One of the best spots in sligo must try it. The fish tacos are so good sweet potatoes as well MUST TRY . Fish and chips are nice as well The desserts are so good don’t miss the set menu cheaper and better . Be aware the portions are big .

Good food, but a bit expensive. The location tho is great, and the service is very good too. Although the name and the decoration look like a place where you’d find sea food, their menu is not that focused on seafood. But again, good food. Almost forgot. They didn’t have Guinness, that and the prices are mainly the reason of the 4 stars and not 5.

We stopped here for brunch while in the Sligo, Ireland area. We loved it. Honestly, it was some of the best food we ate in our two weeks in Ireland. The brioche french toast and eggs benedict were amazing. You can tell that they use a lot of local products because the flavors blended together so well. Decor was cool too. And all the staff we interacted with were wonderfully talkative, down to earth, and friendly.

Not gonna lie but the food was very nice . That being said, the take out option is not the best. If you look at leo Burdocks and look at Hooked there is a big difference in the same price. Also 1. There was no salt and vinegar offered into the take out bag. I have never ate Haddock before but it was nice. The restaurant is beautiful very clean and very nicely laid out . The staff are nice and very friendly. If I owned Hooked, I would get rid of the takeaway option, I can only imagine that this was created because of covid. I would recommend Hooked anyone going there 💯 It is situated in a prime and beautiful location. I was working this day when i visited but I'm going back with my wife guaranteed

Absolutely delicious! The staff were so friendly. We didn't have a booking for a Saturday night and they squeezed us right in. Pork tacos, goat cheese salad, shrimp balls, kids meals all were amazing. Great efficient service and delicious food. So happy we chose Hooked!

First....This is not the same Hooked in Galway. LOL Apparently everyone asks the staff so might as well do a PSA. The food at this Hooked is great. More on the casual side and MOST certainly kids friendly. The staff is beyond friendly and efficient. Highly recommended and would definitely go back when we're in Sligo next.

Hmm...where do I start...can i give 0 zero stars!!! Good looking place...deceptive menu...firstly the prices outside the door don't match the actual prices of the menu at the table. Surely thats not legal. Secondly the only reason we went in was the 'vegan' breakfast. But in closer inspection...its not..there's butter used!!!! Thirdly French toast was ordered by my party...11 Euro for 2 slices of toast with one strawberry as garnish! What a rip off...don't go!! Fond another place in Sligo.

When visiting Sligo my partner and I saw this pop up near the Riverside Hotel and stopped in for dinner. Cute, eclectic ambience with outdoor seating if the weather is nice, and friendly wait staff. I ordered the Cajun chicken gyro with seasoned fries. It was good and would recommend it if someone didn't want sea food or was curious about it. My partner ordered the fish and chips. Overall she liked the meal but either the breading or the fish tasted like 'a barn'. If you are in Sligo and want sea food this would be a place to check out.

Can’t recommend this place enough. We were greeted quickly and shown to a table. We sat outside. Service was quick and attentive. The food was made with high quality ingredients. See photos for what we got but honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to go back. Very reasonably priced too.

Good choice for lunch. Great ambiance, food was delicious. First look it sounds fusion but they do the dishes very well. Does not feel right to order chicken in a fish place but it works. Korean fried chicken has a lot of umami flavour and has the right amount of heat for us. Fish and chips has a crispy batter and flaky flesh. Kids fish and chips comes with one fish instead of 2 for adults.

I've been fortunate enough to dine at this exceptional restaurant on two separate occasions, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit. Located beside the river in the center of Sligo town, it's a true gem that stands out in every way. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant's unique atmosphere, marked by abstract and quirky decor, creates a memorable setting. The service is prompt and attentive, whether you choose to dine indoors or outside. But it's the food that truly steals the show. I've tried pancakes, egg Benedict and other breakfast dishes are outstanding. The use of high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite, and what's even more impressive is the reasonable pricing. In summary, this restaurant is a standout in Sligo town, and my two visits have left me eagerly anticipating the next. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable dining experienc

The ambience is quirky and instagrammable. The food and service falls short. The fish and chips especially was average at best. The pastries were not fresh. All in all an average experience. Service is not great and staff are not trained properly. Seems to be rush rush even if there's no one.

If you happen to find yourself in Sligo, you have to try this place. Locally sourced and delicious. We had the goat cheese bruschetta and salad, buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and the spicy sweet potato bowl. A wonderful. Real from pub food and seafood!

Casual atmosphere. Great staff. Food was delicious. I got a blueberry and goat cheese salad with pomegranate seeds and pecans. Perfect! Hubby got a chicken burger that he said was really good also. I would recommend this place.

What a gem of a spot!! The front door is about to collapse due to all the foodie accolades adorning this place! The location is great, beside the river in the centre of Sligo town. I went for the Mac and cheese with chicken. The wife had the buttermilk chicken burger. The food was excellent. Service was excellent 👍👍👍 Will be back, delighted we stumbled across it!

I went to this place based on other people's reviews. It did not disappoint. Staff are lovely and attentive. Decor is quirky, very nice and the large windows look out over the river. Great choice of food and the chicken burger was delicious. Highly recommend.

Wonderful breakfast, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff, the service was fast and great. We had Donegal Smoked Salmon Fishcakes and the Smashed Avocado Toast both were delicious, the Hollandaise sauce and the side salads were amazing and super tasty. We had a cappuccino too was ok, not my favorite tho. I also loved the interior, very unique. Definitely will go again and will try some desserts😋 Update: visited again, tried new stuff, the food is delicious. They really need to work on their coffee, very bad.

nice and lively place, you would enjoy the experience and vide. When we get there all tables were taken, were in area so reserve a table for next day. Food is just okay. i wish table top wasn’t sticky and had the tiny tap water jar topped up for four people. But again it has nice vibe and I would be back there to sit outside for a coffee or a quick bite.

We had a recommendation to eat at Hooked and were glad we did. The staff were lovely and friendly. Great decor and we were spoilt for choice with the menu. The restaurant is located in a lovely courtyard but also faces the river. There is outdoor seating too. Would also be great for lunch as their cake selection looked amazing.

A top class establishment. This restaurant does it different to the ordinary. The food is tasty with fabulous presentation. The service is efficient and friendly, 3 servers enquiring if all was satisfactory. The atmosphere was unique with abstract/quirky decor and nice background music. Prices were reasonable. Well worth a visit.

That's a great, fancy restaurant just besides the river. I loved the menu so much, there is a lot of interesting options to choose. We ate Crispy Beef Bao Bun and Chicken Gyro. In overall both were good but there was something missing, maybe sauce or toppings inside, don't describe but it could have been more flavourful as it tasted a bit plain to us. That's why I gave 4 rather than 5.

Probably in the top five meals of my entire life! The goat cheese bruschetta was to die for. Fish tacos also great. Hooked mini doughnuts with caramel and Nutella and ice cream for dessert—out of this world. Great location in central Sligo on the water. The coolest vibe ever! Great service! We even loved their playlist of music. I am definitely hooked on Hooked!

This was a disappointing meal after a run of very good meals in Ireland. Our server was wearing a stained and holey tshirt. Service was slow and inconsistent. A different server knocked into our table knocking over a plate and hurried off with no acknowledgement. the signage and menu touted "local" ingredients but the food was not memorable. For a place named "hooked" I expected better fish when the sea is 1K away.
