Lovely restaurant. The menu has a really nice selection to choose from and given the quality of the food and cooking the prices are very reasonable. The food was presented beautifully, portion sizes generous and our starters and mains were so delicious - a great balance of flavours. Staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive. The wine list had a good selection of French wines by the glass, half bottle or bottle. This restaurant will be top of my list when I return to Sligo again.

Fantastic friendly waitstaff. The sea bass wrapped in filo paper was really moist and good. The mussels broth was slightly creamy and really good. Great meal and value!

The food and service was amazing. The grilled cheese and patte was delicious, my favourite savoury dishes. For dessert the creme brulee was phenomenal, the best I've ever had. The chocolate whisky cheese cake was also good, but I thought the creme brulee was better. Overall the experience was great!

Myself and 3 of my friends dined here a few days before Christmas. Overall the experience was very good. The menu was varied and the food was well presented, tasted lovely and good value. The service however was very slow and we had a considerable wait from seating to ordering first courses. There were 2-3 waiting staff and it was clearly not enough to deal with capacity. The staff themselves were very professional and polite and I do understand they were being challenged and stretched. The atmosphere was lovely but would suggest mobile heater to be upgraded and perhaps a new tree next year.

Beautiful French cuisine, great service, and very reasonable prices. One of my favourite restaurants in Sligo town. Perfect for a dinner date before a show at the Hawkswell theatre.

Love this French restaurant. The staff are fantastic, very professional, and have fantastic knowledge of wine. The food is always really good and they serve it in a slow place which is great! Fast serve is for takeaways. The wine menu is truly the best in town, so many beautiful bottles to choose from. They also have a takeaway wine menu that's very reasonable priced. Fyi, if you're thinking of going, you will need to book in advance as this place is always busy.

5 stars given because of the value for money - we dined well, had mediocre red wine and a surprisingly good white but as a table of 11 were very well attended to , served and enjoyed the choice and reasonable quality. Very pleasantly surprised at the bill. Modern deco, very fair value, good food and good ambience for conversational tables

We've been here a few times and it's always delicious. We had the lamb navarin and paté to start. The navarin is a favourite of ours. The figs served with the paté make it extra tasty. For mains, we had duck, lamb and steak. The lamb, again, is a favourite and is cooked perfectly. Great value for money comparing to some other places for steak and high quality dining in town.

Montmartre is a restaurant which serves french dishes in sligo. Upon entering the restaurant it has a lovely decor. we were seated in a nice booth by the window. The menu was extensive and had many dishes that caught my eye such as foie gras terrine and lobster ravioli.

Superb! Food was amazing, atmosphere was nice intimate and relaxing. Waiters were very good recommending us the wine and some dishes. I loved the fact that is a slow dinner. It's not rushed, so you have time for a chat in between courses. 10/10

Best lamb dish I've had. Dining by the fish tank smelled a bit like mildew? The food certainly would bring me back just sit somewhere else!

Sublime. Have been here on several occasions and the food never disappoints. Fantastic selection of wine. Attentive and friendly waiters. A real Underrated, hidden gem in Sligo. Highly recommend.

Excellent French restaurant is in Sligo town. the food is amazing and worth the experience. my only issue here is the service can be slow and some of the waiting staff in the past have been arrogant. but this is a dining experience so good things come to those who wait. Dine out early and enjoy . you won’t regret Merci.

We were at Montmarte a couple of weeks ago for my birthday and this was by far the very best experience we had in years, in every aspect. The service was above boards, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional in a very elegant and sophisticated decor. The food was done so perfectly that it did not require any seasoning, it was delicate, well presented and focused on authentic flavours. As for the wine, we choose a Chateau la Tour de Mons 2016 Margaux which was divine, none the less, the rest of the wine list was so well thought compared to other restaurant, the quality of the wines alone was unreal. The prices was also more than competitive. We cannot wait to come back as soon as possible . Vincent and Marta.

Clearly the best quality restaurant in Sligo - very good menu with wide variety of choice. Very accommodating with gluten/dairy intolerances. Great choice of venue for a celebratory dinner.

Lovely food, good wine and pleasant ambiance. Two lovely waiters who were really helpful and good fun. Loved it, easy to find and the food smells were fab. We will be back

Excellent perfect service great food super value you can check out their menu on line you'll be pleasantly surprised great value compared to other restaurants in sligo we have dined there before and will again the only thing is no beer only wine the food is so good its something that even I didn't mind ps they have. Great early bird menu
