This is Khamkirri on the banks of the Orange River. A fishermans paradise. Awesome service and Restaurant. Views that take your breath away.The place to be definitely!

We visited Kamkiri next to the Orange River and had such a lovely time it is close to Augrabies water falls and we enjoyed the swimming pool and camping. River was too full to catch any fish.

My first visit to the Orange River Wine Route. Was amazed at how many wineries and how much industry and livelihood a river can produce. The Valley is lush and fertile in the middle of the Northern Cape Karoo desert area.

Went to Orania. Never seen such a clean town. Not one paper lying around. Very friendly people. Great coffee. Picnic ares next to river was spot less all the braai areas in perfect working condition

Very hot, but you are in a semi desert, so to be expected. River was in flood, but now only full and fast flowing. Beautiful landscapes.

Where to start?? If you want peace and quiet, the Orangeriver is the place to be. If you want to find your self, the Orangeriver is the place to be. Listen to the river, I'll bet you will forget all your problems. The flow of the river over the rocks in the water, the cry of a fish eagle in the distance, what more do you need. Just forget about the busy city life and enjoy nature for a few days. You have nothing to lose. Just remember. Leave it the same way you found it.

It's the Orange River... What can I say... You have to experience it to know.
