This is my 3rd Trail of my adventure list . The experience i gained from this beautiful but dangerous natural environment is hard to express. It took me 5 hours to complete the trail. Before starting the trail I recommend you to take a guid with you because they know this place better than you do. They know where to step & where not to. There are many insects from which you need to be careful of…

It was the day of 16 December, 2020 (it was the time of winter). We four brother/friends went to visit Jhorjhori Waterfalls as a great tracking side of Chittagong District. There are minimum six hours you need to come back starting point. We taken a Gide. He was very older. But he given us enjoy lot of and tacking us a new way of hill track. We start walk from starting point and following the way of flowing stream of the fountain. To following stream of the fountain we reached the last step. We had to overcome very risky way to reached last step of the mountain. And when we come back from the last step. We asked to our Gide that we want to go back by a new way. Then he made a new path of on the surface of steep hill by the help of Dagger. This new way more beautiful then our first way and it give us so much enlightens.

The route to the top is about 2 to 3 hours long. Be aware of the leeches. During monsoon, it can be a bit risky for inexperienced trekkers.

Jharjhari waterfall is one of the most dangerous waterfall in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong. With a long way, it takes about 1:30 to 2 hours from the main point to reach the waterfall. A lot of walking is required. During the rainy season, the hilly road is very very dangerous. We went there after rain. So the hilly road was very slippery. There was also a lot of water in the fountain. Which looked amazing. It's very secluded area. If you have no idea about the route, you can hire a local guide there. Charges like 500 TK. Many say girls can't go here. That's not right. Anyone, boy or girl, can go if they have the will. After we reached the fountain it started to rain. So we could not go to the end. Overall, this Jharjhari trail is a great trail for tracking with thousands of fun and adventure.

If you want to visit jhorjhori waterfall you have to start your journey as early morning. You hve to go ponthichila bazar(Sitakundu). From this you can take auto rickshaw or by foot, maximum 10 min by foot you will get rail line. From rail line turn to left and go just 2 min. Then turn right and start walking through field. After 10-15 min you will get the tracking path. If this path is unknown to you then you can take guide with you (200-500)tk. With the guide you have to walk 30-40 min to reach the waterfall that is in a word awesome, mind blowing. For better feeling you have to climb the second step of the waterfall and you will get the real beauty of this waterfall.. Just set your mind to go there and enjoy the beauty.

Jhorjhori is one of the many waterfall located in Ponthichila of Sitakunda Upazila under Chittagong district. If you want to visit this waterfall, this would be one of the longest trails to reach this waterfall. The trail is featured with magnificent waterfall, strong upstream and cascade.
