The food was amazing, this is one of the rare places where you can get some spicy food. The employees were really friendly, I went there with my family and infact it was 2nd birthday for my baby. They did take care of a few things that made us really happy. We have tried a few menu items and we loved it. I recommend this place.

Ordered online and collected in 15 Minutes. Had BBQ Ribs, Thai Mango Chicken and Chicken Salt and Chilli Pepper. Food was fresh, hot and very tasty. Generous portions! The Ribs could have done with more spice, was a bit bland. Overall good value for money. Absolutely recommend Jalan Jalan Sligo. Update May 2022: Went back to Jalan Jalan first time after it reopened post-covid. Had no Reservation but was offered a table immediately. Service was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Jalan Jalan BBQ Ribs and the Wok fried Duck. It was fresh, very tasty, flavoursome and a generous portion. Simply gorgeous Food! Update November 2023: The menu has changed a little but the service and food are still excellent. Everything I ordered was delicious and served quickly with a smile. The portion sizes are great too. You definitely won't leave here hungry. You're doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

Bright interior opens the slightly cramped tables and lovely/friendly staff all around who helped fit us in before their dinner rush started. The food is more westernized than authentic but keeping that in mind it was tasty. Also large portions and properly cooked - the chicken in the udon was so tender! Both appetizers were slightly overcooked but that just gave a bit extra crunch. 🤗 Cheesecake was delicious and just the right size to finish a meal.

Just back from lovely meal in understandably bustling Jalan Jalan. Excellent fresh food and great atmosphere. But staff made it. Kids wanted apple juice, no problem, waiter nipped out and got some in shop. Later saw him being particularly kind to an older regular customer. Little touches go a long way.

Ordered the Ipoh Kari Duck Noodle soup. Very large portion and tasty. Can't wait to try out the other dishes soon

Wonderful Food, Fantastic & Freindly Staff. Lovely Decor. Great Menu. Excellent Selection of Beers. We visited here a few years back when staying in Sligo. Searched for good places to eat and we were pleasantly surprised to find an Asian themed eatery with great reviews. I was in Sligo last week (Mon 8th Nov) and all I could think about that day was Jalan Jalan and if it was as good as it had been a few years prior. Safe to say its still absolutely fantastic and I'm delighted I chose to re-visit.

Went there with my family and we got a really friendly service. The staff were very attentive to my toddler and paid a great attention to our needs. The food was really tasty too and there are nice options for people with allergies and special diets. And I have to mention that I absolutely loved the music choice, which was the best hits from the 70s-80s.

We visited Jalan Jalan for dinner, and were super happy to see that they had such a great selection of vegan food (do ask for a vegan menu upon arrival)! The portions were very generous as well. Not too expensive, and AMAZING flavours. The only negative was that it was very noisy, so I had a very hard time hearing what my company (and the server) said.

It's crowded almost every time. If you're planning to hop in on a weekend better reserve a table for yourself. Delicious food and a cozy place.

Every town has multiple Asian style restaurants, and they are generally pretty decent. Sligo is lucky enough to have Jalan Jalan, and decent doesn’t cover it… Penned as serving the “best Asian street food in Sligo”, and having a comprehensively diverse menu, this little eatery stands head and shoulders above anything else in town! No matter what you might fancy, there will be something to tickle your tastebuds, and vegetarian or vegan options are made to look every bit as mouth watering as the meat dishes available. Starters are amazing, with lots of different Asian rolls and skewers - the Malaysian Satay Ayam skewers are to die for. Mains are from all areas in the East, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, and there is nothing that I wouldn’t like to try, ranging from mild to “smoke coming out your ears spicy”… the Laji Prawns are a personal favourite, even when your mouth goes on fire with the dried chilli’s… for the milder taste, Mango Chicken has it all, so much flavour and incredibly fresh. If you haven’t tried it, give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. It’s the freshest, tastiest oriental treat, this side of the Szechuan Provence, and Sligo is lucky to have it. Jalan Jalan, so good they named it twice! 😊🥢

Jalan Jalan is one of my favourite places to eat in Sligo. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We order from the vegan menu which has lots of options! Food is always outstanding, never a bad experience. Even the vegan dessert is exceptional. Definitely recommend.

Great dinner at Jalan Jalan. Not the best pad thaï I ever had but was still very good! Low fish sauce taste for those that don’t like it! Place is very busy, better get a reservation.

The food is okay. It’s nothing like in asia but it’s okay. The satay chicken was great but the curry was way too sweet. It was more like eating a dessert than eating a meal. And the service didn’t really know their own menu. Asked if there was egg in one dish and she said that I wont see it and it had scrambled egg in it.

I had a lovely dinner with my husband here this evening. The food was great and the service was friendly and fast. Lovely decorations too. We will definitely be back. For a Monday night, they were full, so try to make a reservation any night of the week. I definitely recommend the Korean chicken wings and noodle soups.

Gorgeous tasty food & we were served by a lovely asian waitress. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but would love to give her a shout out as she's an asset to the place, she couldn't do enough for us & made the whole experience all the more enjoyable. She was so funny & friendly. There was 4 of us away on a girls weekend & all of us were very happy with everything from start to finish. Great atmosphere here & would definitely return. Highly recommended!!!

Didn't really enjoy my experience this time surprisingly. Was told there were no tables available and that they were fully booked for the night so I asked for a noodle soup take away and was also refused so ordered a different dish and when I collected it I seen there were in fact seats available that they could have sat me at as I was on my own. Was told they were short staffed and ended up paying 17.50 for a curry & rice that I had to go and eat in the park. Food was delicious as always but customer service was lacking on this occasion unfortunately

We don't eat too often Asian style. Therfore the assistance we received from the hostess in making our choice for diner was very welcome and appreciated. We really loved the food, very tender en tasty! Recommend to anyone!

Vietnamese duck salad with lots of lettuce, duck rolls good but more veg than duck, crispy duck good but without souce would be better. Great chips! Sticky toffee pudding good but really sweet. Great service, nice atmosphere. Good cappuccino ☕️

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our table booking, despite being fully booked. The service was impeccable, and the food was not only plentiful but also incredibly delicious. If you enjoy Asian cuisine and have traveled to Asian countries, you'll appreciate the authentic and superb flavors this restaurant has to offer. Overall, it's definitely a place worth visiting!" Sligo - you are lucky to have it in your town )) Will try to come back ! Ps. They have gluten free menu ! Range of gluten free options was pretty cool!!!!!! Love it !

Friendly Staff, a good restaurant. They have lots of options. But I didn't like the flavor of the food, but that's just my taste.

It’s a great Asian restaurant. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options available here. The food is quite delicious and you can also request them to adjust the spice level. They are very accommodating and even replaced a dish for a friend who found the food too spicy. The staff is lovely and the service is quick.
