Very bad experience here. Check-in was from 3pm, we weren't allowed in our room until almost 4pm. No apology given just "we are really busy at the moment". Food was ok, service was very slow. Spa facilities were ok, jacuzzi water had far too much chlorine in it leading to very irritated eyes. During the night the electrics shorted in our room due to a bad connection on one of the wall lights. No alternative room was available leading to a very disrupted sleep. Upon checking out we weren't even asked how our stay was. I had to point out all of these issues on my own accord. Very disappointed.

I'll speak for myself, but this was one of the best hotel experiences in Ireland. Amazing pool and spa facilities. A very decent and nutritious breakfast. There's a huge area we could walk around and in the backyard there's a fascinating view of Benbulbin mountain. The staff is extremely friendly. I needed to make a call for an hour and they let me use the restaurant hall (it was closed at the time), without any hassle. The rooms are quite big and nicely air conditioned. Stay in Radisson Blu Sligo was actually 20-30 euro cheaper than in Sligo and given the area and closeness to Roses point - I would definitely recommend choosing Radisson Blu, if it's not fully booked. The aqua area isn't huge but you can have a fun time with kids as well as get a few (or more) laps of swimming and catch a sweat in the sauna (the steam room wasn't working). The spa area was very relaxing. My wife and I got massages and caught the steam room and the sauna with the tropical massage. I also nearly fell asleep in the chill-out area. A worthwhile experience.

What is very clear is that the staff that work here are 5 star, I experienced some small issues but overall a decent hotel and yet not the Radisson quality I expected. We waited an hour to check in as our room was not ready on time this put check in at 4:30pm which is very late. When we arrived at the room we found it had not been setup to accommodate the kids and we had to get additional bedding sent. After waiting so long to check in one would expect this to be right. Our bed was easily the worst mattress I have ever slept on and this made having a good rest exceptionally difficult. Water pressure was very bad and our bath drain was blocked. A few other small room related issues that dragged the 4 star rating to a 2 for me. I feel like the hotel needed a bit of a refresh and carpets where old and worn and public guest toilets smelt awful. On the plus side the food was very good (except the burger) and breakfast provided was excellent. There are electric charge points available and plenty of parking spaces. The pool was amazing, change rooms clean and the gym was well equipped. There are certainly better 4 star hotels out there and I felt the Radisson brand was not well represented here given that I have been to other hotels in the group and picked this hotel based on the brand quality I have enjoyed previously.

Great service and staff. Lovely breakfast and lots off it. Rooms nice size , clean and comfortable. However could do with a touch up. The only fault was the location, it's on the Atlantic way, but nothing with In walking distance. You will need transport. They do have bicycle available.

Superb hotel, beautiful location, incredible staff and gorgeous food... what more could you want! We held a two day conference in the Radisson Blu and we could not have been looked after better. We had 220 delegates, numerous speakers, a drinks reception and a conference dinner. All of this was managed by the events team with Berni at the helm. So professional yet so personable. We were well looked after as were all the delegates. I would highly recommend this hotel as an ideal venue for aconference or other event.

Stayed here last wknd. Lovely hotel.. very efficient check in by a pleasant receptionist. Spacious room with large flat screen TV. Very comfy bed . Great breakfast...piping hot. I would like if the server brought a pot of tea or coffee to the table when sit down. And of course have cups and saucers already aced there. All in all a good experience.

Did not stay here thus review is for the casual bar eating place.Service was ok but due to being lunch waitresses were running up and down.I was acknowledged eventually and I chose my own place to sit.Ross my waitress was abrupt and not helpful at all.She is not refined and with body language that says..โ€ can you just order and get on with it!โ€The food was a culinary delight and the young lady that brought is was much friendlier๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐ŸปOverall good afternoon but attention to service can make or break a place๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž

No issue with staff, courteous and friendly. Decor of rooms and general upkeep of the hotel was relatively poor. Rooms showing signs of wear and tear. Lovely seating area across from reception, but no one serves the area to clear glasses and cups and so on. Lovely pool area. Food was good for a hotel. In general, it was OK. Would try somewhere else if I was back in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly, hotel was ideally located. Had a blast in the pool for all 3 days we were there. Would love to go again. Only disappointment for me was the breakfast. Expected far better for a name like Radisson blu. First day we only got croissants, I was expecting a bit more. Overall enjoyed it.

