This is the most incredible place. Let me go in order of least to greatest. First of, we just came from a diamond star hotel in Philadelphia, which had excellent customer service, but once I got to the Riverside it made them seem like basic customer service. They went above and beyond in every aspect, whether it was making sure we were okay when we checked in, or making sure we were genuinely happy rather than going through the motions, or their generally upbeat happy, almost family mannered staff that make you feel at home. The rooms were excellent and is a model for energy conservation without losing any quality what so ever. On top of all this the whole hotel is next to a beautiful river and the rooms overlooking them are outstanding views. The breakfast is top quality making me not feel like I'm losing anything or being cheap by staying in for breakfast, I'd actually rather stay in, between the above average food and the incredibly nice (and accommodating) staff is just a very pleasant bonus. Even the bar they have there have live entertainment and excellent lunch as well (salmon special is amazing) with, again, amazingly accommodating hosts. You could basically live in the hotel day and night and not miss much of the outside world between breakfast, your room, a great nightlife within the hotel, and an incredible staff that make you never want to leave.

very comfortable hotel, our room even had a view on the river. Breakfast was nice and service excellent. Only the parking space in front of the hotel is very limited so you have to park at a public one just down the road.

Didn't stay here just had a bite to eat and a cup of tea staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and I would dine there again. The location is beautifully only 10 mins to town centre.

The riverside hotel in Sligo is beautifully located on the riverside right next to the old town. The room are spacious and equipped with decent machines. The shower is neat and has a nice smelling shampoos. The breakfast was too Irish more bacon and sausage and hardly any fruit

Such a beautiful setting right on the river, best hotel bars I've been in, friendly hard working staff and the food is top notch, I'm not a fan of hotel stays but this hotel makes you feel at home.

We had a family gathering for the weekend. We spent a lot of time about the hotel, in the restaurant and bar. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, starting with Arthur at reception. Weather wasn’t kind to us. But being so central, we could get out or back in 10 minutes.

We had a lovely stay, rooms are nice with tea and instant coffee, very clean and quiet but close to everything, nice town. Nice breakfast too.

What a great location on this little river. 10 min walk to all the great pubs and restaurants. One of our favourite stops so far.

Staff are all fantastic. Rooms are good, nice size, I just didn't like the soap set up so had to go with a 4. Loved the location along the River. Good for walks and yet still very convenient to everything the town has to offer. Live music every weekend evening. Great restaurant and bar. I would definitely recommend.

Loved our river view room, so lovely and peaceful! Location is excellent! All staff were very smiley and friendly - including the accommodation team we met in the hallways. Bed and pillows were really comfy! We only deducted a star because there was no drinking water supplied in the room and we couldn’t help but feel it’s the very least that should be offered/included when paying €200+ for a night without breakfast.

Brilliant hotel, great staff and food. Will definitely come back. Not too big or too small and the bar is great.

This hotel can be one of the best places you visit in Sligo. Right by the water so you get great views, and an easy walk to from the bus stop or taking a look around town. The staff are super helpful and kind, especially Arthur at the reception desk who answered all my questions with great wit and charm. Breakfast was mostly very good, and the hotel is very accessible and clean.

Very nice, good value, great staff and location. Nice restaurant and live music in the bar. Room cosy and clean. Will be back. Special thanks to the Night auditor who got me a great (much needed!) coffee in the morning before the breakfast staff came. Quiet room, we stayed 4 nights over the bank holiday and while the place was buzzing with parties, hens, little witches and wizards it was never noisy or messy. You can see staff cleaning all the time. Feeling well looked after. Will be back!

Love this hotel. I stayed in a double room, with a river view. My priority when traveling is a good bed; this one was great. The location is excellent and is a 2 minute walk from bars and restaurants. I would have stayed longer but had a reservation in Donegal. The staff was helpful and super nice. I'll be back.

Staff were excellent. From check in at reception to the bar and cafe, you were made to feel very welcome. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a great riverside view of the Garvoge. Breakfast was top notch. Location is decent amd only a few minutes walk to town centre. Not many car parking spaces on site but you can park for free at the County Council building just further down the road.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with even more beautiful staff. Everyone is super helpful, friendly and always smiling. From the 3 wonderful ladies at the Reception, to all the FnB service staff, including some HK staff that we meet in the corridors and of course, the fun loving guys and girl at The Mill Bar. My wife and myself visited for 2 nights but we seriously wish we stayed longer. The view from the room is breathtaking. The cleanliness of everything is impeccable. It truly is a 5 star standard hotel with 3 star affordability. We will definitely return there when we visit Sligo because of its location as well. Walking distance to almost everything in the city. You couldn't ask for anything more. Please visit this place to experience true Irish hospitality at its best.

