The young woman who took our order and looked after us...was one of the most smiley and pleasant I have encountered in a long while...and even though the dish I asked for was from the lunch menu (and we were there for dinner) they went out of their way for us. The food was lovely (so much so we went back for lunch). Thank you for an enjoyable experience. You know who you are...you of the Fabulous eyelashes!

Concerning the restaurant only. The place is lovely and the staff really nice and doing a good job. This said, the food was really disappointing. I had the gratin, with prawns and fish. Served with a salad (with a nice dressing) and 2 slices of bread. It was way too oily. As you can see on the picture each prawn and bite of fish was literally swimming in oil. It was not butter (and if it had been butter it would have been too much as well). So I guess the bread was served to eat that oil which did not have any flavour such as garlic or any herb or even spice of any kind and which was, I guess, coming from the prep and the cheese... Wasn't nice nor healthy. My partner had the Tortillas and was disappointed too. He found it very bland !

Fantastic food. Best seafood chowder I've ever had. Great presentation. Beautiful restaurant. Lovely views. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Really enjoyed chatting with the friendly South African waitress! We felt very welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience

Restaurant only: We went for a late lunch on Friday and it was amazing. The food was phenomenal, the service was a little slow but very efficient- in fairness I think theyโ€™re a little understaffed due to Covid, but the waitress there was very on the ball. Best meal of the trip!

After a delicious dinner last night we decided to return again this evening. Original and interesting menu with great attention to detail. The oysters were superb and the lamb kofta was delicious. They also had a very tasty vegan option. Plus a good cocktail menu - with properly made Negronis. Not to mention being extremely child friendly. I would strongly recommend.

We went to the Driftwood for dinner the night before my wedding and even though there were 20 of us everything was absolute perfection. The food was to die for, the service excellent and prompt, the staff very welcoming and the manager Holly was an absolute delight going above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful experience!! thank you so much

Tastefully decorated by the owner who we were told is an interior designer. Room decor was 11 out of 10! Breakfast though is pricy..better value to be had in the golf club nearby. Dinner was good.

Just concerning the restaurant. The food isnโ€™t bad, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The young girls serving seem to have a highly inflated opinion of themselves. No smiles/greetings, no cleaning of table before we ate after the previous customers had left it dirty, just a bit of a โ€œtoo cool for school vibeโ€. Had better chowder and fish pie down the road.

Fantastic location to visit the Sligo area. Located in Rosses Point. Great value for money rooms with sea views. Downstairs serve lunch and dinner. Ribeye and Fish gratin stars on the menu and generous portions. Service was great and attentive.

We stayed at the Driftwood for our first night of our vacation, it did not disappoint. When we arrived, we were notified by staff that they had upgraded our room from the standard seaview to the superior seaview. Let me tell you, this room was perfect! It was warm and welcoming, the bed was very comfortable, it had a lovely sitting area next to the window that overlooked the peninsula and it had a wonderful claw foot tub that was very relaxing. We relaxed in the comfy room for a bit after a very long active day and chose to eat in the restaurant downstairs. While the service could have been a bit quicker, the food was very good! We were pleased with our choices, which included the Mezze Plate, a locally source fish curry and a venison pasta dish. The only critique is that I wish they would update their menu on the website as it apparently changes regularly and the dishes we had wanted on the menu on the website were not on the menu that night. That said, great meal and would recommend!

Stunning setting overlooking the water in Rosses Point Co Sligo. This boutique accommodation is a must for anyone looking for a quiet break away, delicious food and plenty of beach walks or to discover the wild Atlantic way. Run by a husband and wife team the staff are extremely friendly and as mentioned the food is top class. Make a point of putting the Driftwood in your diary. I canโ€™t wait to get back again.

Great feed with great service( staff apologetic about my steak being overdone, I wasn't, it was perfect. But big mouth beside me who has to have her say on everything who was not even having said steak said it was) anyways. Would recommend

Beautiful boutique hotel on the Rosses Point strand. There are 8 rooms, each styled uniquely by one of the co-owners. She is an interior designer. We stayed in a standard double . It was spacious and very comfortable. Voya products in the bathrooms are amazing too. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The restaurant is another highlight . The menu has a wide variety of food and the bar has a great selection of beers(some local) and cocktails. We had pulled pork tacos to start, fish & chips and monkfish & prawn gratin for mains ( all pictured) Every dish was amazing

We stayed here to celebrate an anniversary, and elected to take dinner in addition to our stay. Absolutely incredible. The room was spectacular and the food was incredible. If you are considering staying near Siglo and want the charm of Ross Point, this is an easy recommendation for anyone mapping out their travels!

This is just the loveliest place. Me and the family dropped in for dinner last week. The service and the folks working here couldn't be better; smiles and kindness all around. The space itself is immaculate, and really quite beautiful. Wonderful indoor and outdoor space with exquisite views. The food was class. Proper chunky chips and delicious fish! Didn't stay in the hotel but wanted to. Couldn't recommend this place more, I'll be paying a visit whenever i'm back in the area.

Often visit County Sligo but hadn't yet visited The Driftwood but often seen Gillian Filan post pictures on Instagram so I decided to book for Mother Day. We loved it! Staff are brilliant, decor is lovely and stylish and the food outstanding. Me and my friend travel the world quite frequently and we both got the seafood chouder. It was outstanding and it beat the likes of places like San Fransisco etc. Thank you we will be back.

Wonderful stay in this idyll. Room was so spacious yet cosy with a view across Oyster Island to Knocknarea. Restaurant was gorgeous on both the food quality and the excellent service. So much to do in the area. (We hiked Ben Bulben and were only too delighted to return to soak in the free standing tub on our return). We'll be back.

Very disappointed, my daughter was given something she did not order. The wait for food was unpleasant and when it came to payment they couldn't accept card. Won't be troubling Driftwood again. Family at next table had two dogs sitting on the table how hygienic is that

Lovely setting and friendly staff but disappointed with my choice. Prawn and monkfish grattin was more like a light lunch/starter rather than a dinner in my opnion. Very little fish overall with nice side salad and sourdough side. Perhaps poor choice on my part ordering in haste but expected it to be more filling so felt it was expensive for what it was. Burger enjoyed by other half.

The food was amazing, especially the cookie dough skillet for desert. We were recommended this place by a friend and it didn't fail to dissapont at all! Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Our first evening in Ireland and dinner at The Driftwood did d not disappoint. In my view the Chowder and ribs are the best Iโ€™ve tasted this side of the Atlantic. Good selection of dishes to choose from with everything available. The views are also amazing.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Excellent food and good portion sizes. We found this little gem when we were away for the night and would highly recommend it. Eat in or take away. Good variety on the menu served with a smile.
