The lady that runs this place is a very nice, hard working lady who takes pride in her work and what she does. People should try to understand that different cultures speak and come off differently and it doesn't necessarily mean they are rude. The language is different and can come off short and rude, but its a language and culture difference. She didn't have a phone when she grew up and didn't have the means to communicate before she came to America like we Americans have. She has always provided fresh and delicious food and always says thank you for coming to see her. This is the only Chinese food place we will eat at and the experience has always been great! She has a 4.5 overall rating and I think that speaks for itself 😊

Avoid this place, ordered online for pickup, 3 entrees ordered and one set of chopsticks in bag. Food was disgusting. Was told "seafood is more expensive"... seriously for what was pictured! No sauce on pad Thai, no lime, slices of pea pod!?! gross gross gross! Close your doors, you should be ashamed. $75 wasted 😩

Fong the owner is a sassy and amazing woman who serves the best Chinese Vietnamese cuisine that I've ever had. Thank you Fong for the laughs and advice 💜 we will be returning every time we're in town.

Absolutely love coming here. Best Crab Rangoon in town, great Pho, and I really love the Kung Pao Chicken. Service is always great. They work so hard here and really care about the quality of food and service they provide. I've been dining here for nearly 15 years, and it's always a treat coming here to enjoy their cooking.

I stopped in for lunch and had the hot and sour soup with some kung pao chicken. Both were tasty, although some pieces of chicken were a little chewy. The service was great as the lady who helped me was friendly and funny 🙂 This is a place I will probably visit again.

The crab rangoon, egg rolls, and kung pao chicken were delicious as always. Love the take out option. Thank you!

Would give 0 stars. Ordered 3 meals (was told $14 ea) , 2 orders of crab Rangoon(I think she said $12) and 5 Chinese egg rolls (was told 1.75 ea). My husband picked up food and was told $125!!! Seriously lady, you have us prices on the freaking phone!!! My husband said no way is he paying that and was walking out when she finally came down to $75. My husband did pay that but these people are crooked!!! She called him hotel guy when he said must be wrong order, so she knew we were probably from out of town and thought she could rip us off. Also, you won’t find a menu with prices in the restaurant so you better ask prices while on the phone!! Bad business!!! She also very rude! Shocker!! I should’ve checked reviews before ordering!! So shady!! Can’t wait to see response!! Edit: I guess I was a little off on price, but pretty close. Sorry I didn’t write them down, I didn’t expect such dishonestY. This has never happened to me. Also, we only ordered 2 crab Rangoon not three unless you ripped me off by only giving me 2 orders!?! Either way, you did try to over charge us at least $65 and we would never recommend your business to other travelers. Also, you certainly are a rude person which is quite clearly shown on your responses to all reviews here!!

This place is literally a scam. Overpriced for absolutely no reason, and for very small portions. She steals money from you if you don't take your food because of quality and service. She started screaming at us in the middle of the restaurant in front of the whole dining room.

Rip off!!! What's pictured is EXACTLY what we got! How does this place get such good reviews. The portions are ridiculously small. Fried rice? What? $50 for nothing! I am actually angry. JUST. DON'T!

Dynasty is Delicious! My favorite is the orange chicken and my wife’s is the chicken chow mein. Everything always tastes fresh and the veggies are crisp and flavorful. I really like the hot and sour soup too. Highly recommend! Added some pictures of some takeout Orange chicken and Hot and Sour soup.

Rude and bad service. Seemed disappointed that she was busy. Horrible attitude. Over charged me and didn't explain that there would be an extra charge for replacing rice with french fries for my autistic son. My bill was outrageous. 105.88 for 4 people. I am a single mom and would have chosen differently for our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve had I known it would be that expensive. She stole money(cash) from me at check out and said I must be "on something" because I dropped a pen. And then shorted me cash while she thought I was distracted picking up the pens I dropped. Thanks for taking advantage of me during the holidays. 😓😥

Do not eat here. Stop giving this place great reviews. These people are crooks. Read the other reviews they are true. Totally robbed me on Christmas Eve and accused me of being on something. This lady is a crooked liar. Take accountability for your actions lady. Grow up.

Started with spicy sour soup—tasty. Then ordered the Vietnamese lettuce/noodle bowl with egg roll cut in pieces on top. Everything fresh, authentic and delicious. Service great. Will definitely return. Addendum 9-14-2024: Today I again solo dined as I love the lettuce rice noodle bowls. I had left my favorite summer wrap here last time, have literally looked high and low for it, snd she held and returned to me today. She is so thoughtful!

This was the worst Chinese food I ever had and it was overly priced, they screwed up our order too. On top of that, their customer service was horrendous! The lady at front was extremely rude to me, she questioned me why not to order two special meals and she snapped at me for no reason when I politely asked her how long the wait was. Do not waste your money there!

