Visiting from Los Angeles and came in with my daughter for dinner. We loved it so much that we ate there two nights in a row. The pasta with pink sauce was dreamy. Meatballs were so soft and delicious! Festive place on Friday night. Great staff; it was so busy but they were still nice! Love this place. We will be back!

I'm so extremely grateful 🙏 I found this adorable Italian 🍕 restaurant to enjoy a light lunch. I attended a cranial sacral workshop at Zen Shiatsu just a block away and the owner took wonderful care of me providing me with prompt service so I wouldn't be late for part 2 of my half day seminar. I ordered a simple lunch menu item of rigatoni with broccoli 🥦 and a side salad and everything was not only presented beautifully but tasted fresh, light and delicious. The spumoni Gelato was also quite good and for the lunch price a perfect value for the money. I will definitely be back next time I return to Evanston. This cute Italian bistro is cozy, welcoming and the menu has a wide variety of pasta options from inexpensive to reasonably priced.

It's small gem of a place that we came across on our couple's weekend lunch. Unassuming but cute.This place has good service and good food.my Salman was done just right and Tiramisu could hold its own in Tiramisu world. 👍👍

This is one of my favorite Italian spots. Restaurant is decorated cute and it’s very cozy. I love the rigatoni pasta with broccoli! Just the right flavor of garlic and olive oil and just really yummy. Grilled New York Strip also was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The service is always excellent! Everything about this place is a 10.

This establishment is very wonderful. It's a nice and cozy place, with a peaceful yet comfortable atmosphere. The service is wonderful, and the food is amazing. The servers are very polite and quick to answer any questions you mave have about the menu. I would highly recommend this place as a hidden gem of Evanston.

Perfect spot for an afternoon glass of chilled sparkling wine. Hanging flower baskets Trattoria DEMI evokes the european ambiance at the tiny sidewalk outdoor seating patio ( 8 tables). Mouth watering Classic Italian dishes taste even better with gentle Italian tunes in the background. And then they threw me out

A wonderful small authentic Italian restaurant that reminded me of my travels in Italy. The angel hair was delicate and sauce heavenly. The gnocchi with chicken was exquisite. Wonderful and attentive service.

I can’t believe it took me this long to get around to this place. Almost immediately walking in, the place is welcoming and just adorable. I love how lively the room is, as the decor and music is very fitting. We got a table as soon as we walked in, and started with table bread and mussels. The bread was so soft and warm. The mussels had such a rich, creamy sauce and the mussels were pretty cooked perfectly. For entre, i got the lunch special italian sandwich on focaccia, and this is probably one of the best italian sandwiches i have had. The ingredients are high quality, and there’s a good balance of flavors. The focaccia is made in house and is PHENOMENAL!!!! The sweet potatoe chips are freshly made and have a nice crunch to them. As for the Spinach Gnocchi, it was so delicious too. The Gnocchi almost melted in my mouth from how soft it was, but still had some bite to it. We didn’t get dessert this time but there are some really good options if you do. The service was fast, and the experience was great. We got some great food for a great price. I will be coming back again for both the lunch special and regular menu.

We visited Trattoria Demi on a whim. The food and service were good. We ordered a salad, arancini, pasta primavera and a vegetarian pizza. While it wasn’t my all time favorite, I would eat here again.

We waited almost 1 hour for the meals to come, even including salad. The food is not authentic and pricy: The pizza is not crispy, and I also would not recommend the cheese ravioli. This is my last time to come.

The Asiago gnocchi was amazing. Server said was a good choice and he was right. Didn't know gnocchi could be so light and airy. Lemon Chello creme Brule was awesome also. Excellent service. Walked over from hotel but would seek it out again just for the food.

Such a cute Italian spot in Evanston! I got the spinach lasagna and it was delicious and the portions was hefty! I ate half and had some to take home. There’s plenty of vegetarian options and you can add meat if you’d like!

Read the reviews before I came in. Not disappointed. Was seated without reservation on Sunday night. Service was a bit slow due to only one server but eventually was greeted. Food was absolutely amazing. Grilled calamari was awesome, Shrimp scampi delightful and the seafood stew was the best I’ve ever had!

Always having a good experience to come here! Miguel often has been our server and is very attentive, friendly and efficient. Homemade recipes are authentic Italian and delicious. Family friendly atmosphere. The costs for lunch specials are very reasonable.

Excellent! We tried the goat cheese bread which was fantastic. Follow up with main course Farfelle chicken with zucchini. It was so nice and comfortable in the restaurant and the server was so attentive. 5 Stars is not enough!

Overall, 3 out of 4 of our entrees were quite decent. However, the Farfalle chicken turned out to be a watery, soupy type of plate. I realize it was the 4th of July, so it’s likely it was due to it being a pretty busy day. I would definitely recommend the chicken parm though I’ve included a pic of the farfalle plate.

Great experience…. The food was amazing. The sauce on the cheese ravioli was a bit runnier than I’m use to. But it had a great flavor. I would have expected a better choice of bread, but that was good as well. The prices can not be be beat for the quality and presentation. I highly recommend this place. Our server “D “ was extremely friendly and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She helped me choose the right drink. We will make a point of coming back. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped for a quick bite around lunchtime and was surprised by how good the service was, even during peak hours. Tried out the lunch specials and the rigatoni was so creamy and delicious!

This was my first time here. I came from Brazil for the Chicago marathon, and it's a fantastic place that I recommend to everyone. I was impressed by the quality, presentation of the dish, and flavor. Congratulations, I hope to come back here many times.

A lovely neighborhood restaurant with very tasty food and fast service. I have one suggestion: please move the hostess table to the main entrance, otherwise if it’s your first time, it can be very confusing to know if you should enter all the way into the restaurant! That or put a sign up so people can know to come in.

Delicious, fresh, and rich food with good prices and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Service is great and didn’t need to wait long for any of the food.
