Depending upon when you plan on getting here, prepare yourself for some crowds. We went on a Monday evening...and were in for a treat - not terribly crowded, but a fairly full house. There are loads of drink selections, and the staff are typically quick and friendly. There are plenty of staff working on security to help keep everyone safe - which was great to see. The music that night was fantastic, and the crowd absolutely loved them and sang along faithfully (as did we!). The history and atmosphere at this place is legendary, and is a must see, if for nothing else, to take it all in. Great times, loads of fun!

Beautiful Irish Pub. I can see why the Temple Bar Pub is so famous within Temple Bar and Dublin. Had my first full pint of Guinness, which I fell in love with, so very important place for me! Full of tradition and decorated beautifully. Very magical at Christmas. Very touristy, but the Guinness was very tasty and looked great. Super busy all day long. Went at 10am and 10pm, both times the pub was full. Definitely recommend a quick visit for some photos and to tick it off the list. Was definitely the most expensive pint I had in Ireland at €9.45/Guinness! Live music was fantastic all day and night. One of my favourite pubs I attended, and I'm glad I visited this wonderful Irish icon, but make sure, as a tourist, you explore more of what is on offer around the city.

This is a great place. It is of course, absolutely iconic for its location and because of what it is. However I was surprised and happy to see that there wasn’t any enormous queue, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The alcohol is a bit expensive, but I kind of expected this. If you’re in Dublin, then this a good place to go.

Honestly, super disappointing experience. I guess it's nice in theory and there's nothing wrong (except the prices) with the bar on its own, but it was so overcrowded it was hard to even breath there. I like busy bars where we can have fun, but this was really way too much as with the people around, you can do nothing there. It's so much more rewarding to visit one of the other bars around (that are less busy but still lively and cheaper).

fantastic for a tourist bar! There are moments that are full of people and other moments are mild! I recommend picking up a table against the bar, it's easier to place orders! Ordering oysters pays off a lot, they are fresh and delicious, a small olive entree is also very good, and has a wide range of beers! If you come to Dublin I highly recommend this bar!

Not too expensive for Dublin prices tbh. Really enjoyed our time here as it was very close to our hotel and during the day there's great table service. Good options for beers to try including a few from Ireland and the food whilst not cheap is served in good sized portions. When we visited the first time the singer was really good but on our second visit there was a younger singer who was nowhere near as good. As with a fair amount of the pubs in Dublin there's loads of Guinness memorabilia. Definitely worth a try if you're in the Temple Bar area.

Such a great place to go to while you're in Dublin! A lively pub with a wide range of choices of drinks, along with live music of local bands - makes a perfect evening! It may be a little noisy and crowded, but it's totally worth the experience - you should go there at least once! With that being said, I highly recommend going there in the morning while you can take some pictures of it.

This bustling and busy bar is located in the heart of the Temple Bar region in central Dublin. There is a large range of drinks available to buy from several bars. There is also an outside seating area as well as plenty of indoor seating. There is often live music playing which contributes to the fun Irish pub vibe.

They've added plenty of seating outside - more than the whiskey barrels. This allows for some quick bites with your cocktail or pint. We had pizza and some nachos. Very well done. We enjoyed lounging outside for an hour or so. Worth noting I haven't had an issue getting a spot to sit down any if the days I stopped by in the early evening. That may change on the weekends, though. Not sure how busy they are Saturdays.

Iconic location that has captures the true spirit of how Ireland parties. Not the cleanest establishment thanks to the thousands of patrons they have every day. But the selection of drinks and the live music does not disappoint. Definitely a must visit when you’re in Ireland.

We went during the busiest time of the year. Once you get into the pub, it is way too packed and there's no space to just hang around. But, the Christmas spirit and fun was there and it was very fun to see. Everyone was dancing and just having a good time. Only downside is that drinks were overpriced.

Guys, trust me, this is one of the best bars on earth! The atmosphere was so, so great which made my day. The live music performance was awesome as well. I love the vibe so much! This is absolutely a must-visit place. The only thing that you might complain about is the crowded space. Well, it’s too good to be not crowded.

Very touristic but It’s a must to go! lol There are many cool pubs in Dublin but Temple Bar is the reference of Ireland you should definitely spend some time here, have a beer, meet some new people then you go and do it in a few other pubs around the area Explore! Embrace the energy of Ireland!! Drink and toast by the sound of the most awesome singers!! You’ll love it 🍀❤️‍🔥

I mean, If you are in Dublin, you HAVE to visit The Temple Bar district and The Temple Bar Club. If you love whiskey, they have hundreds to choose and they make their own!! I had The Temple Bar’s 12 year. Right in the middle of the price range. A delicious Irish Whiskey! This place is world famous, so it’s always packed. You will probably have to wait in the queue for a little bit, but it moves fast. Service is a challenge right now because of covid so be patient. Live music, great whiskey and new friends… what Dublin is all about in one bar.

