Wow! The pizza was amazing! Everyone at my table loved the pizza. I had the Tre Carne pizza. It’s definitely at the top of my list for favorite pizzas. I’ll be bringing my wife here the next time that were in Chicago together.

Delicious pizza, perfect crust and good balance of toppings! One pizza is enough for 2 people if you get an appetizer to share. Salads are also very tasty! Service is excellent!

I recently visited this Napoletana pizzeria and had an amazing experience! The pizzas were absolutely delicious, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed them. The frito misto was a delightful surprise, bursting with flavors. Make sure to save room for dessert, as they have some amazing options. However, one small issue we encountered was that the window to the patio remained open, causing the smell of cigarettes to drift inside, even though we were seated indoors. Additionally, some of the staff members weren't particularly friendly. Overall, it's a great place for delicious food, just keep in mind the minor downsides.

After hearing about the authentic Neapolitan pizza at Forno Rosso, I had to stop in to try it out. I ordered the "Bufalina" pizza (pictured) and it truly was delicious. The pizza was every bit as authentic and flavorful as a real Neapolitan pizza. All of the ingredients were super tasty and fresh. My only regret was that there wasn't more of it! Truly great pizza. And, the pizza was served with a bottle of their own "sweet and spicy" sauce which also lived up to its billing. The staff was also terrific at Forno Rosso, they made a wonderful meal that much more enjoyable. I would very highly recommend Forno Rosso for authentic Neapolitan 🍕🍕🍕 pizza!

The star of this pizza show was the oil and the pizza crust. It's like you've got to eat the pizza just to get to the crust so you can dip it in the oil. The oil is heat with no spice. It's magical. The pizzas themselves where excellent. But the oil! Wow! Unlocked a new taste sensation.

Never a disappointment, great food great service and my wife loves the Strawberry Basil Martini from here. I would recommend this place 100% of the time. Had to go back 1 more time before the end of the year. They has this pizza on special and it was absolutely delicious. Pair it with a strawberry basil martini and have yourself a great night.

Hidden gem tucked away in a small strip mall. I'd never noticed it before, we're glad Google suggested it. Our server (Battle) was very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner/manager walked around making sure everyone was doing all right. The pizza (Margarita w/sausage) was delicious, we also had the freshest Bruschetta I've had in quite some time. This will definitely be our pizza spot from now on. 👍🏽

I got recommendations for this place from my Italian friend, he said this is the closest to famous Italian pizza in wood fire oven! And we are amazed by taste and service! Everything is great! Ordered for delivery and was very disappointed. Requested well done crust to avoid sogginess upon arrival and it was not well done and came soggy. Also ordered a pizza with prosciutto on it and instead got deli ham. The remainder or toppings were as described. Overall disappointing

First time trying. I would give this spot a 4.5 if it were an option. Parking is available, but a little tight. Dining room has a bit of an odd layout due to the building footprint. Let's face it though, what matters? The pizza! We've dined all over the city and have tried more than our share of pizza in Chicago. If you are looking for great Neopolitan style pizza, look no further. We tried a red and a white variety and both were excellent. The crust had a nice crisp to it and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. They have good appetizer and salad options as well. I ordered a cappuccino and they even knocked that out of the park. We didn't need it, but ordered the Limoncello Flute dessert. Nice and tart! We'll be back for sure and will recommend to others.

Last time we ordered here was this summer, so today when we were in a mood for some dessert, we decided to order the Nutella-banana pizza. I have to say I was very disappointed. They made it half the size that it was before, which we didn’t expect, so everyone had to get only like one small piece and that’s it. And even that wasn’t that big of a deal, so we started eating and everyone just spit it out, because the bottom part was burned, and not just a little, but so much so that it left a burnt taste in my mouth. And banana was not soft at all. Like, how do you make a banana feel like you’re chewing a piece of cotton? Not sure what happened, but the quality from the one we ate a few months ago and the one today is huge.

Always have the best pizzas and the best cannoli. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and attending, ambience is cozy and casual, no wait line, pretty spacious. Love going there

Went to this next neighborhood restaurant at the recommendation of my sister. Man was it delicious. Everything was so tasty. My Italian beer was great. The oven roasted olives and salads were great. That evening’s special, gnocchi, was phenomenal, some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was spot on, checking in on us at the right times. The owner or manager swung by to thank us for coming. What a great find, thanks sis’.

