Amazing experience!! First time kayaking for myself and my children, aged 14,12 and 9 years. Beautiful setting and scenery. Guides Barry and Reuben were so informative, helpful and supportive to us all, but especially to my son (9). They were so friendly and welcoming. We all came back buzzing and no one fell in to the lake!! Highly recommend this experience and these guys. We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much.

We had such an amazing experience kayaking in Lough Gill! The weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking. There were very few other users in the lake so it was really peaceful. Our guide Barry was great, very friendly and knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend!

Can't recommend highly enough. Beautiful scenery with absolute legends of guides. I've done a few similar tours around the country and this was the best (and not just for the tea and biscuits)

We did the kayaking on Lough Gill option. What a great experience! It was a small group, led by two instructors Jacob and Tessa, who were so friendly, welcoming and informative. The scenery was spectacular and the lake was so peaceful. A great active, yet relaxing day out! We will 100% be recommending Sligo Kayak Tours! 🛶

Had a great tour on Lough Gill I'm a beginner in kayaking so the lads were very informative and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. We kayaked on lough gill the weather was good (dry and warm) for majority of the tour,(drizzle on the last 5 minutes of it) so made it even better as the lake was calm and was lovely to kayak on, got great pictures. We stopped on an island and had tea/coffee and biscuits a nice snack and got to walk around the island and some people went for a swim before we got back on the kayaks and returned to mainland. Would highly recommended the tour.

We booked a 3-hour kayak trip around Lough Gill and we loved it. Our instructor, Ruben, was very knowledgeable about the lake and extremely easy to get on with. A great instructor over all, which made an amazing trip. Highly recommended if you get the chance!

We had the most fantastic time kayaking around Lough Gill with Sligo Kayak tours. We had a big group ranging in ages and abilities and the lads were very professional and brilliant at explaining everything and putting everyone at ease. The pit stop for tea and coffee on the island was beautiful, a really special experience. This is a great way to spend a few hours and we can't wait to try another one of their tours.

Had a fab morning with Barry Reuben and Evan on Lough Gill. I hadn’t kayaked before and was a little nervous but thanks to Barry I got over that very quickly and really enjoyed the experience. They are very professional, well organised and safety is a key priority. Equipment is high quality and the cup of tea and shortbread mid tour when we landed on one of the islands was very welcome. Very enjoyable and excellent value for money highly recommend

Fantastic experience. Guides knowledgeable, and very friendly and approachable (sorry guys, I forgot your names-I have less memory than a pike :-P- but this was from the morning trip of Friday June 8th, 2013). Good kayaks, amazing scenery and not feeling rushed at any stage whatsoever. I would totally recommend this experience. I hope we can repeat soon in Mullaghmore with you guys too. 20 over 10 really if I could give. Well done guys!!!

The guys were so nice and professional! We did an afternoon tour and got brought to college (or breezies) island, where we could explore for a bit and have tea before we went back. 10/10 a great day out!

We had a beautiful day kayaking in Loch Gill with Ruben and Finn as our guides. Both guides were very helpful, full of info about the area and surprised us with a stop in a really cool island for quick refreshment and snack. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour with an amazing guide. Reuben has a wealth of knowledge about the lake, its islands, wildlife and plant life which makes this much more than just a kayaking session. We really appreciated the time we were given to explore one of the islands. Highly recommend.

Whilst we were in Sligo we wanted to go kayaking our hotel recommended one at Lough Gill Lake and absolutely loved it. When we got there we were able to get ready right away, we got taught the basics and then headed off in our kayaks. Our guide, Frank, was amazing he had great knowledge about the lake and was friendly. It was a fun tour: half way through it we went on to one of the islands in the lake which was called Beezies Island and got to hear the history behind the island, which was very interesting! Overall, it was an amazing experience and would definitely come back :)

The rains at the end but if that not raining it was perfect. And even if it raining, that was so good, the little island beautiful. Ruben was so friendly, calm and he give you cafe, tea or hot chocolate. Speak a bit frensh too which facilitates conversation. I highly recommend and thank you again Ruban for the great afternoon you give at me and my family.

Frank took us out on Lough Gill on 8 August and it was the highlight of our holiday. Kayaking is like manna for the soul and the tour was the perfect balance of fun, educational content and zen reflection. And snaking through the reeds and lilly pads will 100% make you feel like you're back in 'Nam. And I've never even been to 'Nam?
