I’ve been trying out so many salons in Prague throughout the years to find the perfect place, and i think Podium is it! Great location, fantastic service, easy booking system. One of the very few places that was able to give me the exact haircut i was asking for! 100% recommend!

The image of me in a hat is the BEFORE while me sitting in the chair is the AFTER. The place is amazing and I would recommend this place if you're looking for a stylish haircut! First off, when I entered, I was a little worried since there weren't as much customers. Why was it empty? Should I be worried about something? However, their hospitality eased all worries: getting my jacket for me, free tea (green or rose), directing me to places I had to be for my haircut. It was very much worth the money. Later on, I realized there was a language barrier between me and my hairdresser. I began to worry again. However, the hostess at the front who welcomed me, took care of my jacket, gave me tea and showed me directions to the bathroom came to the rescue. If you're worried about lack of English, they had several workers who knew. They asked for references on what kind of haircut I wanted. I wanted a hair style called the jellyfish haircut. When I showed them images I had saved beforehand, they pondered many questions and made sure I was 100% sure. They made very good pointers about hair types (which I was very well aware of). My hairdresser gave good advice and even offered what might look best for my hair and my facial structure. If she has 7+ years of experience, I'll take it! A very good consultation! They did a jellyfish haircut only with a few adjustments and edits. They reminded me over and over again it might turn out the way I want it to. And they're right. It's even BETTER. By the end of the session, I felt like a child giggling and laughing. It was gorgeous and I cannot wait to go back home to NYC to tell my family and friends, "I got a coolass haircut in Prague!!" You don't get to do that everyday. The staff seemed to be happy for me as I laughed and they had overall, good vibes. They made me feel welcomed as an outsider and i sensed no judgement from anyone. Even more so, they gave extra advice on how to care/style my hair afterwards at home and in the future! I can't say much about hairdye, curling or other services but haircuts are great! I can't explain how happy I am with this salon. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, from the very first step I was greeted by a lovely administrator, who immediately offered me a drink. Hairstylist Alena is a real fairy ❤️ She listened attentively to my requests, consulted me, explained how my haircut will look like (it was a big makeover for me), commented on her every step and overall she's a very charming and caring professional. Podium is your best choice in Prague and they deserve much much more than 5 stars. I finally found a hairstylist who actually hears and understands me ❤️✨

The salon itself is very nice, the staff is very friendly and hospitable, offered welcome drinks ☕️ My hair are curly and sometimes it’s difficult to find knowledgeable hairdressers, but with Alena it was a match! I came in to have a “blow to waves” with Natalia while on vacation. She was really nice, listened to what I asked for and executed it perfectly. She spoke really good English and had an excellent attention to detail. The salon is really nice and clean. Highly recommend!
