Best muffaletta in New Orleans! Stacked with some of the best meat I’ve ever tasted. Best meal I have had here in the Big Easy. My wife had the smoked turkey….Amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Friendly staff and welcoming environment!

We've tried all of their sausages and they are very good. Their Andouille sausage is simply amazing. It's lean and perfectly spiced. It is the perfect complement to any dish or sandwich. It's even excellent by itself, served hot or cold. We haven't been able to find another Andouille sausage that even comes close. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

Cool place. Came here after visiting the WWII museum. Sat at the bar. Very lively vibes. Lots of small bites available. Favorite was the salmon belly. In the picture it's hidden under all the veggies. Brussels sprouts were delicious too.

As a tourist in New Orleans staying in the french quarter we had little idea of where to go for dinner besides the recommendations we saw online, however we took a recommendation from a friend to come here and we are sooooo happy we did. Our waitresses were awesome (I wish I remembered their names!!) and the food was incredible. The best short rib we've ever had. Mac and cheese was so good. Beer was amazing. Also the best bread EVER!! Would recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans

Every once in awhile you come across a very exceptional employee at an exceptional restaurant. Thomas Ross is one of these people. He made our experience extremely delightful. He was friendly, talkative and really went the extra mile for us. We are so grateful that we had the chance to meet and interact with him. This was a great little place to visit. We highly recommend it.

Always an awesome experience. Perfect casual spot for lunch or dinner with a group. Service is very attentive, food and drinks always served quick as well. The menu is exceptional from top to bottom. Highly recommend the Pig Mac and mac & cheese. Get a charcuterie plate to share, you won’t regret it.

I love it, from food, from the service staff, the interior. I was overwhelmed by the display and varieties of duck, pork, beef products. Our first intention was trying the fried alligator with mayonnaise , but it was on the wrong menu from Cochon restaurant, though the staff was so nice and ordered it from the restaurant to serve it in their butcher. We had charcuterie boards, butcher burger, cat fish, “hot dog” (forgot the name), they’re all served with home made pickle, which was absolutely our favorite. All dishes were well seasoned, light and fresh, which brought like a sense of French cuisine to me. I definitely come back if I have a chance to. The chocolate cake and key lime cake were perfect, rich and creamy, the crust was crunchy soft. Sorry for the photos, I couldn’t make proper pictures because they were too good to wait.

What a wonderful spot! Highly recommended. Great deli with selections of home-cured meats and packaged items. The menu for the Cafe is superb. We had the House Muffaletta, House cooked Potato Chips, Salmon Belly Arugula Appetizer, Mac and Cheese, And Key Lime Cheesecake. All were great.

Stopped in because it was close to my hotel, and I was NOT disappointed. Camille was the AMAZING server and she made GREAT recommendations. I had a buckboard bacon sandwich that was incredible. Flavorful and a small kick of spice. She also recommended a great cocktail. I’ll be back when I’m in the area. Thanks!

If I had the balls to open a bricks and mortar food business, it would be like Cochon Butcher but with a big smoker and Asado grill in the kitchen. We had a tasting plate of different charcuterie and sausage, which I ordered after going though the options with the awesome staff who had the patience of a saint with all my questions. Meat and menu knowledge was on point. Everything on the serving boards were slightly different with a range of textures, taste and heat. All amazing. I love the fact that this is a working butchery inside a casual restaurant/bar with all of their great products available over the counter. They have a restaurant 20 metres down the road, which we'll get to on the next trip.

Oh my, did I just find one of my favorite lunch spots? I got the Spiced Lamb sandwich, and wow…wonderful little pita! Flavor/texture of the meat was excellent, and the way it was wrapped made it super easy to handle. The staff made a good recommendation, and I’d be happy to recommend them to anyone for lunch. Looking forward to trying more of their options in the future!

Me to the pork: “I love you” The pork: “I know.” My companion ordered the pig mac and I had the porchetta cheese steak. Damn. I made sure I got a bite of his as well - and . both were absolutely delicious! We got there shortly after it opened, so no wait at all, great beer selection too, and seriously every bite of both of our sandwiches was savory, juicy goodness. Do save room for some pie afterward (Key Lime the day we were there). The atmosphere is fantastic and everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming; so damn glad we went. Best. Lunch. Ever. Just go.

Anytime I've come inside the customer service has been great. Even with the heat outside Camille (the cashier) and the people behind her had a smile on their face. The food is also always amazing too. A bit on the pricey side for some but it definitely makes up for it with the quality of food you get. If your ever traveling through new orleans and happen to be near here. 10 out of 10 recommend to come and get yourself a bite to eat.

