Big thanks to Irina, Jure and the Fonda-team🙏 to make this day to a very special one to our family: We got a very warm welcome combined with a great boat tour with lots of information about the eco-system and the fish. Sustainable values are lived at this place ! The results of this hard work could be tasted in the tasting after the fishgarden visit 🐟🫒🍷 This was the highest quality of fish we ever enjoyed 🥇! You should not miss this unforgettable experience! Just enjoy and be curious 😉

Every part of the tour is something amazing but the delicious food, the sweet wine, the beautiful scenery, the fun boat ride, the informative lecture, the refined wine, the lively fish, the inspiring story of the Fonda family, and all the smallest details - all come together as a truly amazing and unforgettable experience.

I visited Fonda Fish farm a few days ago and wasn't sure what to expect, but it completely exceeded my expectations. Irena's passion for what they do was truly infectious and learning about Fonda's story and the inner workings of the farm was absolutely fascinating. The experience was topped off with the most delicious fish i've ever tasted. Thank you so much Irena.

The Fonda family have elevated pisciculture to an art form. The guided tour was interesting & informative, highly recommend it if you’re interested in fish farming and marine biology. - student from BIC Ljubljana

Great experience at the boat, seeing where the fish are grown. Also a very good presentation from Lean, who knows so much about fish, ecology and the world. Would recommend!

The story of the Fonda family is truly inspiring, especially when Irena Fonda shares her knowledge and passion. We learned a lot about fish and the sea, which you will appreciate even more after this visit. In addition, you learn how to choose the right fish for a healthy meal. We experienced also a cooking workshop in nature, by the sea, under the pine trees. I didn't know you could make such a delicious meal so easily with so much fun. We tasted raw sea bass and refreshing tomatoes on bruschetta accompanied by delicious wine. This was followed by a wonderful fish soup and sea bass with vegetables, which we filleted and prepared ourselves. It was a beautiful day with amazing people. Strongly recommended.

This is one of the best experiences. You get to learn about the fragile ecosystem which is being restored thanks to the work that the Fonda family is doing in Piran bay. You also get to spend the time with the founders and have a chance to participate in the daily activities. Last but not least, their fish are really delicious. Time flies when you are having fun, this truly is an amazing experience that represents the case study for sustainable tourism of the future.

I already knew the high quality of the "Branzino" (Sea bass) that is produced by the Fonda family and the visit to their farm was amazingly beautiful! The location, in a bay that is a natural park, is spectacular and you can see how the production is driven not only with a high compentence, but also with passion and love. We went home with much more awareness of the secrets behind the production of such a high quality product (Sea bass and mussels) and a beautiful experience. There is no better way to enjoy fresh fish than in such a beautiful place

Loved the fish farm visit. The boat ride was so pleasant and tasting at the end delicious. I finally learned how to diferentiate fresh and not so fresh fish. The small shop is a gem filled with culinary delicacies. Local botarga, olive oil, wine, vinegar, pottery... a must visit when in Piran.
