We visited the gallery about a week ago and the artwork was so impressive and extraordinary to us. But not only the art, the gallery is really one of a kind: the soft music that met us as we opened the door, the volume and feeling of the rooms, the art, and not the least the gallery assistant Krystina we met working there was so nice and interesting in many ways. As a whole probably the best gallery we have attended. We will definitely come back!

By far the best gallery featuring local and international contemporary art in Copenhagen. Exciting and dynamic exhibitions with a large variety of artworks. We particularly enjoyed “Diva”, Krista Rosenkilde’s solo exhibition and it was such a pleasure to meet her at the opening. Christoffer and his team are welcoming and professional making a visit to the gallery a wonderful experience. We are so pleased with our beautiful artwork from the gallery.

On our first-ever visit to Denmark--from Atlanta, Georgia--we discovered Galleri Christoffer Egelund. Even under your dark and rainy skies (you have to admit it--this was December) the gallery filled the street with light and color. Everywhere else in Copenhagen, we said, "It must be so beautiful here in the summer!" but the Galleri simply contains its own light, its own bright season. We felt introduced to new and rising young artists and hope to make at least one gorgeous painting our own. Mr. Egelund himself is delightful, eager to share the works he's collected, willing to correspond from afar. It's a really special place.

We came across the gallery after making direct contact with the artist - a great reflection on the gallery that they have such a good relationship with their artists. Due to COVID travel restrictions (and not living in Copenhagen) we couldn't visit the gallery in person - but Christoffer and Kristina were most helpful and understanding through the purchase of work. When we are next passing Copenhagen we will certainly pop in and say hello.

We were hunting for artwork of a specific artist and found a painting of interest in Galleri Christoffer Egelund. While visits were not possible for us during the Covid pandemic, Kristina Egelund was very helpful in sending us photographs and organizing a shipment for us. We are very pleased with our new art addition and hope to be able to visit the gallery in person one day!

Spacious and energetic gallery space showcasing newer and upcoming artists from around the globe. The layout and decor allow the prospective buyer to view the art comfortably and to get a feel for how it may look in their chosen spaces. We bought several pieces and the transaction could not have been smoother with it all culminating in Christoffer and his colleagues installing our pieces in our home. The gallery also welcomes the curious and the passerby too and staff are knowledgeable about the artists they are showing and the Copenhagen art scene in general.

Gallery Christoffer Egelund is a magnificent contribution to the Danish and international art scene. Offering a warm welcome, Christoffer and his wife Kristina are more than happy to share their deep knowledge about their artists and contemporary art trends around the world. My wife and I have been customers for many years and we are looking very much forward to the XMAS ‘20 Annual Winther Show.

As a novice buying fine art, I had a very good experience at Galleri Christoffer Egelund. I was treated with honesty and professionalism and was met at “ my level” in a very friendly atmosphere. All e-mails and phonecalls were answered promptly and a great piece of art combined with the nice approach from Galleri Christoffer Egelund led to a buy that I am very happy about. I highly recommend Galleri Christoffer Egelund - also if you have never bought a piece of art before.

I truly recommend anyone who is visiting Copenhagen to go see Galleri Christoffer Egelund! They show beautiful contemporary art, from artists all over the world. They have a great variety which makes the gallery so attractive to visit, as not only the recognized artists are presented but also upcoming ones. The atmosphere is always a welcoming! Christoffer, the owner, is always willing to help anyone out who is looking for a piece or simply enjoys speaking about art. If you are someone who enjoys art, just go to visit the place! It will be a wonderful experience!

We recently had the opportunity to order online a magnificent Jack Kabangu through Christoffers gallery. It was a 5 star experience! The painting arrived in the confirmed delay and in perfect condition at our home in Antwerp, Belgium. Many tx to Christoffer and Kristina Jan & Kristel

My art club had the pleasure of a private conducted tour at Christoffer Egelund Gallery. We were all delighted with the knowledge and the enthusiasm expressed by Kristina Egelund. This gallery is worth a visit, again and again.

Was at the XMAS vernising at Galleri Christoffer Egelund - an afternoon that ended up being one of the highlights of December. Exciting paintings, sculptures and installation art in fantastic rooms. I fell in love with a painting - and meeting the artist (who himself attended the premiere) was of course the icing on the cake. Thank you for creating the best setting for discovering new art.

Beautiful gallery with beautiful works, but most importantly with incredibly nice people - the owners Kristina and Christoffer are so welcoming, pleasant and easy going. It meant a lot to me, as I am new to the art world and was a bit unsure about the "codes" - but they welcomed me so well. I look forward to coming again :)

🫤 The summer restaurant at Kulturtårnet is massive rip off. For 925,-, you are served bad wine and food that attempts to look like it's gourmet but in reality is average and leaves you hungry after the meal. You're paying for a crazy location surcharge essentially as the spot itself is really cool an...