Did a spur of the moment Christmas Night Away and it was fab. Lovely location perfect for work the next morning. Delicious 😋 tea in the bar and a great selection of breakfast choices next morning served with a smile. The ladies on reception both at check in and out were lovely. Value for money in Sligo Town right in the centre and easy walking distance to other pubs, restaurants Would highly recommend just sorry didn't get a longer stay!!

Short stay here Spacious and clean rooms. Nice atmospheric bar. Didn't have dinner but food looked good. Breakfast was plenty. There is not much parking at the hotel but ample space in a nearby council carpark.

It was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. Very modern and clean with friendly staff all round. Hearty and good quality breakfast, lovely bar, great river view to watch (and chat to) fly fisherman. Great location and lots of free parking just a short walk away if the hotel car park is full.

Stayed here recently and it was lovely. Food in the bar was very nice both nights. The breakfast is very good especially the rashers . And next to it is Ripples coffee shop also excellent 👌. Location is great too. Not much parking and the bar shuts dead on 11 o'clock which is very disappointing as a resident.

Lovely hotel with great staff and customer service. Great breakfast, cafe and bar. Had a super king, Riverside view, corner room. As everything else was fully booked. So was more expensive than would usually go for. Room was nice, and the view was amazing... To start with. When it came to sleeping, the noise of the river crashing, even with the windows closed was quite overwhelming. It made it very difficult to sleep and ended up giving me a headache. Nice view, bad night's sleep.

Stayed there for 2 nights with My parents and siblings and had a really great time. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and the food in the restaurant was gorgeous (We had only intended to eat in the hotel restaurant on one of our evenings there but the food was was so good, we ended up eating there the second evening too. We'll be back.

We visited Ripples cafe in the Riverside hotel on a Sunday for Breakfast. Breakfast is advertised that it finishes at one and we rushed in a arrived at the counter at 12:50. We were informed that breakfast had finished and after we pointed out the time and for the girl to check if the “ kitchen was up for it” we got given our breakfast menus with a smile. I had the breakfast bap and the wife had pancakes. I have to say that I really enjoyed the bap as you could tell only quality ingredients were used. The place is situated right beside the river and has a lovely atmosphere. Parking is limited in the tiny car park and can be tricky to get a spot along the road. I sorry to say it’s a place we tend to forget because of its location just that bit away from Sligo centre but its worth visiting. You do pay a premium price but you can see where that money goes. We are so lucky to have so many great places to eat in Sligo and Ripples is another example.

Clean hotel with very comfortable beds in large rooms. All staff were very courteous & professional. We had two rooms both overlooking the entrance court yard. The first night the function room below had a children's party with pumping dance music until 9pm. No big deal but the adults in attendance were fairly rowdy & fond of smoking. We could hear everything they said & smell every cigarette they smoked. Again no big deal but not something you'd look for either. Around 6:30am the linen delivery for the hotel arrived & boy did this make some racket. The metal cage on wheels was bashed & smashed in & out of the truck and up & down the concrete side entrance to the hotel. Thankfully as I said the beds are super comfortable and we got back to sleep. It might not be as bad when the weather is cooler as we needed to keep the balcony door open as like most hotel rooms they are above normal room temperature. Breakfast was nice & service was good in the bar. Our relations had a room overlooking the river which seem to be the plum rooms to get. Good proximity to the centre of Sligo. Nice food in the cafe below although the outside seating area looks a bit tired. ESB 22kV charger just outside the hotel. Great base from which to travel around Sligo from.

Fantastic "does what it says on the tin" hotel. It's perfect for a quick weekend stay, not the most luxurious but clean ,modern and a fantastic location for walking around town. Great value for money and the staff were just superb, will be glad to come back for a stay

Everything was great ,friendly staff, good food , value for money. Great location. The only bit of feedback I would give is that the artificial fire in the foyer wasn't very welcoming and gave no atmosphere to that area which was nicely furnished it definitely I feel would look better with a more natural stove or just something more real. I'll be back

A fantastic stay. The room was really clean, the staff were so, so friendly but the star of the show was the breakfast. The fry up was outstanding! I will not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. There is free parking 2 minutes away and in the evening we had a fantastic live musician.

Lovely hotel, very clean, great staff, very friendly, the only problem, you have to pay for everything you order at the time you order it. I would prefer if I was asked for a room number as a security instead of paying for every single coffee or every single cocktail separately. Other than that, very nice place.

Excellent hotel! The room was clean and modern! Great location on the riverside. The only complaint is the lack of parking at the hotel itself, but free parking 3min walk away so can't complain too much. The staff were friendly. Definitely recommend
