UPDATE 09/2023: Thorsten is still the absolute best! I have been going to him for roughly a year and I always feel amazing afterwards. He creates such a comfortable environment and listens to feedback. He always follows up to ensure that his pressure and pace are favorable. When I informed him of some discomfort in my lower back, he ensured that he implemented various supports with each session to relieve the pressure. I respect and trust his opinions and suggestions. I highly recommend him and will always sing his praises! —— Original Post: Thorsten is the absolute best! I got a massage for the first time last year and he was the therapist assigned to me - needless to say, I have not regretted it at all! He is very attentive, communicative, and always makes sure I am comfortable throughout the session.

Not the best experience today. My appointment time was 10 AM. I was not sent a text message until 10 AM saying I could come in. I waited approximately 5 minutes in the waiting room to be greeted by Sylvia. We then discussed a plan for the massage for about two minutes and another 2-3 minutes to undress. I am now 10 minutes into my session and it has not started yet. Sylvia then ended the session short six minutes.. 10:54AM- adding up to approx.15 minutes that were taken out my 60 minute massage making it 45 min. I then noticed Sylvia left for lunch break… My point is, the customer should be invited in prior to the appointment so it starts on time or minutes should be added to a session, and then not cut short for someone’s lunch break.

Thor has been my guy for a number of years and always does a great job. His effort and commitment to making me feel better is all you can ask for. My Sister and I have had Thor working on us for a few years. Always works super hard on us to make sure we are always better than when we walked in. Happy he is there for us.

I love this Massage Envy. Claudia is a great manager and Silvia and Alicia are amazing Massage Therapists. I recently had my first facial and I am hooked! Angie was lovely and knowledgeable and I can't wait for my next session!

I have been going to this particular Massage Envy for a few years to see Jahn and Johnny. Both are excellent therapists: they listen to your needs and what your body is telling you that you need in order to ensure that they are giving your body the therapy (and relief!) that it needs. Their massage styles are not for the faint of heart though; they are both the real deal for firm to deep massages. I always feel relieved whenever I go because they are able to target the knots that they can in the time given. Thank you both so much for everything!

Victor is an excellent massage therapist. He listens to what I say before my sessions, but also ‘listens’ to my body and adjusts where it is needed. I always leave feeling amazing.

Viktor is the best! Every time I go to him I know I am leaving feeling so much better. He is a true professional that has mastered his craft.

Sylvia always keeps pressure consistent throughout the entire massage and gets to areas I ask to focus on. With all the standing and physical labor I do at work. I always try to book with her because I feel so much better, especially the day after!

Miranda customized my facial to my face and my needs. She always checked my comfort level. She was knowledgeable without being pushy about the products.

Thorsten always does a great job at finding where the most tension is. I love that he incorporates sports massage, which works best for me. He also provided a lot of relief for my father who has been suffering from sciatica for months.

Silvia was terrible! She pressed so hard on my glute that I couldn’t lift my leg up for 2 weeks after my massage. I told her to focus on my shldrs and she did very little of that. I’m so dissatisfied

Stephani has a real gift. Her hands bring great healing. I highly recommend her.

I have been scheduling sessions with Viktor every two weeks for a couple of months now and my experience has been great. He is able to identify trouble areas and focus on them, consistently asking for feedback on the pressure he applies. Since visiting, I have been in significant less pain and I am able to recover from my workouts more quickly.

Jahn gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable and in tune with what my body needed. He is a true professional! I will definitely be back to this location because of him.

I want to start by saying the staff here is nice and knowledgeable. Silvia did a great job with the deep tissue massage. Felt great afterwards and received good advise on taking care of my muscles better. I would recommend Silvia and give her a 10 out of 10 rating.

Johnny was great! He listened to me and focused my massage on the target areas I was concerned about. I left Massage Envy feeling long necked and well stretched. It’s a great feeling when you feel heard. Johnny was great and I will be back to see him again soon. I highly recommend Massage Envy services at Park Ridge.

Loved my massage! It was the best one I've had in a long while! She was very cautious, precise & skilled. She did alot of new techniques that I really enjoyed. Sometimes it seems like they follow a format, but she didn't; it was very much customized to what I needed. And I was late, but feel like she covered alot. Loved her & will be coming back! 💆‍♀️😁

I’ve been to several ME locations. This one is my fav! It starts with the admin staff Angie and Lexi are friendly, professional and sooo helpful for keeping me scheduled. Then it comes to why I go there. I call Silva the Doctor! She is more than just a massage provider, she is therapist! I have been recovering from an injury and I have made sooo much progress under her care. She is very knowledgeable and the perfect amount of pressure! The massage was amazing so the stars are for Elena. The front desk staff not so knowledgeable. I arrived at the location and a staff member watched me get out of my car parked in front of the door and met me at the door to let me in. Unbeknownst to me I parked in a space that was no parking after 4pm. My appointment was at 3:30 needless to say I got a $50 ticket. It would have been nice if he had told me about the parking. Then at the checkout I used a gift card for 158 and the girl said it was only for the $125. I asked her to check it as the card jacket said 158. She looked further and said oh yeah ok . I said to apply the rest to the tip so I hope that Elena got the $33. I was not that confident in the front desk person’s skills.

I've been getting massages with massage envy for a couple of years, but my massage yesterday Jahn at the Park Ridge was the best massage I've had. I've been a nurse for 5 years both bedside and now in a desk role which is causing it's own set of problems with long hours of sitting and Jahn was able to pinpoint problem areas that I wasn't even aware of from having bad posture and sitting all day with long commuting time causing knee problems as well. He was so informative that this massage felt like a physical therapy session where he gave me tips and exercises to help improve these issues. Besides all that, he was super funny and was always checking if the pressure was okay. He went above and beyond even though this was his last massage of the day, so I'm sure he was tired, but I love giving people credit who do 110%. This man needs a raise. Thanks Jahn!

Love this Massage Envy. Firstly the front desk gal, and I should have asked her name, is always so customer focused whether in the phone or in person. Also my therapist is awesome! Johnny is keeping me healthy so I can enjoy all of what I love like yoga and hiking!

Thor has been my therapist for a couple of years now. I have an old back injury that needs constant work and gets aggravated by my daily routine easily. His skill set is the best that I have encountered and I always feel relief from pain after a session. Grateful for Thor!

I used the app to schedule online and it was so easy and allowed me to sort by the massage therapist I prefer. Viktor is amazing! He is so friendly and professional - checking to see if there are any areas that need specific work and ensures the pressure is good throughout the session.

My massage therapist Thore is great. However, the Management can use some more training on how to treat clientele. I have often found them uninviting and unengaging. As an example, I arrived yesterday for my appointment, and I received no greeting no engagement until after a few minutes past my appointment time I asked when Thor would be out. I was told he would be coming. However, I found that not acknowledging me With greeting from the moment I walked in Or saying, I’ll be with you in a moment, was rather off-putting. Your service business you need to take the best possible care of your clients, and always acknowledge their presence and respect their time. This is not my first experience of this type at the store.
