It's such a shame cause of Covid we sat in a corner...I would of loved to have a Craic with the locals. The Guinness was gorgeous!!! Came back Sat 28th May things almost back to 'normal'...the Guinness is still gorgeous!!!

Brilliant bar. Really friendly locals. The owners are old school and so nice. I love the older look in this bar but the best part is the atmosphere. Always a good crowd.

Lovely cosy atmosphere. Old but modern style with great selection of beers, spirits, wines etc Lovely staff, clean toilets which always is a plus.💯👌 A very relaxed enjoyable eve had by all. And nice beer garden with music 🎶🎵☀️👌 What more could a girl ask for ☺️

Haven't had a Guinness in over 10 years, just sort of went off it....until the other day....when I had the most delicious creamy glass in Foleys. A real Irish pub feel inside

Went there back in October with the girlfriend whose family is from Sligo. A wonderful pint, so good I had to go back the next morning. The landlord's a great guy, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from an Irish pub. I can't fault the Guinness, I will be returning and happily given them my custom on our next visit.

A great stop off. Staff extremely helpful and knowledge re the whiskey. Will call again. Thank you.

Love this place. Just stopped in for a pint of Guinness, a very nice one it was too. Bumped in to a fellow musician who had seen me perform with the London Lasses some years previous at another lovely bar, Cryans in Carrick on Shannon. Had the best craic. And the price is very reasonable too. Will be back for sure

Great punt and interesting customers. Always someone to chat to. They even chat to an annoying eegit like me

Probably the least pretentious place in Europe. Old and stuffy in charming sort of way, original decor, community oriented and plenty of TVs. Both friendly locals and barman. Nice for a cold Guiness and whatever sport floats your boat, schedule of sport posted out front of bar. Visited from New Zealand.

Cracking little local pub. Nice and cosy, always a great atmosphere. Plenty of screens for sports, and a beautiful pint.

Good variety of drink. My only issue is the owners wife when she's on always charge's Extra on all spirit drink in off-licence

Attached to this pub is a whiskey shop where we found our favorite whiskey for sale, Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve! We promptly made our purchase and the owner invited us over to the other side which is the pub. This is by far the most quaint pub experience we had in country. We really felt like we were getting a nice, small town pub experience in a nice sized city. Great visit.

Excellent selection of beers for such a small off license. Even found White Hag Hopstravaganza so I was very happy

Racing on the telly, betting slips in the corner, retired jockeys sipping pints. An old-style zirish boozer with bags of character and great Guinness. Live music too.

Great local bar. Friendly staff. Punters great craic. Great local Sligo humor. Sports on all over the shop. Football, racing, you name it they showing it, if they don't have on, what you're looking for, they'll get it for you, if at all possible. Beer garden out the bar . Spotles toilets. Highly recommend.
