We only had breakfast here but we can just say: wow! The staff was unbelievably friendly and tried hard to fulfill all our wishes. Everything we ate was top! Also the interior of the restaurant is very tasteful and well thought out. We were prepared to pay a much higher price and were very positively surprised. If you are looking for something for breakfast in the area, you absolutely have to come here! If we are ever at Lake Bohinj again, we will also try the hotel. All around perfect!

Four course dinner with local wine pairing was excellent, and service was great! We requested one vegan menu and this was just as delicious. Courses were only served a bit too quickly after each other to fit into the 1h50m timeslot, but overall great experience and warmly recommended!

The service at this restaurant is impeccable. As a vegan, the chef really had to come up with a lot of special dishes for me, because I enjoyed the 5-6 course meal 3 nights in a row, plus a 2 course lunch. He is absolutely creative with his use of vegetables! This was some of the best vegan food I have ever eaten, and I can't wait to return. I also very much enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, where vegan options were available without my even having to ask.

We had a fabulous dinner - the 4-course tasting menu with the wine pairing. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food and wine were well paired and delicious. Nice that the chef came by to speak with us. My only criticism is that the music (from a German radio station) was not suitable for an evening of fine dining.

You just have to go eat there: delicious gourmet cuisine with local ingredients prepared by the renowned resident chef. For the quality and the level of cooking and serving, prices are ridiculously accessible (compared with any middle-big European city with a comparable level of dining). Totally recommended both for dinner (go for the full course menu) and the breakfast.

We were treated to a perfect culinary experience. The vegan menu was fantastic. The staff is more than friendly and professional. I definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful ambience that transports you to another time.

A friend hyped me about their food by mentioning imaginative and original vegetarian dishes, but I ended up being a bit disappointed - especially by a tasting menu desert that was a regular lava cake. All courses on that evening were good, but none was exceptional.
