So very disappointed with their handling of a 'returned dish' scenario this evening by me. I have never encountered this in all my dining out life and I have eaten all over the world. Pity as I have used this restaurant many times previously and it was a joy. Their loss.

Stopped over in Sligo to find a place to eat and got very lucky with my choice. It’s an upscale restaurant, not the track suit and a jumper type of place 😉 The price is not too bad for the incredible quality and taste of the the food, I certainly recommend, seems like an ideal date restaurant.

My partner, my two friends and I dined in 2 weeks ago. The food was excellent, but what put our experience above the rest was the excellent service that we received. Our server, Eva, was attentive, polite and overall lovely. We could not have asked for a better evening. We had a truly delightful time.

We sat outside at the one table left, but there was only one chair so we had to go get our own chair. It took a little bit to order food and then it wasn’t for another 10min after we had ordered food to get the wine list we had asked for, then another 10-15min after that to get water. By that time we were almost ready to leave. Inside seemed like a nice atmosphere. Outside was ok. I like sitting on the street, but it’s nothing fancy. Nothing labelled vegan on the menu. We got the vegetarian pizza, mushroom bruschetta, and the penne pasta, all sub for vegan cheese. The mushroom bruschetta was really good, the pizza was ok, and the penne was just ok. I tried putting the chilli oil on the pizza and penne but it didn’t seem to add any flavour or kick.

I was few times here, so everything was gorgeous, but not today: waitress didn’t come to my table for a very long time and was serving one table next to me, and after all they asked me to wait another 2 minutes, and I decided to leave, because it’s not known how long I would have to sit. It was outside.

Well situated in the centre of the action in Sligo. It's not open everyday, so check if you are travelling. I went for the spaghetti carbonara which was spot on. They have a pizza oven and my son wolfed down his margarita pizza. Staff were very friendly, would recommend.

Dog friendly (outside covered tables) restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Can see the river down the alley from the outside tables. Had an interesting chat with the owner and a delicious lasagne to top off our night. Zoe loved it and we will go there again when back in beautiful Sligo town.

Great food and excellent service.Staff were very friendly. Sea food pasta was excellent(If you don't have tongue for spice ask for less red chilli in the pasta). Would highly recommend it.

Lovely, the olives are to die for. Starter (mozzarella salad with pomegranate, beans, orange) so fresh and vibrant. Mains always good and tasty, despite filling up I had to finish the plate. Definitely worth a visit - make sure to book!

Got pasta and chips as a take away and was amazing. Got chicken as an extra and expected wee bits instead got massive chunks from a full breast cut up. Will definitely order again.

BB restaurant in Sligo is one of the most popular in the town🫣 Friday evening you have to book a table, otherwise no chance to eat over there. Italian dishes in Irish interpretation but good and tasty. Unfortunately the service is quite unprofessional, you wait for drinks and order for ages, once the order is wrong, you wait forever again and your friends have already eaten. The service does not make you relax and have a nice time.

We had the best Italian dish there, of all places, in Sligo. Had linguine with chicken in a white sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere. Good menu and wine list

There are good reviews here but unfortunately my experience was not great. The service was ok but the food was nothing special at all. The place had a good atmosphere but one thing was lacking, not an Italian person in sight which is a flag for me for an Italian restaurant. Would I try it again, probably not as there is a finer Italian not far from here….

During my recent visit to this restaurant with friends, we encountered a disappointing dining experience. Our wait for the food exceeded an hour, and when my order of pizza finally arrived, it fell far short of my expectations. Unfortunately, it was one of the least satisfying pizzas I've had in Ireland. I've found better options at the nearby kebab place for a fraction of the price. I hesitate to offer a strong recommendation for this establishment based on my recent experience. While I don't typically leave negative reviews, this visit was marked by a series of disappointments that have left me with a less favorable impression.

Ordered bistro bianconi pizza for takeaway last weekend, this is one of my favorites and has been the exact same pizza the last 20 years, when I got home I was extremely disappointed to find that the toppings have been replaced with cheaper alternatives, the base was also tough and chewy, heartbroken. All I can do now is reminisce over old pictures of the bianconi in its prime and think of happier times.

Definitely call for reservation - they were very busy (it was a Saturday night). 🙂 Friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely (complimentary) olives to start the meal. Solid wine/liquor menu -- Including dealcoholized red or white wine! Brownie with ice cream was wonderful. Seafood pasta was a lovely sauce and plenty of seafood with perfectly timed pasta. 😍 My only wish was for the pizza crust to have been better fired. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. A bit more zing in the sauce (basil or salted olive oil, maybe?) would be nice but that's just a suggestion, it was fine. However, the crust was 'just ok'. Based on pictures from before reopening (before lockdown?) I thought it was going to be a thicker/wood fired base but it seemed pretty standard/almost too flat. I'd still go back and fully recommend Bistro Bianconi. 🤗 Just not for the pizza if you're looking for that something extra out of your pie.

I had the Bistro Bianconi pizza and she had the seafood pasta. Both were superb. The service was excellent, pleasant but efficient. Lovely atmosphere. Will be back.

So disappointed in my Seafood pizza. It wasn't tasty, overpowered by anchovies, and not cheap at all. Fishcake was good, but 10 Euro for one is a bit pricey. Having said that, people seemed to enjoy their pasta, and the place was very busy , so they must do something right. I would give it another go.

I've not been a fan of the bistro for a long time. Was in recently and unfortunately it's just not worth it. The food is eidble/fine (that's all I can say the last 3 times I've been), the service was good as always, but the menu has been reduced and the prices are crazy. Won't be going back any time soon.

Cozy place, definitely reserve before going, but you can walk in in the less busy hours Their interior was very interesting, staff is very friendly and very good service. Appetizers were great specially the aubergine, the Jalapeño poppers was also great but was a bit cold. We tried the chicken pesto pizza, the crust was very good the pesto sauce was not that great. Will try them again and give my full judgment soon!

Traditional wood oven pizza & italian restaurant. Their brie salad is excellent as a starter and if you choose a 12 inch pizza you can split it with 2 different topings. Their black pudding pizza was an interesting experience to try but they have a large menu of other food options and drinks.

Our waiter was so nice! We got there early enough to get the early bird menu. My pizza was decent. One of my sons had the early bird with two courses the tortellini was spectacular. The olives are so so. Again our waiter was super great and friendly. All in all a very nice evening. They also have a pretty big wine list.

A gorgeous restaurant with the friendliest man to greet you at the door. Such a lovely, relaxing experience with delicious food.

Outstanding staff and probably the best pasta I've ever had (aglio olio with mussels and prawns). If you go there you must try the garlic bread and the Tiramisu as well. Top-notch.
