I
arrived
too
early
to
check
in,
so
I
just
left
my
bags
at
the
hostel
storeroom.
Checking
in
was
pretty
straightforward.
One
of
the
staff
showed
me
the
room
and
the
facilities.
When
I
booked
the
room,
it
clearly
said
the
bathroom
was
private
and
it
was
private
only
in
the
sense
that
it
was
only
used
by
the
room
guests.
The
bathroom
was
not
ensuite,
but
in
another
room,
separated
by
the
kitchen.
So
you
have
to
exit
your
room,
walk
across
the
kitchen,
then
use
the
bathroom.
There’s
also
only
one
key
for
the
bathroom.
There’s
no
separate
bathroom
and
toilet.
When
the
room
is
filled
with
six
guests,
there
can
be
a
wait,
especially
when
the
girls
are
doing
their
make-up.
The
bed
comes
with
privacy
curtains,
personal
lights
and
multiple
electric
points.
The
bed
was
the
wooden
type,
but
surprisingly
sturdy
as
I
did
not
sense
my
bunkmates.
The
bed
was
comfortable
beds,
the
covers
cosy
and
I
slept
beautifully
the
whole
stay.
The
room
also
had
a
desk
and
chairs
to
sit,
and
work
on.
The
hostel
has
a
small,
but
perfectly
usable
kitchen
area
with
plenty
of
clean
pots,
pans,
plates,
cups
and
utensils.
There’s
also
a
table
with
I
think
8
chairs.
The
kitchen
has
a
small
fridge
and
there’s
enough
space
to
store
some
food
for
cooking.
The
hostel
provides
breakfast,
which
was
basically
coffee
or
fruit
tea.
The
coffee
was
awful
and
universally
abhorred
by
every
guest
I
spoke
to,
sorry!
The
hostel
has
laundry
facilities,
but
only
the
washing
machine
works,
I
think
the
dryer
has
been
broken
for
some
time,
so
each
room
comes
with
a
clothes
airer,
which
works
fine.
The
location
was
great
and
easy
walking
distance
to
old
town.
Also
close
to
the
hostel
is
one
of
three
main
bus
stations
in
Bratislava.
It’s
useful
for
buses
to
Vienna,
Budapest
and
a
day
trip
to
Devin
Castle
The
hostel
has
Wifi,
which
was
fantastic,
fast
and
reliable
all
the
time.
Overall,
I
had
an
enjoyable
stay.
The
staff
were
great,
really
friendly
and
very
helpful.
