This is about the new infrastructure they have out side since 15 March 2022 The renovated McDonald's opened on 15 March.Brand new interior,new seating,New large ordering screens. Instead of the old one lane for drive through,they 2 lanes for drive through orders,which should reduce waiting time. They have changed the entrance and put plenty of outside seating with transparent glass walls, which should prevent wind and will be nice to sit on a good sunny day.Part of that is covered. Since reopening lot of complaints about poor service ,long waiting times,less stock hope that will improve soon.

Very disappointed with the service and quality of the food in this establishment! Had to wait over 40 minutes for my food and was then given burgers so burnt they where inedible !!!! This seems to be a common occurrence in this McDonald’s.

I was pleasantly suprised by Daniel. He, with haste, brought out my 12 hash browns with a mcslurry in 13 seconds. He greeted me with a Jimmy Saville grin, clicked his heels and burst out with a belly laugh that shook the heavens. Big up Daniel he should get a pay rise of my name is not Francis Higgins

Dreadful. Waiting around 30 minutes for our food. When it came the plant burger and burger were almost cold. They'd obviously been left sitting for a while as the chips were hot, just cooked. Items missing from our order too. Debbie was very nice and was very apologetic about the long wait we had for our good. We weren't the only ones. So many others were complaining too

Surprisingly good strong coffee, get loyalty sticker's too so get your 7th cup free. This mc Donalds has a drive through which is extremely handy. The place was remodeled last year with additional outdoor seating at the front if you prefer to sit out there. Also has 6 touch screens inside to order from.

A few times Iv asked for a PLAIN chicken wrap meal but still had veg on it and bf also found a long black hair in his burger gave us no ketchup napkins or salt staff barley even said hi in fact only 1 did idk what has happened to the place

Called this afternoon 4’ish Super attentive staff Clean table Speedy Service pity about the food … Burgers and fries were cold and I mean “cold” I’d returned my burger for a replacement before I realised that the M fries were also cold. My wife and daughter couldn’t be bothered returning theirs … Have eaten in a lot of Mc Donald’s - I regret to say that food wise - this has to have been the. Worst On a positive note / Coffee was hot as was the “Apple Pie” Noticed assistant (Patricia) being particularly attentive to elderly gentleman sitting nearby ! Won’t be rushing back there I’m afraid

ordered 3 burgers got two and the third burger was missing the meat. so i payed for 3 and got two but everything else was fine

they missed to add a sandwich " double quarter pounder" for second time you have to double check the order again .. very bad team and branch.. and i have esclate to just eat and they tell me we will return the amount after 5 working day ...😅😅😅😅

Very helpful staff, they were so busy and food too a bit long but that's what can happen when it's so busy. Staff were so kind to another family sitting next to us. When their little girl got very upset, the staff member supported the parent and helped the little girl to relax. Very fast at cleaning tables. 👍 👌

The staff were very rude, especially the kitchen staff, when refund was asked the order was wrong TWICE, she under refunded and when I was asking how it was calculated she just walked off, no one answered for 10 mins before manager came out apologising. She’s nice but she needs to hire better staff. Not ONE staff was nice today, NOT ONE, all staff were rude and uninterested in their job

Things must tight up there lately because my burgers are always dry and I haven't been given any sauces or napkins in the drive thru in about 6 months. I am surprised if I get the right food half the time. That place has gone to the dogs.

Please note this McDonald's (Sligo) is not a fast food restaurant. The waiting time for 2 wraps, 2 burgers, 3 apple pies and 2 iced coffees was 55 minutes, we ordered at 19.44, got the food around 20.35. The management should train the staff, the girl said there's only 6 people working. It's not the customers' problem that they don't have enough staff. They should put some notice, waiting time 1 hour. The staff is not helpfull, communication very poor and the place very dirty. Avoid this place.

It literally took 30 mins for our food to arrive. No apology or explanation from staff. Then was given the wrong flavour milkshake twice. Every table was full but no one had food on their tables

Slowest McDs on the planet. 30 minutes in the drive through. And the state of the bins... seagulls and crows ripping all the bags apart. Manky.

Had to bring food back twice as completely cold. Nobody had a clue what they were doing. Another customer didn't even get his food and was told there was an issue in the kitchen. Around 6 people in total in the place

Always hit when shopping there they have my favourite apple pie's. There are two outstanding staff members there that are always helpful. i must get their names. One is the manager, i believe, and the other is a very nice lady who is supervisor care of the sitting area

Took over 30 mins for food to come, the restaurant was full and no one was being served. One lady working behind the till who seemed to be the only person doing anything. Once order came had to send drink back twice as it was wrong both times. No explanation for anything just hand ed food.

Went to drive tru ordered a breckfast roll meal. Took a bit of time to get it. Drove home and its a bacon bap. Went back exchanged it. Took more time drove home and yet again a bacon bap. When I went back it was after 11 and could not get another breckfast roll meal. Got a refund off a smirky supervisor. What is wrong with the staff in there.

Has to be the worst McDonalds ever. We often visit various McDonalds as my son enjoys it, and any time we are in Sligo our experience is very poor. The wait time is very long, food is usually cold and there is always at least one or two items incorrect.

Disappointed in this place, sat inside waiting for an hour for our food, mum went up to the counter multiple times to ask about our food, they said they were busy and we needed to wait, mum goes up there one last time and they said that they didn’t even put our order through. Do Better!!! Give the kids that work for you some incentive so that they’ll actually feel like doing the job probably

Took my daughter for a happy meal and an ice cream! Being from california and have worked in McDonald's myself for over a decade I have to leave this review. I absolutely hate the new electronic menu order system! Takes away from the invigorating experience of face to face interaction with good old fashioned people. So we ordered our food via board but came in for the ice cream. The young manager that helped us was kind and very helpful! He did a wonderful job and has excellent customer service skills! The other staff was friendly and on top of their cleaning tasks! I do recommend eating at this location and if you have the lovely experience of ordering from a person, hope you get the nice young man that made our day out trip wonderful for my daughter with her ice cream! I always find the food is very nice here. Warm and a fresh taste. Normally prity quick deal with big numbers.

Best macdonalds I have been too anywhere, it was the first time ever in a macdonalds that a staff member came over and asked if everything was alright, it's so clean and there staff are good with families

Nice new building The wrap was torn and a bit cold The waiting time was quite long. I think there may have been technical difficulties as the queue screen was showing "windows2012" instead of the queuing tickets

Staff were friendly, premises was very clean. Place was jammed. Service was a good bit slower because of this. There did not seem to be much urgency with serving customers.

Awful experience. i ordered my food and the girl who was taking my order started laughing and clearly wasn’t t listening as my order was completely incorrect. i am allergic to ketchup but sure enough there was ketchup on my burger. one thing for sure i will definitely not be returning here

Absolutely brutal McDonald's, seriously like how the hell can a fast food place run out of salt! This McDonald's really is the worst in Ireland. They never give the sauces unless you ask and even when you do they rarely have them, food is usually cold and queues are literally out through the carpark. Zero standards in comparison to other stores.
