Looking for a 5 star experience? Come to this bar. Looking for great environment to enjoy a pint you have to come here . I can jot say enough nice things about this pub . It was such an amazing experience to have drinks here . It has me asking when I’m coming back to Ireland to specifically go to this pub! Amazing

Old world charm in abundance, quirky spit and sawdust kinda pub really is a throw back to old Ireland. It's always buzzing 7 nights a week even in the depths of January and the staff will always have a warm friendly welcome for you. The beer is first class from the usual fair, epic pint of Guinness and plenty of local brews. I highly recommend the "Little Fawn" from sligos own white hag brewery, a proper little IPA.

Always a superb pint of Guinness, no new style pint glasses here. Very old school / old style pub and between that and the staff, it’s always a great atmosphere and all round great experience. Today was no exception 👍

The place was recommended by our local family and it did not disappoint. Young adult children were treated to a regular Irish pub experience and they loved it. Nice staff.

Not actually been to Connolly, the wife wouldn't let me. But Sligo is a nice town, plenty to do and drink.

Cool little bar- allegedly the oldest in Sligo. No food available. Friendly staff. Plenty of screens- football was playing when we went and DOG FRIENDLY! My husband told me the Guinness was good.

Best bar I have been to in Ireland so far. Also has an amazing whiskey collection.

Wow, what a great visit. Our tender was very kind and helpful. Of course drew us a few pints of Guinness, but he also guided through a couple of whiskey choices that we can’t get in the States. Thank you!

Friendly atmosphere, fantastic and attentive staff and one of the best pints of Guinness going. There's a reason this pub won pub of the year. Couldn't recommend highly enough. An absolute must see.

Beautifully preserved traditional pub with the best pint of Guinness in Sligo. Bartender was super friendly and funny. I had a Halloween craft brew from an Irish brewery, Undead Inside. Bartender's tip: don't smell it first. 😳 🤣 Was actually great, but he was right, the smell would've thrown me off if I hadn't tasted first.

Great bar, staff were lovely and there was a decent selection of drink. Definitely the place to go if you're a whiskey drinker.

The bar may seem a bit dilapidated but it gives off friendly vibes the minute you step through the door. The clientele are cheery and friendly. The barman is outstanding! He was pleasant and informative and he remembered our order when we went back for another round. He came to the booth and offered further help should we need it.

Friendly staff. Fabulous old Irish pub. One of the best pints of Guinness I've ever had. Live traditional music most nights. Well worth a visit if you are in Sligo town 🍀

Great old style pub. No messing, just a proper pub, with great pints. Can be quite busy.

A little gem! Came here last night as was recommended by taxi driver. Best bar service ever! The minute drinks were getting low, barman was straight over to take orders again. Said Happy Birthday to me, when he noticed the balloon. Super friendly & welcoming. Recommended whiskey tasters for the men: they'll loved them! Really good booth seating for our party of 6x people. Spacious! And I enjoyed reading the history of this heritage bar. Highly recommend for a pint of Guiness! 5 stars for location, prices, and service. Really enjoyed our visit: will return here again, when in sligo.

Atmospheric and intimate traditional old pub beside the river in Sligo Town centre. Good beer selection and an amazing range of whiskies!

Had a great night, atmosphere was fantastic! Leanne was absolutely amazing! So friendly, gave us lots of advice on what to do around the city. Definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful atmosphere in a place that's been a pub since 1861 (I think). Landlord photo bombed us... Cracker.

A very old and traditional pub, a place to stay and to drink a beer 🍻 or two ✌️and the personal is very kindly. While you're drinking and look around you feel a little bit to be a part of the history. I like old and history places like that. It's not mainstream and so you are really in a other place of the world.🗺️😎👍 Enjoy your stay in Ireland 🍀🇮🇪

So great to get back to Connollly's again. Our pod was waiting for us when we arrived, could not fault the service and the Guinness tasted even better, if that's possible. Fair plé Paul and crew 👍

The oldest pub in Sligo, magnificent creamy pints of Guinness served by welcoming and attentive staff. One of the best pubs in the country and a must visit if you're in Sligo.

Nicest staff ever, first time here and just became my favourite pub. We had a great time. Great selection of IPA's. Shout out to Godfrey, such a lovely man! We will be back for sure when in Sligo again. Thank you!

Wonderful friendly staff. The new pods are a great idea with great workmanship. These should be kept even when we get back to a normal life. When I return to wonderful Sligo Connolly's we be my first port of call Keep up good work.
