Very nice botanical garden. Many varieties of plants, shrubs, and trees. On the slope of the Pohorje. No dogs allowed. Small shop to buy local fruit, wine and flowers.

Nice place to take a walk and admire different plants and trees 🌳 The entrance is 5.50 euros for adults. There is also a small shop where you can buy local wine, apple juice or apple vinegar and other local fruits or vegetables. If you want to know more how it lools be sure to visit my youtube channel Big Joe Cheap Travels 😉 👍

Visited the archeological route/path. Well worth the visit. You can take a stroll along the eighty-or-so discovered burial mounds from the Old Iron Age. Each of the burial mounds contained only one urn with the mounds ranging from five meters in length and one meter in height all the way to thirty-five meters in length and six meters in height. Do spend the morning or an afternoon in the park, there is lots more to see. With a playground for children that makes use of the natural terrain of the park and a lovely shop with the faculty's own produce. There is a farmer's market every Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm with local products. You will be charmed by the beautiful and serene natural surroundings!

Small but beautiful for a relaxing walk. Stunning fall colors as we went in November, lots of vegetal variety (including sequoias!), beautiful scenery and even some history with tombs from the iron age. The paths are made up of small rocks so there was no mud after the morning rain and even with a baby stroller we were able to get though the whole garden without a problem. We will for sure come back during spring and summer as well as our baby gets bigger.

Amazing garden! Every species is written out, even in English and German. This garden is really well taken care of and the surrounding is beautiful too. The entry price is super decent. We had the whole garden to ourselves after Covid times!

Although it was very hot and therefore humid, we enjoyed ourselves strolling around. The cashier lady was extremely helpful and kind. We bought a multitude of apple juice, wine and pumpkin seed oil.

Put on your runners because their is a lot of walking to do in this park! It looks like nothing g at first when arriving, but as soon as u enter, you’ll see it was well worth it🌺

Large variety of plants, flowers, bushes, trees. Not very well labeled though, small print, some smudged, several with no label at all
