It has been over a month since my trip with Rachel's Irish Adventures, and I still think about it every day. I have traveled around the world and was initially dubious about doing a guided vacation: I prefer off-the-beaten track experiences away from tourists where I can truly experience a country's culture. But that is exactly what I got and more! Rachel is a truly gifted tour guide and amazing person. From swimming in the ocean to baking scones with her mom, to taking breathtaking hikes in remote Irish villages, every day with Rachel is one you will never forget. She is able to read her client's energy and understand what they need even before they do: A delicious surprise ice cream cone on a long car drive? You got it! Rachel knows how to find the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure, and tailors the trip's itinerary perfectly to what you want. Moral of the story is, don't hesitate to book a trip with Rachel's Irish Adventures. You'll never want your experience to end! Thank you to Iszy and Rachel for a lifetime of memories.

We cycled County Clare with Rachel and Iszy as part of a group trip. They provided very cool bikes for the tour and kept a group of 20 people with diverse interests and pedaling speeds happy and rolling through the incredible Irish countryside. When the tour was over we extended our stay. Rachel went above and beyond making recommendations for lodging and cycling outings. We stayed at Brigown B&B where Rachel’s mom treated us to her incredible cooking and a whiskey tasting with a local distillery. Thanks Rachel for making our trip the best ever!!!

I highly recommend Rachel Irish Adventures for anyone looking for an unforgettable and authentic cycling tour of Ireland! Recently, I had the pleasure of taking part in a supported 6-day cycling tour of Ireland with Rachel & Iszy. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was nothing short of exceptional. The best views, hikes, and cultural experiences were all included in our tour, making every day an authentic adventure. We had the opportunity to witness Irish broom dancing, enjoy live music, sample local delicious food, and stay in very unique and charming accommodations. All in addition to a fantastic guided tour on and off the bikes. Rachel is an exceptional guide, providing us with interesting and informative commentary about the local history, culture, and traditions of Ireland. Her passion for the country and its people was evident, and she always went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and having a good time. Both Rachel and Iszy truly paid close attention to every detail, ensuring that we had a memorable time in Ireland. In summary, I highly recommend Rachel Irish Adventures to anyone looking for a unique and authentic cycling, running or active tour of Ireland! You can rest assured that Rachel and Iszy will provide an unparalleled experience.

We enjoyed an amazing week with Rachel's Irish Adventures cycling through beautiful County Mayo! Rachel knows all the best locations and is so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Ireland. We saw castles, abbeys, the gorgeous seaside and even visited a sheep farm where we saw a sheep dog in action and got to hold the baby lambs. I can't recommend Rachel's Irish Adventures enough! We had the experience of a lifetime!

Pure Class! Rachel was great touring our group around the Wild Atlantic Way. Supportive and knowledgeable. A+ itinerary integrated with locals. If you want an active vacation and seeing the secret non-touristy spots - search no further. Amazing time in Co Mayo, Ireland!

OMG! We just got home from our adventure with Rachel, our trip with her was so amazing. She goes above and beyond to give a custom experience, immersing you in the culture, the food and the adventures. We saw very few other tourists, climbed mountains that few locals have and even joined in some CrossFit. She went with the flow and we felt we could easily change our plans as needed. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone seeking adventure, great food, amazing guidance, and over all fun in Ireland. Go raibh maith agat (thank you) Rachel!

We spent 11 days with Rachel Nolan traveling up the Wild Atlantic Way and Northern Ireland before returning to Dublin.  We worked with Rachel 14 months prior to our trip date, indicated what we wanted to see, experience and do.  She and her support team put together our itinerary for our once in a lifetime family vacation that absolutely exceeded all expectations.  The best part was that when issues came up, (for example, hotel boiler went out so we had to move hotels) it was seamless for us and all seemed part of the trip.  She took experiences that we indicated we wanted and made them even better.  Instead of experiencing the sea cliffs at busy bus-filled tourist spots, we hiked trails along the Wild Atlantic Way that were breathtaking, awesome, inspirational…you get the idea…AND we would see no more than 4-10 people while we were on the trails.  Rachel was part of our vacation, not our guide.  She was motivational, adaptable, and passionate throughout the trip.  And the best part, she was able to read our body language (truly empathetic) and would adjust on the fly with our itinerary.  Our sons had another 10 days planned in Europe before returning to Dublin to fly home 10 days after we (mom and dad) flew home.  She worked with them in planning their return to Dublin and where to stay.  This will not be the last time our family works with her as we plan future vacations in Ireland and Europe.  We have already identified friends of our that would be interested in the same type of Irish adventures that we experienced and made clear that if they ever go to Ireland they need to work with Rachel.  As stated earlier, Rachel and this trip exceeded our expectations and the money we spent was worth every penny.  We did not pay too much for the experience we had, if anything, she could have charged us more!  TOP CLASS, Rachel!

From the very first moment of meeting Rachel you know you're going to have the time of your life. We just came back from a family vacation to the Wild Atlantic Way planned meticulously by Rachel and I can honestly say I will be relishing every memory for years. Rachel shows you a side of Ireland very few tourists could ever find on their own--- and that is worth every penny. Tell her what type of experience you are looking for and Rachel will deliver. She's incredibly organized, professional, kind, funny, interesting, knowledgeable..... Rachel is the whole package. We can't wait to book another adventure with her in the future. Thank you, Rachel and Iszy, for making a dream come true for our family.

Amazing trip with Rachel! I would recommend her every time. She took us on multiple hikes which were once in a lifetime hikes, biking to see castles, cuddled some sheep, did a whiskey tasting (which for someone who isn't as fond of whiskey I still had a great time), and baking class. She makes you feel right at home in her country and gives you all the tips on where we should go to eat/drink. We went swimming three different times and though it was cold - what a great experience swimming in Ireland! As we drove around with her she answered all of our questions and we got to know her (she is pretty awesome) - so we also didn't have to attempt to drive on the other side of the road. Overall, don't hesitate to book a trip with her. You will experience Ireland in a way that will make you feel like Ireland is your home.