Temple Bar Pub is the legendary one that you’ll find on every magnet and postcard sold in Dublin. It’s worth a stop for that reason alone, that being said it’s not the best pub in Dublin and is mainly full of tourists like the rest of the pubs in Temple Bar area. You’ll be hard pressed to find a seat in the evening as it’s usually wall to wall people, but still a lot of fun to experience. A must-see in Dublin.

I'm not a fan for "touristy" places, but while crossing the temple bar neighborhood we saw the iconic bar all lit up with plenty of tourists taking pictures outside. We were drawn in, and welcomed to amazing live music on a Monday night! Free good music! The Guinness ordered were 7.5 Euros which some locals think it's insane, but the price was quite reasonable given the free music and the creamy Irish pour of a Guinness. We came back the next night and was greeted with more great music. The only thing was the bathroom is downstairs and you almost needed a road map, especially after a couple Guinness!

The day I arrived in Ireland, I had the wish to visit famous Temple Bar. I went there with a friend and found it nice. There were various music playing inside and people of all ages were present inside. We somehow find a place to sit and grab a beer. We were in a hurry so we didn't stayed longer however the ambience was nice and the ambience was really nice. I think I should visit there once more and get a better overview of the place. Still remains a good place to have beer and enjoy your leisure time.

Quite an interesting place with its own history and diverse people. There is always nice live music playing. Of course, the place is full of tourists and you can meet people of all nationalities. I was mistaken for Irish for example 😅 But that doesn't stop it from being so popular and having lots of guests on its doorstep! The prices are reasonable.

Looks great all lit up and good for photos but if you're after the authentic Irish pub experience with live music go to a traditional Irish pub with a proper cosy feel where you can relax without feeling like you're going to get your bag or pockets dipped . It's a place you should visit as far as the touristy attractions go but drinks are overpriced and atmosphere is a let down. Looks great on the holiday snaps 📷 but very overrated .

Can't comment on the food as we only had drinks. It was super busy and you couldn't move in the pub but that's to be expected, especially at a weekend. Service however was super quick and we were served our drinks within 5 minutes of entering the bar. Would absolutely return just for the vibe! It also looks amazing with all the Christmas decorations up.

Everything's surprisingly good. I thought it was a tourist trap at first, coz it appears on loads of travelogue and recommendation, but it was a super nice tourist trap😇 (in a good way!) The waiter was really nice, the live music (classic pop music and folk music) was incredible, the Oysters were really reasonably priced, and the atmosphere and interior design... All fantastic! Spent a magical night in the pub. I'll say it's a must try in Ireland. Worth the price.

Went for a pint in here just to say we had, couldn't afford to drink here all day at nearly €10 a pint. The whisky selection looked extensive. The rooms were fully decked out for Christmas and there were plenty of people in there, probably a lot like us for just the one drink. Each, not shared 🤪. Live music on and many people roaming around so you didn't have to go off and stand at the bar for an hour to get served. A pleasant enough experience just a tad expensive

Very touristy but... that's what we were. We loved every moment. The atmosphere is what (in or dreams) an Irish Pub in Dublin should be. The Guinness is flowing and very good, the food is plentiful and very tasty, the staff is warm and friendly .... now add a bunch of great traditional Irish music and magic. The place does get very crowded but... no one cares. Go and enjoy it.

We were there for Six Nations, a mad house is an understatement. I loved every second of Dublin but the two days we spent time at Temple will be my favorite travel memory. It's loud, rambunctious & absolutely the best atmosphere. If you get the chance, GO TO THE TEMPLE BAR.

The ultimate Irish pub experience! Live traditional music all day and night! Amazing atmosphere! The tastiest Guinness! You have to go there if you're staying in Dublin for the night! The whole crowd was signing and dancing! The band that was on when I visited was called Ladlane. The fiddler was bending the laws of space and time with his ultra fast fiddling! (As per Irish tradition). An absolute must for me whenever again I'm in Dublin.

The most famous pub in Dublin, maybe in Ireland! Temple Bar is located in the heart of Dublin, came back to life after almost two years of pandemic, bringing joy, live music, a lots of pints and people. It's not the cheapest one, but the atmosphere and experience worth a visit!

Our first stop out in Dublin was here at the famous Temple Bar. It's a fun place. Yes, it was absolutely packed. However, there's a quick turnover of people, so it was easy to grab a seat. I liked that ppl are willing to share tables. Service is really fast, and staff look happy to be there. Music is loud enough to be heard from any of the connecting rooms, awesome 👏 . There were probably just as many folks standing outside the bar. It's definitely worth stopping in for the experience.

American Review - No brainer must visit for live music and a pint! We went at various times on the day through the course of the trip. What a fantastic bar, with a an even better atmosphere, really this is the hub of Dublin, you pay slightly more for your Guinness here but it's worth it, there is live music constantly and a great crack here. We will definitely be returning here.

