It is AWESOME to see a state build up a facility like this. Very wide and stable approaches for wheeled access to the top of the tower. Regular interval flat areas on the way up (850 feet of ramp) where a person can rest before moving on. The entire ramp goes thru the forest canopy so one can see it all up close. No longer do handicapped persons and children in strollers have to miss out on spectacular views from the top!

The new update is great. I love that the original style of the main tower is preserved while also allowing it to be handicapped accessible with a very large ramp. No dogs allowed fyi if you are on a walk/hike with your pooch. You will have to take turns climbing the stairs but the views cannot be beat!

This was a great way to see the coast line and watch the sunset. We went on a hazy day but I could only imagine what a sunset would look like on a clear blue sky day. We paid 10.00 I didn’t have but my kids insisted. I feel like even when a family can’t afford to see nature there should be an opportunity for us to see the park as well. Like pledge a day of picking up trash in your local community and post pictures. Make a effort to help your community out. Something. Getting out in nature shouldn’t cost us money. Now I know one could say, it’s for park maintenance or it pays to protect the park. That’s great! All I want to express is give everyone the same opportunity to see our historical lands. The park is beautiful and a great way to spend the day. Eagles tower is easily accessible we pushed our toddler to the top in her stroller. And everything is super safe.

Absolutely beautiful spot for a hike with parking immediately outside the tower. There are two ways of getting up the tower - the first is a regular stair set and the second is a ramp. The ramp is a very long ramp so you will have to do some walking, but at least it makes it Handicap Accessible. The view - WOW. Once you get to the top, you have an AMAZING view of the surrounding area and it is truly beautiful. If you make it out to this area, I highly recommend this!

Great tower that overlooks Lake Michigan. Has sweeping views across the bay seing Islands and Michigan. Has easy steps to help top or also is accessible with a very long ramp with a slowincline. Parking is limited but there is overflow parking is nearby. A stop to add that is worth it if your in the area.

With an imposing height of 60 feet, the Eagle tower inside Peninsula State Park, Door County, WI, USA is magnificent to say the least. The height of the tower, though seems difficult at first, can easily be accessible by a long wooden ramp with a gentle elevation. If one climbs on top of the wooden tower, whether by the ramp or by the direct wooden stairs, one gets an amazing view of the surroundings. On either side of the ramp there are thick forests with tall trees, the majority of them being deciduous type presents a grand view of the fall colors in the fall season. The bay in front, with its deep blue water is also extremely scenic. The tower should be a must for everyone who visits Door County, whether it is the fall season or not.

THE view 🫶 last year (2022) they created this great wood structure, that you can either use stairs or this accessibility ramp. Look at the weather forecast to have this beautiful blue sky in your pictures or memories 🩵 (Note 1: you don’t need to pay any extra fee for that, just need to have the park sticker.) (Note 2: use the parking lot on the right side for who is entering in the park. Usually the area available in front of wood structure is crowded)

Eagle Tower, great view of the islands and nice to get up high to overlook the park. Great selfie spot The handicap ramp is an impressive feat of engineering. This long path travels along the tree canopy and really gives you a sense of the surrounding grandeur. I am glad that everyone can enjoy the view from here

Two levels to choose from for taking pics and two entrances, one by the stairs and the longer but much nice ramp entrance. You get a nice view of the surrounding area, and even the ramp entrance wooden beam support is kind of fun to look at. Worth on your way to or from the beach.

Eagle Tower was rebuilt and made accessible by a huge ramp. This great and you can still take the stairs if you want but the walk up through the forest canopy is so cool

We come every year in mid October & are always sad to leave. Great hiking/ biking trails. Colors were about halfway to full bloom. The skyline road has great views of Green Bay. Looking forward to next year.

Very nice and impressive structure! We climbed the stairs or you can use the huge walkway ramp from ground level to reach the top. We then walked down the ramp while just about even with the top of the trees. The whole park is awesome and the tower is no exception!!!!

Fantastic views from the tower and the access ramp. Lovely walks in the park. The Eagle Trail has a few natural obstacles which require you to duck under tree trunks and climb down potentially slippery rocks on the path. Good fun, but better you know before you go!

This was my first time in the park and at the tower. It was such a monstrosity, looked like a wooden roller-coaster when we first pulled up. What an amazing thing to have built a ramp for wheelchairs, strollers or anyone who has trouble with steps! The view from the top was spectacular! Being able to see Horseshoe Island from that perspective was amazing! Definitely will be going back!

Beautiful view. You can walk up the steps or the handicap accessible ramp. You do need a park sticker or buy a day pass.