Had been here for two nights. The rooms are spacious, good room service, efficient staffs and friendly. The buffet breakfast served was great. As the weather wasn't good during our visit, we couldn't explore Sligo, but the swimming pool ,sauna and fitness centre within the hotel ,kept our kids happy and as parents we were relaxed

Nice lady at check-in, it was swift and easy. I got a nice large room with a view of a roof. A lovely and comfortable very large bed. The room had a large TV, with YouTube and Netflix (own account needed) which was great. A nice bath too, the room was cool. WiFi was great, and the room had a Euro socket too. There was an ice machine which was sadly not working. The breakfast was absolutely awesome and really made it for me (although not sure about the scronky jazz they were playing first thing in the morning..!

Amazing hotel with friendly staff checking in was efficient the room was spotless. Nice touch with a โ‚ฌ5 voucher for the bar food which was excellent.bit noisy at night as our room was close to the lifts ๐Ÿ›— people talking loudly.. Breakfast buffet was the best ever with a fantastic choice of food and good coffee โ˜•๏ธ. Evening times were busy with lots of people smoking ๐Ÿšฌ in the main entrance doorway before the revolving door oblivious to the no smoking ๐Ÿšญ signs.

We came for just 1 night. Lady on reception was a delight! Pool was so nice and so clean. Room was grand. Just a couple of details. Carpet and curtains could do with a clean. There was 3 of us in the room but only 2 cups and 2 glasses. Only something stupid but we like our cup of tea. Went to waves bar for dinner. Got French onion soup. Lovely flavour just needed more onions. Cabonara was delicious. Service however was a disaster. Not attentive all all. And 1 particular service spoke so low we had to keep saying what. But over all would totally come back!

My eight year old was a big fan of the kids menu. He had a salad as a starter, Sunday roast as a main and afterwards Eton mess. Finished it all and was a big fan! Had to write this review because he wanted to give positive Feedback! I liked the price of the kids menu - great value for money! All else the Radisson Sligo is a very solid hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff!

Such a perfect place for a little getaway. From the views and location, to yummy breakfast with a view, to exceptional service and staff always being helpful. The only thing Iโ€™d say is the electricity in the room a bit wonky but the staff came up to help at 12 am with that. Amazing! Thank you so much to the staff and all the people who contributed to such an amazing resort!

Bit busy when we visited it, this February so we had to wait in the lobby area for a while. Lobby is large, very cozy area with baby changing facilities,. In the end we were offered free drinks vouchers at their bar. However, everything else was very good. The hotel was clean, spacious room and we got a beautiful cot for our son, as well as extra sheets and huge, brand new towel for him. Breakfast was ok, I particularly liked smoked salmon. We also had dinner at the Waves bar. Bit busy so it is better to book. Sauna is just great, must try.

Can't complain much! Spent 2 nights there, the two of us and our 1 year old baby. The place is a 1990s hotel kept in a decently good nick. Can't complain much, as we were really happy staying there. The car speed hump at the entrance could have been profiled better, as our standard family hatchback kept on scraping it over. But the free of charge swimming pool was a nice treat I have to say! And the service was great too, very professional, chatty but not too inquisitive. And the view of the ocean was amazing too.

What a great hotel. I only stayed one night but I wish I stayed longer. Quick check in. Spacious room and large bed. Room service was great. The hotel is tucked away but an easy 5 minute drive into town and a short drive to nearby attractions. Ample parking on site.

Everything was as expected. It was good value. Service could have been more efficient but the staff were friendly. We did seem to stay at a busy time. The location was good in terms of being able to get around the coast. You are a bit out of Sligo though (wasn't an issue for me and part of the appeal for us). I would go back for another weekend break.

Just home from a two night stay with husband and 8 year old son. What can I say from start to finish, this was a very enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food in bar was excellent, breakfast was fab. Swimming pool was a big hit, will be back.

Just back from a two day training thing at the Radisson Blu Sligo! Having stayed in loads of hotels recently my expectations werenโ€™t overly high, however pleasantly surprised by this one. Good old fashioned hospitality, great breakfast, clean hotel and not a complaint needed. Pics attached, would recommend!!

We stayed here in July. We were so surprised by Sligo. Usually we had just passed through on our way to somewhere else. Sligo has a lot to offer. We were a family group of 12. I needed an accessible room which was lovely. The bed was Soo comfortable!!!! Air conditioning was so welcome as it was particularly warm. Our rooms were well serviced. Breakfast was buffet with a great selection on offer. Despite being extremely busy we were never kept waiting for food. We had dinner here twice during our stay and really enjoyed it. The hotel is central to all Sligo has to offer. We will definitely be back.
