No
surprises
why
this
hostel
has
won
so
many
awards.
The
hostel
felt
like
I
was
staying
at
a
good
friend’s
house
the
entire
time.
It
was
very
homely
and
had
a
large
porch
and
lounge
room
which
encouraged
everyone
(mostly
solo
travellers)
to
hang
out
together
-
which
they
typically
did.
Lots
of
helpful
information
regarding
hikes
in
the
area
was
put
together
in
a
folder,
and
the
staff
were
always
happy
to
answer
questions.
Staff
were
friendly,
people
were
great
and
atmosphere
was
relaxing
whilst
still
being
sociable
-
a
very
difficult
balance
to
achieve.
Plenty
of
free
food
on
offer
as
well
-
got
lucky
with
a
homemade
banana
bread
while
I
was
there.
And
of
course,
the
best
part
about
the
hostel
is
the
incredibly
friendly
dog,
Wally!
Can
highly
recommend
this
hostel
to
solo
travellers
looking
to
do
some
hikes
through
the
Tatras
and/or
those
looking
to
get
a
wholesome
few
days
away
from
the
city.