Completely blown away! From the food to the cocktails to the amazing service this place is not one to miss! Walked in to grab a bite for lunch and there was a bit of a wait but found our way to the bar for a couple cocktails. The bartender helped recommend drinks for us and hit it out of the park! They were perfectly mixed and exactly what we wanted! As for the food I have never seen oysters so huge!! As you can tell it was hard to get a picture without digging in first. The grits were creamy and buttery, the greens were absolutely amazing, and the fried gator was crispy and beautifully cooked. I can’t rave about this spot enough it’s not one to miss!

My friend Brandon suggested this place since it was within walking distance from his home at The Cotton Mill. My hamburger that I got was excellent. We sat out on the porch area, so the vibe was awesome! The server was very attentive and did not try to rush us off the table, he could tell we were catching up with each other. The prices were not too bad at all. I definitely will come back when I am back in town.

Not busy during lunch on a Monday. Great service (staff checking up on our table to make sure water glasses filled). Epic Muffuletta as expected. Brussels sprouts side was great too.

Stopped here for a muffuletta in the evening and enjoyed it so much that I came for lunch the next day and had a turkey sandwich. Ordering was easy and the sandwiches were fantastic. It’s on my list of places to visit next time I’m in New Orleans for sure!

This is a casual spot with excellent food. The service was great. You walk up to the register to order, get a number, and your food gets delivered to your table. There are servers who check on you to see if you need anything else. Everybody was very friendly. The food was excellent. We had the buckboard bacon melt and the butcher burger in addition to the boudin and the house made chips. We also got some salami, andouille and hot sauce to take back home. So we will remember our visit for sometime to come.

We were down here for the Sugar Bowl (Go Huskies!!) And went to this place for lunch on New Years Day after it was recommended by a local the day before. Man, this place is the real deal!! I had the Le Pig Mac with potato salad, and it was by far my favorite food in New Orleans and one of the best meals I've ever had!! The atmosphere was great, the waitress at the counter was super friendly and helpful and I can not wait to go back!!

I ordered the muffaletta. I make a really good muffle out of myself so I was apprehensive but this one was awesome. I strongly recommend it. My friend ordered a different sandwich and it was really good too. I like homemade potato chips so that was a plus. The service was incredibly quick. The waitress was really on her toes.

I had the black eye pea chili it was pretty good could have used some rice and cheese for $7 it was a very small portion. The cornbread stick was interesting but again small for the price pr the expectation of a piece of cornbread. It was more like a stick biscotti. They have a very interesting sandwich menu and I will most likely return to try at least one.

How can sandwiches be this good!?! And not just the sandwiches but the beer selection was great too! Even my 3 year old daughter who is usually vegetarian (her choice, not ours) was munching down on everything on her plate as well as ours. Honestly, the best place we ate at during our 3 days in New Orleans. Highly recommended.

To me and my spouse, Cochon Butcher was even better than Cochon. The food was phenomenal, with meat choices I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Taste, execution, great staff, fantastic drinks, and a low key atmosphere. Would happily come back here - and before I’d go back to Cochon!

Stopped in for a work lunch and while there was a crowd, the line moved quickly and it didn’t take long for the food to arrive. There are two lines, one line to order and then another line of people waiting to pick up their to go food, don’t wait in that line by mistake. The meal was delicious! Great combo of flavors and an interesting take on a Philly steak sandwich. I also had a specialty soda (pepper elixir) that made a great pairing :) Looking forward to dinning again!

I love this spot for lunch! It's busy so be prepared to order at the front counter and find a spot in the back dining room or on the sidewalk patio. My go-to is the buckboard bacon melt with a side of hot boudin. It's the perfect sharable lunch so you can continue to eat your way through New Orleans!

I've been to Cochon and Cochon Butcher a handful of times and it is always delicious. I love the simple menu and well prepared food. The service is always friendly and the price is reasonable. Not much to complain about here :)

They have two restaurants combined . There's Cochon(formal dining) and Cochon butcher located in the back. You ordered at the counter. My sandwich was huge, tasty but a little salty and sweet.

Went to this shop after a big conference. The line is long but they move fast. The shop works very efficiently. Ordered cheese burger with sauce on the side. Definitely very tasty burger without overwhelmingly saltiness compared to my last two tries of New Orleans foods. My friend got the turkey sub and he said it is tasty too. Environment is open but also loud. Overall happy experience here.

Overall good experience! Food was good especially the meat. Didn’t care for the salad - the dressing wasn’t my favorite flavor and it had olives on it (all personal preference). While the food was very good not a ton of healthy options. Felt the prices were a little steep.

Can’t find the name of the cocktail I got, but it was one of the best I’ve had! Absolutely loved smelling the rose petals inside every time I took a sip. Cubano sandwich was so delicious! Fried Shrimp and a Mexican Coca Cola for the kiddo was the way to go. SO dang good y’all! Highly recommend this funky little spot!