So I've been eating here regularly since about 1999. And I've been lucky enough to travel throughout the United States. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant anywhere for a few reasons. The ingredients are very good quality, fresh, and the cooking style is very clean. A lot of Chinese restaurants you go to, they use artificial flavor for the sauces or the food is really greasy or salty or drowning in sauce — there's none of that here. They make their own Sweet and sour sauce, and they enhance the soy sauce that they buy bulk. I particularly like how they use small shrimp, which has a firm texture and a good flavor. The vegetables are fresh and perfectly sautéed, crunchy but not raw. The General Tso's chicken has dark meat and a hot crispy breading and is coated in just the right amount of orange sauce. The crab Rangoon has a very pleasing cream cheese flavor with spices, the wonton wrapper molded into a flower shape and deep-fried. Each dish has its own sauce, so if you order Da Chin Chicken or Kung-Pao Beef or Shrimp and Chicken Szechuan-style, each one of these has a brown sauce, but each one is made completely different, with different flavors. I don't know if this is "authentic Chinese" but it's definitely artisan cooking. The service is very fast so your food comes out hot within minutes. I think the prices are remarkably low. I've paid triple this in large cities when the meal wasn't as good. Downsides? Nothing significant. They don't offer as many types of beer as they used to, and they don't have a hard liquor license. They don't have any Cambodian influences, would love me a Bangkok chicken dish....but the Vietnamese bun (bowls) are absolutely delicious and they do have pad Thai and Pho soup. I've never had a bad customer service experience here. These people have been in the United States for decades now, they have a very hard-working straight-forward all-business approach. Looking for some of the tastiest Asian food anywhere? This is it.

I love the outlook & Setting of this Place. Personally, I will happily recommend this place to all my friends. I wish there was one more server to help the Lady who has been really hustling, seeming to run everything out front!!! I have been back there a multiple times Dine in and Takeout! noticing customer that are RUDE not taking in consideration that it is ONE older lady moving around doing basically everyting. To anyone that decides on this place, come with a smile and ready to laugh!, Takeout- call ahead, especially in the evenings. I love our server, The humor is true to heart and I find it awesome! Thank you! for the great experiences. If you think she is shouting, remember people are allowed to talk loud and sometimes that is the communication between them and their repeated customer!! 😁 10/10 place.

Great food my to go place to eat. Owner is a gen-x so she can be a bit blunt but friendly if you have soft skin then you're in for a loop lol. Fast service very nice place to eat. From what I've noticed she doesn't get much help out front expect one waitress that works part time. Again great place to eat an I would recommend a try.

Perfect place for a delicious lunch. Mom, my sister, and I came in craving some good Asian food. Chinese and Vietnamese was an amazing choice. Pho was fresh, hot, and brilliantly flavored. Pot stickers were tasty and home made, Fresh rolls were FRESH not the hardened rolls you get at other FSD restaurants. The Bun was crispy, crunchy, and delicious. Fortune cookies were even fresh. Best place in town Pho Sure!

Would have said 5 stars, but after I left the initial review, we got our ticket. I saw the prices for pho were 12.99 on menu. Our ticket was $62 when we left. I did the math over and over, and it just doesn’t add up. Both husband and I had V5 pho (he did ask for extra meat and bean sprouts, and I asked for less noodles), potstickers, two waters and Thai tea. Disappointed in the scandalous way the lady increased our ticket 😪

Fong is the best Had v21 chicken salad add curry. The best salad I’ve ever eaten. I seriously could eat it every day! Never had a bad meal or experience at this place. Totally worth the trip from anywhere in town.

My dad and I have been going to this restaurant for over 18 years! This restaurant has the best Chinese and Vietnamese food in town! I always recommend it to my friends whenever I can. The food is great! Large portions are served at a fair price. The egg drop soup and the pork with mixed veggies and baby corn are our personal favorites! The owner is amazing. She always greets customers with a smile. She’s very friendly and kind! I highly recommend going to this restaurant!

Dynasty took care of me when I lived in Sioux Falls, when I moved to a town 1 hr. away, and now that I’ve moved across the state. It’s still the restaurant of comfort I find time to go to. I was remembered for my order today V21 (vermicelli chicken) & fresh spring rolls. It’s been a couple years since being in, and my order was remembered and my side of hot sauce. This is my go-to for comfort and couldn’t recommend this place more! Simple, always consistent, fresh ingredients… I find I’m always happier after visiting. HIGHLY recommend. Also— spring rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Warm, made fresh, and always delivers. Wish I had Dynasty closer to home, but when I’m back in Sioux Falls on the west side of town, I’ll be swinging by for my piece of comfort food and to support a local business that always delivers.

We LOVE the food here. We've been eating here for over two decades! We always order Vietnamese soup and salad, as well as the spiring rolls. The food is fresh and the service is fast. The owner/server is friendly and outspoken. She's hilarious. 😁

My husband stopped in to grab an order to go. We had never tried this place before even though we used to live in the area. The food was great, not salty. The egg rolls were wonderful. They were the kind that have actual cabbage in them and not the mushy ground up stuff you usually find in the freezer aisle like some Chinese restaurants serve. My husband said the lady was so nice on the phone taking his order and when she found out it was birthday, she gave him a piece of chinese candy to bring home to me. Great service and great food!