I come here often because the food is so delicious and the ingredients are fresh. Yesterday I came in to have dinner outside and was harassed by another patron who was being really racist. The owner handled the entire situation very well. Actually I would say it was exceptional, he offered the patron another option for dining inside, and he gave me free desert which is pictured and a complimentary meal. It was so unexpected and such a blessing to see someone care.

Today was our first time. Great dam service. Our servicer was fantastic! The GM also paid us a visit. Introduced himself. So professional and kind. Toscana salad was awesome. Calamari great. Super fun spot to go with family or friends. We went on a Friday night and they were still able to accommodate our large table. Definitely a crowded restaurant but with fun ambiance and super friendly staff who were incredibly attentive. Wine list is great, their salads are amazing and of course the pizza comes out quick and delicious. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place to catch up, but great for friends to add an upscale shareable meal! (Although honestly we get t a pizza a person and were happy to bring home leftovers.)

We went for lunch on Sunday, our server was Teddy, he was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Food was fast and delicious. Very traditional, cooked on wooden oven. He was also so kind to give us recommendations and to explain the main concept of the restaurant. It’s also a certified traditional Italian restaurant. Atmosphere is also great, quiet and pleasant. Fantastic, thin crust, Italian style pizza. Ask them to make the crust extra crispy. The salads are incredibly fresh and tasty. The prices are competitive. Highly recommended for a fun casual dinner.

First time visiting the Harlem Ave location. We ordered the the roasted beet salad as a starter and the pizza Vesuvio with fresh anchovies for our entree. Both were super delicious with tasty fresh top quality ingredients. It’s very authentic pizza just as it is served in Italy if you’re looking for real pizza with a wood-fired baked crust. Our server was also very courteous, sweet and attentive. We will definitely return here again!

Prosciutto e Arugula and Pizza Tartufo, absolutely amazing, was coming for years to this place and I tried pizza at other great places in Chicago, but Forno Rosso is for sure the best! Their truffle and prosciutto are so delicious that it is a must on pizza! Today I tried their pizza with basil pesto and I didn't regret. They have a cute small padio outside, they have awesome deserts as well (anything that includes nutela is my choice 😁) all recommendations!

An excellent choice if you are looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza. Delicious food and a great lively atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and is on hand making sure things function properly. The staff is attentive and enthusiastic. Great music fills the place and is exactly like the good pizzerias in Europe. In fact you will feel like you are in Europe. Clients were mostly European, speaking Polish and Russian. They have an outdoor area with umbrellas so you can have a very pleasant evening with your friends. Great food, people, drinks, music, what more do you need?

I’m not an expert on italian food but I feel that after trying out this place I had a excellent introduction to good authentic italian food. The place had a really good atmosphere to it and the good vibe the waitresses & waiters transmitted made me feel good & comfortable to be at this place. Our attentive waitress was really helpful in suggesting what to order and I was really satisfied on the outcome of our dinner. The food tasted amazing and it had a made at home taste to it. Strong essences are kept in small bottles. Its exactly what I can say about Forno Rosso Pizzeria. I went there for the first time on Saturday with my friends. Pizza is delicious, excellent service and even if it was busy everything was fast and tasted great! Thanks for server who was very nice to us and recommended us good shots for digestion!!! From the drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts you can't go wrong with it all. I've never had a bad anything from Forno Rosso Pizzeria. The owners George and Nick have truly created a gem in Chicago. They truly have left their mark & love of food with Forno Rosso. The staff goes out of their way to give you selections or guide you through what will make your mouth water; Valentina has always surprised me with what I'm going to eat. I would personally run not walk to dine in or bring home. Thank me later on how amazing this gem restaurant really is.

People who rave about this place either have damaged sense of taste or never had good pizza or Italian food before . The only positive thing about this place is brick fire oven and that's where positives ends . Salad is blah at best with worst croutons I had in my life , dressing not really good and we had surprise in our salad - hair in it . That's disgusting . Pizza not much better. There is one golden rule when it comes to Pizza ,when you grab one slice and fold it slightly pizza should stay straight , not this pizza . You need to use two hands to eat it otherwise it will end up on plate instead your mouth . It was also burnt at edges and generally didn't taste good . To add it up this place is not cheap either .