The combo of oysters and Guinness is great, go figure! Good service. Cozy pub atmosphere, live music. They have gluten free bread for the sandwiches, that's a BIG plus. Ordered Pizza for the kids, was appreciated and tasty. We had a buggy and although a bit tight we managed to find seats.

Came here during my first trip to Dublin as I felt like I needed to experience Temple Bar and where better to start than The Temple Bar Pub. Obviously this place is overpriced, which I knew it would be going in (a think a pint of Guinness was est 6.90 euro) It does however have a really nice atmosphere, is surprising big inside so there is plenty of room, and there was live music which really added to the experience, loved it. I would recommend purely for the atmosphere and experience.

On a Tuesday after all the covid lockdown, it was hard to find a bar with live Irish music. Temple had it going! The band played wonderfully and really engaged the crowd. An Irish staple and classic! It's a must-do for any tourist visiting Ireland for the first time, where you'll be sure to experience great live music, classic Irish drinks, and a fantastic time all around. It is a very busy bar, pretty much every night, and the drinks are fairly expensive for the area, both owing to its fame and tourist attraction. That being said, it's very worth it to go for at least one drink and to experience the classic Temple Bar, and definitely to get your pictures out front!

Great place with live music and awesome atmosphere. Went around 3pm, kids were welcomed. First time having Guinness in Ireland and and all I can say is wow. The staff was super nice and bartender offered to take us a picture behind the bar with Guinness draft for great memories. The pub is nicely decorated and was very clean. The place has great history and established in 1840 This is definitely a must place to visit when in Ireland.

What can I say, but it is the Temple Bar! We spent 9 hours here, absolutely loving this place. The service and atmosphere are top-notch. I can't think of a better place where I had drinks. Great pub food to keep you going and foot a tapping. We were there on Sunday and loved the constant flow of live entertainment- amazing! Can it get a bit expensive? The Temple Bar Pub is definitely a fun visit. It is very crowded inside and the drinks are expensive, but it is still worth visiting when you are in Dublin anyways. The interior looks very nice as well. Just would not recommend staying here for hours since there is lots of fun pubs around the area with live music and much better prices for drinks. So a must-visit, but wouldn't spend all your holiday money in here.

Holiday feeling around the Pub. We recently had the pleasure of visiting a charming pub in Dublin that left a lasting impression. Nestled in the heart of the city, this establishment effortlessly combines the warmth of traditional Irish hospitality with a modern twist. From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy ambiance enveloped me, creating an inviting atmosphere. The rustic decor, adorned with classic Irish memorabilia, exuded a sense of history and authenticity. The staff, with their genuine smiles and attentive service, added to the overall welcoming vibe. What truly sets this pub apart is its extensive selection of beverages. The bar boasts an impressive array of both local and international beers, accompanied by a well-crafted cocktail menu that caters to diverse tastes. The knowledgeable and friendly bartenders are more than happy to recommend the perfect drink to complement your preferences. The culinary offerings at this pub are a delightful surprise. The menu showcases a fusion of traditional Irish dishes and inventive creations. Each dish is a culinary journey, highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The flavors are expertly crafted, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. One of the standout features is the live music that graces the pub on select nights. Talented local musicians create a lively and authentic Irish soundtrack, elevating the overall experience. It's the perfect backdrop for enjoying a conversation with friends or immersing oneself in the vibrant local culture. In conclusion, this pub in Dublin is a gem that seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary flair. Whether you're a local looking for a familiar haunt or a visitor seeking an authentic Irish experience, this pub undoubtedly deserves a spot on your must-visit list. It's a testament to the rich tapestry of Dublin's pub culture, and I look forward to returning to savor its distinctive charm again o Very good atmosphere!

If you ever visit Dublin except of the attractions of the city you have to visit the Temple Bar and the area. It's something unique. My experience there was awesome. The only problem was that it's very crowd and a lot of the people want to take a photo.

GO IN FOR 1 DRINK AND THEN LEAVE. I went in very open minded as heard a few remarks but everyone said go in to say you’ve been and then leave and I’m glad I did. Got couple of Guinness’s for 18€. The barmen are fairly chatty but it brings in the wrong punters if you are normal. Most of the punters are Americans and they are doing lots of American things (loud, screaming, whining). Check out the boozers on George’s street instead. Cheaper, better music, better craic, better Guinness.

This pub is a classic spot in Dublin which is a must visit for any tourist despite the high prices. We paid €20 for a pint of Guinness and an Rockshore cider at around midday so expect worse as the night goes on. Fantastic atmosphere with live music and great friendly crowd. It gets extremely busy from 11am onwards so if you want a seat I’d recommend arriving no later than 11. Staff are friendly and helpful also. Guinness was solid but you get a better pint nearer the Guinness storehouse.
