This will likely be long. I was going to wait until after the stay was over but things have progressively gotten worse. The only 2 pros that I can say about this hotel is that it's somewhat clean and the view is nice from our side of the hotel. From the moment I attempted to check in Cole was rude, condescending, and inflexible. My family is traveling for Shriners and both the local Shriners office and I confirmed the rate of $84 all taxes included. Upon check-in, it was $114. I came to find out later that they were tacking an *extra 20%* into the room for "City and State Taxes." I was told that taxes were included but regardless of that fact, Lodging Tax is not effective in SD until June and there are zero State Taxes in SD. (I live on the other side of the State.) Both Cole and the man who was working overnight told me that that is "half their normal rate" despite easily using Google to find rates run around $80/night. Upon entering our room, as I said, it was clean. This was partly due to the only 2 items available being a phone and Christian Bible. The refrigerator was unplugged and warm. The bathroom door in the room does not even close, much less lock. The lock on the entrance door is also misaligned and is futile and unusable. The beds are unimaginably hard. Not firm, Flintstones hard. By contrast, the pillows are tiny and flatten so badly they are ineffectual. Even with twelve pillows they didn't create enough support for 4. The Wi-Fi also does not work well at all. While there is no password, that means streaming anything is out of the question. Even mobile games were unplayable due to how slow it was. The customer service we received was unacceptable and even if all my review accomplishes is one person choosing a better hotel, it was worth it.

Hotel staff was wonderful. Room was spacious and very clean. Parking leaves much to be desired but other than that it was a nice place. Their continental breakfast was AMAZING.

Wonderful stay! I highly recommend the Country Inn & Suites in Sioux Falls. Location is close to walking distance of downtown, restaurants, shopping & entertainment. Easy drive from the highway. Clean, spacious & comfortable room. The staff were Wonderful! Very professional, friendly & helpful. Sharon the breakfast hostess was awesome! I would stay here again just because of her. 😄 Bacon, sausage & gravy were perfect per my husband. She is also a great source of local history & a trip advisor. We stayed an extra night because of all the things she told us about to visit. We would stay here again!

This hotel is at the best location possible at a walking distance from most attractions. The building is a bit old and the rooms could use some upgrading/renovations. For example, there were some unattractive cracks in the shower with a big chunk of chipped paint. Having said that, the rooms are spacious, clean, and quite comfortable. The staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast that's included in the booking is actually very good and delicious. I especially loved the mini omelettes and the scrambled eggs and the sausages. Overall, this is a good and comfortable hotel. I had a pleasant stay and will recommend it to anyone visiting the area and looking for a really good value for the money.

I believe her name is Emma, at the front desk, gave such exceptional customer service. She was kind, professional and clearly knows exactly how to do her job. Before we had even reached our room I knew we had made a good choice staying. Our room is clean and had a nice view. The overflow parking was helpful and convenient. This was a quick stay for us on the way home but I was so impressed with thr front desk service I wanted to make sure to say something

This hotel met our expectations and then some! We loved our first stay so much we stayed here again on our way back home from our trip! Our rooms had beautiful views of the river, our suite was great with a separate bedroom, we walked for miles around the hotel on trails along the river, every single staff member we dealt with from check in, food service, to the cleaning staff was very friendly and inviting. Breakfast was good the restaurant was Amazing and the staff there was awesome, they made us feel so welcome! We loved that the pool was open late so we could enjoy the town then come back to the hotel and relax in the hot tub, it was a great stay and we will definitely be back!! Thank you!!

Worst service I've ever had at any hotel. Management was disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Manager named "Tanya" should be fired immediately. Tried to commit theft and once caught and confronted, lied, and destroyed my personal property before producing those items without an explanation.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was sparkling clean. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. Very nice ladies at the reception. If someone from the hotel is reading this I would suggest please put your local channels on the TV’s. As a traveler I am interested in a local news, I have a cable news channel at my home like everybody else, but the local news would be felt more away from home and it would be more interesting. Thank you!

Spent one night. Nice location, just a couple blocks to The Levitt and a little farther to the falls, with a nice brewery along the way. Breakfast was decent.

When we first arrived, the tiny parking area in front of the hotel was full. After checking in, we were relieved to know there was an overflow parking lot beside the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. As soon as we got into our room, I received a text from the front desk welcoming us to the hotel and inviting us to reply to the text if we needed anything. There was no alarm clock so we used our phone's alarm. The black-out curtains kept the room nice and dark so we weren't awake at the crack of dawn. There were no traffic noises to keep us awake. Breakfast is served until 9:30am so we didn’t have to get up early to eat. The breakfast attendant was a delightful lady named Sharon. She deserves a huge raise (hint, hint). She greeted everyone as they walked in, kept all the tables cleaned off, and acted more like a waitress than just an attendant. There was the usual cereal, muffins, biscuits, toast, fruit and drinks. The day's hot menu included bacon, omelets with ham, cheese and peppers, and pancakes made from a fancy, new machine. Sharon made sure everyone who stared at the pancake machine knew how to operate it. We don't eat pork as I am allergic to it. Sharon special made cheese omelets just for us. As we chatted with Sharon, she told us how much she loved her job and the boss she works for. Checking out was a breeze! I received another text stating to check-out, all I had to do was respond with the word OUT. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area!

