Verdi is a wonderful family-owned restaurant hidden in the narrow streets of Piran. My partner and I were looking for a peaceful place to dine at a reasonable price. At first, this seemed to be impossible. But when all hope seemed lost, we discovered Verdi. Here we ate a delicious fish caught by local fishermen and a homemade dessert accompanied by local wine. The service was attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the price was reasonable according to Piran's standards. I recommend this humble family restaurant if you are looking for some good seafood. However, a lack of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu might be a problem for some folks out there. Nevertheless, I felt that our dinner was worth every penny!

A very fine restaurant hidden in the old town of Piran. I know the restaurant for years and it is still the place to be for seafood. The staff is very obliging and willing to fulfill all your extra wishes if you ask them. I can really recommend clams/mussels and the fish an all their offered varieties. But my special favorite are Adriatic Scampi Busara with pasta. Not a bargain, but worth every cent! The simpler version is Spaghetti with Scampi (as seen on the pics) - nonetheless delicious and a very good starter.

The food was excellent. We had mussels as a starter, which was served in a very tasty sauce. For the main course we had the fish platter, which had a great selection of two fish, squid and crab. My friends were also very happy with their pasta and fish dishes. The only drawback was the waiting time, which was a bit longer, but well rewarded with the food.

Very nice restaurant with great food and a very kind service. You can literally feel how the waiter enjoys his job and the food is super tasty. Never too much but always perfectly fine to make you satisfied. I can highly recommend the gnocchi with truffles. They are very tasty.

The small, yet lovely restaurant offers very delicious foods. I had the sea bass and I loved it. The man who owns the restaurant was very nice and gave his best to create a tasty experience.

This food wasn't from this world, it was soooo amazing, 10/5 would eat again. The price was reasonable too. You sit on a kozy square in the heart of Piran, the atmosphere is really relaxed

Amazing place and delicious sea food. The summer terrace looks nice and cosy, and I strongly recommend this place for those who love fresh sea fish. Just a small tip, please, be aware that the price in the menu is for 100 grams, and the portion itself could be much higher 😄 The owners are polite and friendly and do there best to help the visitors feel comfortable at the restaurant.

The food was perfect, the host was friendly and nice, the place is convenient and the prices are reasonables. We will return.

Service was very friendly. The server informed us that they had only one cook so the food could take longer. We ordered the house wine, it was barley drinkable. On the next table a slowenian couple got also a 1l pitcher and it seemed to have a lighter color, so maybe there is a different wine for tourists, but can't confirm. After half an hour our food arrived. The Fried calamari were way too salty. We ate them out of hunger but not with a lot of pleasure. The fish platter for 2 was actually really good compared to the calamari.
