.

Place is always on point. I go all the time. Guaranteed to be full. Everything I've tried is good and pretty fast. I go for lunch regularly. In and out in thirty mins for a sit down meal without rushing is pretty good. O and don't forget all you late-nighters and early morning people, it's 24/7! What's not to love??

This place highly recommended from the locals. Since we were getting ready to leave early the next day we decided to order in. Well, food was decent however no utensils were given. My fault I guess thought I order a grilled breast dinner but it was a sandwich with no condiments. The delivery person obviously can't read.. told them to knock.. didn't so they missed out on their tip. The experience was not the best... might give them another chance dont know

I’ve been to a different location, so with my mom in town I figured we could go to Fryn Pan. Service was good at first, but then when we got our food we were basically dismissed. We had taken 1-2 bites out of our burgers and our server slipped the check on our table. My drink was empty the entire time I ate my burger and fries. My mom had coffee and she ended up offering me coffee because our server kept looking at my drink and neglected to ask if I wanted a refill. If I’m paying $2.59 for soda, I should at least get one refill. Once we finished eating, a manager was seating some people and so my mom and I discussed how it would be nice to wash down the taste of my French fries. Our server magically appeared about 3 minutes later asking if we wanted dessert, asked if I wanted a refill, and it was like she completely changed personalities. She ended up being the one to ring us up too and even with my mom reducing her tip because of her mediocre service, she still thanked her while she was writing the tip. As someone who has worked in the food industry, you never ever watch your customers write your tip down. Amanda seemed nice, but she was having a rough day. Our food was really good.

A bit disappointed. We live over on East, but make the drive for this location because it's just better than the others. We ordered a chef salad, something we have gotten many times before with no ham. The salad wasn't very crisp like it usually is, didn't seem as fresh as normal and the portion size was a lot smaller than usual. They didn't put extra turkey which they usually do when we ask for no ham. It was definitely a subpar salad for the price. Staff was super nice and we definitely appreciate that. Not sure we can keep making the drive if the food is that kind of quality.

Very homey feeling to this place. When you dont want fancy and a chill quite place to have a meal, this would be your stop. Loved their French toast. Didn't even need syrup.

This place was an exceptional surprise. We were road tripping with the family and we always like to try something different. This place looked like it would have comfort food but still be a place we don’t have back home. We are so glad we stopped. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. The staff was amazing. I wish I remembered our waiters name because she was fabulous. The portions were great but not Ridonculous. We will definitely go back when next we travel up north.

Exceptional service complementing an overall outstanding experience. The wait staff were attentive to our groups needs and made sure that we had everything that we requested. The food was perfect and ample portions ensured that no one would go home hungry. We'll definitely make this a regular stop whenever we visit Sioux Falls.

Five start service. General management TJ was very attentive, checked on us when our server was busy and he was keeping the ball rolling on getting tables cleared. You don't see that everyday from a manager. Highly recommend this restaurant. Must stop when in Sioux Falls. Classic service and comfort food.

This restaurant has been great anytime I go in there. I just recently ordered a food delivery from them. The restaurant was great but the hired out delivery service was poor at best. I received food cold, and from the wrong restaurant. I drove to the restaurant and they remade my food for me without question even though the delivery was not their fault. I appreciate your customer service.

Very very good service and flavorful filling food, waitress was amazing, buffet was filled and scrumptious. Very well recommended. For sure, met my parents there for the past 6 months they came to town from Pierre and this is the ONLY place they'll go.

Just wanted some home style food and found it near my hotel. Family owned with diner fare from chicken fries to burgers and sandwiches. I had a delicious home made chicken pot pie. Their salad and soup bar is amazing and glad to see one still open. Nice friendly service. Will definitely return when back in town.

They have one of the best servers there I don't remember her name but she's a very kind lady very sweet and she has the calmest voice. She has been our server more than once and she makes us feel very welcomed when we're there. We also don't mind coming here because of the food it may not be top-notch food that you'd find at a five-star quality restaurant but it feels like a home cooked meal! If you choose a frying pan to eat at please choose this one especially at the night shift because that server works the nights and she's very hard-working and will make you feel at home!