Staff at check in was nice but then tried to charge me $110 even though I booked on the booking app and total price with taxes and fees was $98. And a day later I was still charged more than I should’ve been. Might sound petty because it’s only a few bucks more but it’s the principal. The room is nice but the beds are very firm. Pool and hot tub were dirty, gross looking.

We can't say a lot about the place as we arrived late and left fairly early. Good location to stop at as I do photography as well and wanted to make sure I got some shots in before we headed west. For arriving close to bedtime, the transition to get checked in went smooth and it met our expectations. It made for an easy start to our vacation. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Clean rooms and clean hotel. The hotel features a small pool and hot tub, a small parking lot, a small breakfast area with lots of choices. Wifi was good. All hotel staff were kind and friendly.

The staff is very friendly and the room with the view of the river was nice. However, the beds were uncomfortable and they don’t have actual pillows. Each time someone goes in or out, the door slams and you hear that all through the night, along with the window unit that rattles. The breakfast was great, though.

Excellent locale and good service. Room was clean and well stocked. Full breakfast offered every morning. Only complaint is level of noise emitted thru walls when neighbors showered and heavy footsteps from above by uncouth neighbor.

Parking is most definitely in inadequate and you’ll figure that out as soon as you pull in. Next to mention the sounds echoing through the hallways, if there is ANYone walking in the building on the second and third floor you WILL hear them walking/running. Definitely will not be staying here again 👎🏼 I will let you know how breakfast is in the morning. I wrote the beginning of this at midnight when I could not sleep because of the running in the hallways. This morning no hot water, the seams in the shower are decaying and have black spots on them, shower components are rusted. This hotel is literally a bust. I really DO NOT recommend it if you are trying to get away for a night. Definitely not a good start to my fiancés birthday. Breakfast is as mediocre as any. If you look in my last photo you can see how nasty the grout is in the bathroom floor, by the base of the toilet is “closer” to the color is should be.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for nearly 3 months! Everyone from Housekeeping to Management was AWESOME! They made sure to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The room was clean, free from odors and spacious,, with a river view! The TV channel selection was vast and I was able to enjoy my shows during my time off. The breakfast was REAL BREAKFAST! Bacon, Sausage, eggs, mini omelets, yogurts, fresh fruits, cheese, biscuits, muffins... the list goes on. The rooms are well insulated so much so that I didn't hear the Army of little league football players staying on my floor. It was sad to leave a place where I would see the night shift front desk guys telling me to have a great shift, the morning ladies greeting me when I returned or the Housekeeper giving me a hug when I told her I was finally checking out. Lets not forget the awesome Grill Employees! The cook from Florida always made sure to come out and say hello. Its the little things such as these that make places like this so SPECIAL! Thank you so much Country Inn. You guys have an AWESOME crew there!

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sioux Falls, SD Google review summary 4.2 Very good 687 reviews Rooms 3.7 Location 4.4 Service 4.4 What guests are saying "Comfy bed, good breakfast, great service." "Staff was nice.. but room smelled like cigarettes for some reason" "Our 10 minutes ago on Google If you want actual sleep or are a light sleeper this is NOT the place to be. Absolutely no sleep. The front desk clerk never mentioned nor described this would happen all night long. Also, did not ask if we had a preference on which side of the building we wanted. I wonder if it is street side only? Do you hear these trains on river side of building? The trains come by almost every half hour and blow the horn multiple times. After 5am there were multiple trains until 5:37am, all blew the horns multiple times. I also didn't feel safe with main door being a bit off, very poor quality, a bit on the "cheap" side let lots of light in because the crack it left on edge, gap wide enough to feel unsafe. The bathroom door had a crack on bathroom side. You can see where they tried to patch it up but didnt completely cover it with a white plasti disc. Door is painted beige. Looks like maybe someone punched awhole in the door? The bathroom door seem to be same quality as front door. It says onsight restaurant is a cocktail lounge. I tried to order a cocktail, they only have beer and limited wines. I was excited because we found a place on the river at a good discount since we came in town a little late by the Arc of Dreams and now I can't wait to check out to find something else where I can get some sleep tonight. The bed was fine, they do offer coffe and tea in the room as well as microwave and refrigerator.

Great place to stay for access to downtown and the bike trail. Our rooms were quiet and the breakfast offerings were the best continental that I've ever had. We would stay here again. The parking spots here are small. Most people parked very crooked and there is a high probability of getting door dinged.

We had a very nice stay. The location was great and very walkable for local restaurants and breweries. The breakfast included was also great and very child friendly (high chairs, kid cereal, fruit).

Great location downtown on the Riverwalk. We had a riverview room, which was nice. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Good shower. Nice breakfast. The people at the front desk were friendly, professional, and very helpful! Would definitely recommend this fine hotel!

Nice view of the river, comfortable room! Convenient location even if it gets a little sketchy when you drive a few blocks down the road....that's downtown for ya, not the fault of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!
