I recently had the pleasure of dining at Georgie Bistro, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a chic, elegant atmosphere. The menu at Georgie bistro is a culinary masterpiece, featuring a wide range of dishes that are expertly crafted and beautifully presented. We started with three cold dishes, which were a work of art. The flavours were so well-balanced and the textures were spot on, making it the perfect way to begin our meal. For the main course, we opted for different dishes , which were equally impressive. The portion size was perfect, and the flavours were out of this world. The meats were cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauce was nothing short of incredible. But the true highlight of the meal were the desserts. All the desserts were a true showstopper, both in terms of taste and presentation. Each one of it was rich and decadent, with the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. The service was also top-notch. The waitstaff were attentive and knowledgeable, always making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend Georgie bistro to anyone looking for a fine dining experience that is truly unforgettable. I loved everything that I tried. I was there for the 3 course lunch special, and it was great value for the quality and quantity of food. The calamansi margarita was so clever - instead of the typical salt rim, there was a salt foam that added a different texture to the cocktail. Perfectly balanced too, with appropriate sweetness to counter the calamansi. Food was faultless. Highly recommend.

We visited Georgie bistro over the weekend for a five-course dinner and it was everything we had hoped for. Delicious food (with vegetarian options), perfect vine to go with it all served in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again!

The newly opened Georgie Bistro is all that Monstera used to be and more. The food is exceptionally prepared and delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely, if slightly exposed. A recommended visit for anyone who enjoys the fine dining experience and good food. The prices are a bit steep but not exorbitantly so for what you're getting.

Our repeated visits to this place have left us in awe, and it seems like they might have updated their menu since our last visit. Everything about it is perfection – from the ambiance to the staff, the food, and the selection of wines. Words can’t do justice to how exceptional this place is. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Very good food and friendly staff. I didn't like the interior. But that is my opinion. If you like bistro kind of place, than you'll love it. Otherwise, I highly recommend eating here!

We had a five course menu and it was all vegetarian. We had asked the day before and they had prepared a special menu for us. The food was amazing. Everything was very well thought through with very nice touches. I especially remember the dried tomatoes which had been hydrated again with tomatoe essence. Really amazing. We also had a great wine pairing with some amazing wines, even an orange wine. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

I had lunch at the new Georgie Bistro and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The restaurant offers very innovative dishes, and the wine pairing was spot on. Chef Gregor Jelnikar and his team have done an outstanding job in creating an innovative and satisfying menu. Each dish was expertly prepared, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Had a dinner here last night and it was the most amazing experience in Ljubljana. Wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant, very helpful staff, a wide selection of great wines... but the best part was the food! Gosh, it tasted fantastic! Surprising dishes, brilliant combination of ingridients and creativity! Can't wait to visit again!

In my opinion, one of the better culinary restaurants in Ljubljana. We took the 7 course menu and the combination of the different ingredients matched well. The sommelier matched the wines perfectly with each dish, or gave a wine to your liking upon request. The story surrounding the wine demonstrates the sommelier's knowledge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is also done with a smile. Small tip: on the menu with the five or seven courses, include the option of matching wines. That way wine lovers know they can get a matching wine with every dish.

A vivid small place with kind and helpful staff and a very delicate touch for food. Liked the playfulness of the seafood dishes. They change the whole menu in about a month and try to use seasonal resources.

We enjoyed a lovely 7 course lunch here at Georgie! It started off with an opening of delicious amouse bouches, and the amazing flavours continued throughout the meal. What stood out were the mushroom gnudi, turnip cacio e pepe, the duck, and the gin-fizz pre-dessert. Don’t get me wrong everything else was lovely too! The only comment would be more bread so we could have mopped up the delectable sauces! Our server was lovely too, maybe just a little shy but otherwise very attentive, and well versed with the menu. The cocktail selection seems amazing, although we didn’t try it. The wine card on the other hand is amazing! We enjoyed a Bastardo by Fedora and the Anže Jožef, both great! The atmosphere is quaint, cozy and modern, just the music selection could use some work to fit the theme of the place more. All in all, great experience, would recommend it to anybody, a la carte or a whole menu.

What an ending of our vacation, couldn’t have wished for a better one! 🙏🏻 The food was AMAZING! We had a few very good dinners in Slovenia the last 2,5 weeks, but this was next level 😍 The textures, flavors, level of expertise and detail was extremely high. And very surprising combinations and substitutions. The prices are really reasonable and well worth it! For instance, instead of pasta with the Cacio Pepe, they used Turnip and local cheese. It really tastes like the real deal I had in Rome more than 10yrs ago 🤩 With cheeks I prefer normally pork cheeks, then veal and last beef. They usually have more flavor, are more tender etc. I normally even never try beef cheeks anymore, cause they have disappointed me every time, with boring flavors, (although beef stews like Rendang or Flemish beef can be amazing too), but these were top notch 💪🏻 The wines, the couch, the service, everything was on point. Except 2 minor things. 1. The lighting from the kitchen is a bit too much 2. The choice of music didn’t fit the scenery and food. It also was bit too loud and the bad acoustics didn’t help either. Maybe they want to be new and trendy, and I normally love the rock music they played, but it really surprised us. It wouldn’t hold us back to come back (apparently we were the first to mention it, in the year they have been existing now), cause the food is so great. I gave them the tip about it straight up, like everyone always should! (I’ve worked in restaurants for 20yrs).

Top notch tasting menu. We had the 5 course option, every one inventive and perfectly executed. Great service, informative and friendly, we were not rushed at all. A lovely space too, with full length windows opening - very welcome on a hot evening.