  • 5/5 Shawna 2 years ago on Google
We love this place. The Pho is better than anywhere else in town with fresh crisp bean sprouts and jalapeños, the fresh spring rolls are full and tasty and come with enough peanut sauce, not a tiny little side and the Chinese food is hot, fresh and delicious every time, not too sweet, not too salty. The Adorable Lady that runs the place is as efficient as she is funny. Dynasty is my first choice every time we’re in Sioux Falls.

A fantastic experience for me and family. They offered to put the sauce on the side for my daughter, which she appreciated. Most unique is the spill proof cups for the kids drinks. They worked great.

Best Geral Tso's Chicken in the city. I would prefer the sauce was a little thicker and a bit better serving. Yet the chicken was perfect and the balance of sweet and spicy was on point. My lips tingle a little, but it was amazing. I'm ready for seconds.

  • 5/5 Scott L. 1 year ago on Google
I have been eating here since 2008. I left Sioux Falls in 2011; however, every year I visit my family in the area I always stop by this restaurant for lunch or dinner. The food is exceptional with outstanding customer service. Food is clean and the restaurant is very inviting. I went here today with my wife and we were treated like family. And, our server still remembered me after all of these years! Thank you for the memories.

If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant, and you were craving Chinese never, and I repeat, never go here. Our experience started walking into the restaurant. No other customers were there. We grabbed our very dirty menus that were sitting at the front table with a sign. We were the only ones. There was waitress in the corner yelling how tired she was. After five minutes or so she decided to come to the table to ask us our order. After ordering she then served my daughters and I waters. The straw looked like somebody took black grease in the inside and splattered orange pop on the lid. I at that point was ready to leave, but wanted to stay and give them the benefit of the doubt after serving us our appetizers I asked her if she had a busy day because she had told us how tired she was. She then proceeded to yell at me in a very firm tone “ I’m so tired don’t ask me all these questions. You come eat and sit and be by yourself don’t talk to the server, Oh yeah, you see all these people in this restaurant a table over there for four over there and over here I mean why you asked me if I am so busy today. How dare you don’t talk to me anymore” at this point, I could not believe that she was speaking to me this way. I told her you know what go ahead and keep your order. Will eat these appetizers and pay for them and go so you can rest. She then walked away in a kind, voice yelling ever so loudly. “I know your meal about done I got to get your meal you pay for your meal” I really just wanted to walk out but I just sat there. After receiving our meals, she proceeded to carry-on. She then explained to my three-year-old who said oh this chicken is hot she “oh honey yes, this is a hot meal not like the peanut butter sandwich your mom make you every day for lunch this hot.” I then responded with excuse me, but I am a stay at home mother and I feed my children, home-cooked hot meals daily. How dare you say that to my kids? I cannot believe first off how rude she was, and then second off to offend me in front of my children. The food was terrible. It was hot, had no flavor, and after my experience with her and the dirty menus and cup and the way she treated me I was uncomfortable, even eating a meal. After bringing our ticket, I told her that she made me so uncomfortable that I would never be back, and I cannot believe she would speak to her customers that way. She said, “ I just speak it like it is “ well, so do I MAM and I will speak to every person who asked me where to go for Chinese not to go to your restaurant. While I paid for the meal which cost us $46 with no tip. It was the worst $46 waste of money that I ever spent in my life. I will tell everybody about how awful my experience was here.

Not sure how this place has such great reviews…I understand times are tough but everything pictured was 75$. Every entree that had meat in it had the bare minimum of meat and was mostly vegetables. It also lacked flavor and it seemed like the only sauce used for seasoning was soy sauce. I can get behind spending 75$ on take out but it better be worth it and it better taste better than my normal 40$ Panda Express. The lady was rude on the phone but apparently that’s just her based on other people’s reviews.

Service… 10/10! We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy, so the lady who served us chatted us up! She is so kind and funny! She made us feel so welcome and she let my son take extra straws! She recommended things to us- with spot on accuracy to what we liked! The food was amazing! It came quickly! I highly recommend!!!!!

As is usual we had a wonderful visit to our favorite Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant in the area. Having lived in the neighborhood for many years Dynasty has always been a family favorite! Now that we live 90 miles away we try to get in and get our fix as often as we can! We start off with the best homemade spring rolls in the universe. Coupled up with the peanut sauce on the side it’s a great way to start off your meal. We did the Family Dinner for the two of us. I had king pao chicken and Lyn had da Chen chicken. With the family meal you also get tasty soups. We had egg drop and hot and spicy. To add to our pleasure we managed to eat our wontons and egg rolls. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Once we ate our fill our wonderful waitress/owner bagged up our leftovers for our trip back home. I assure you it will become our dinner this evening!
