Please like if this is helpful. €5 for 2 hours of parking right at the entrance to the trail. There are two temporary toilets at the entrance, one for men and one for women. The trail is a loop that passes behind the waterfall. It's an uphill route mostly with stairs made in the forest floor. It has a lot of uneven surfaces. We were not rushing and it took us about 30 minutes to complete.

Astonishing! Not just your average waterfall, you can walk behind this one and have 2 different viewpoint on the large one and 1 viewpoint on the upper, smaller waterfall. Beware, the walk behind the waterfall can be slippery since water is dripping from the rocks above. People with good balance should be fine. Also a quick tip, you can park free a few kilometers before you reach the waterfall. There you can walk across the river with a bridge and follow the river for about 2km before reaching the waterfall where parking is limited and a lot busier.

This was picturesque ! We got off the bus on The main road which leaves you around a three mile walk to the actual waterfall. We went in December so snow made the mountains pop. The hike to it was fairytale like once we arrived we managed to climb up to the main fall unfortunately it was too icy to get around the bk of the water but was stil great to get up close. Recommend this highly

The sheer size of the waterfall is unbelievable. Definitely worth visiting. The best hours are early in the morning as the place will get crowded later on. The parking fee is 5 EUR for two hours but if you come and leave before 9 a.m. there might be nobody to collect it. Don't forget to visit also the upper waterfall. The hike is not long, it will take you something around 60-90 minutes, including getting back to the parking. If this review helped you, please give it a like. ... and one final thing, prepare yourself to get wet :-)

One of the most beautiful places in Slovenia. There are several parking spaces, in late June parking was free. The route to the lower part of the waterfall is not demanding. Reachable even with young kids (4 and 7 years old). A wonderful mountain river flows next to the parking lot. Its cold water was really refreshing after the hike.

This is one of my favorite waterfall treks! The hike up is steep but worth it. The falls are breathtaking and magnificent! The fact that you can loop around them and see from behind is an added treat! If you do ONE thing in Slovenia, do this!

I think it's a most beautiful waterfall in Slovenia. Two routes (hikes) it varies from difficult unsecured (about 700m) to difficult secured (about 500m). Both are evenly dangerous, If you are going with the child and want to see the waterfall upclose, I recommend the 500m route. You can see the waterfall from the parking spot near the house at the bottom (about 50m) just go straight. It's better to leave the car in the parking lot at bottom about 3km from the waterfall, from the parking, there is a beautiful trail through the forest near the river to the waterfall. I recommend leaving about 60-120min. If going from the parking at bottom. If you want to go from the parking spot up top then 30min. will suffice. Strongly recommend to visit.

This place is absolutely insane, just breathtaking, it was our first place to visit in Slovenia a we were amazed by it, if you get lucky to park underneath then you have just 10 minutes hike up to the waterfall and you will not believe its real, you are so close, you can go around under the hill, you will get little wet but who cares. Kids were happy and enjoy water falling. It s one big peace of the nature

Great short loop hike. The trail goes behind the waterfall for some amazing views. The trail is moderately strenuous at different places, with some slippery spots.

Such a beautiful waterfall in Bled area but a bit difficult to get there if you don’t drive. Do climb up to the upper level to see pretty view and beware of slippery. PS, no phone signal up there so you will be in an offline mode for a bit

Awesome waterfall - no parking or admittance fees. I recommend to see both. Even the smaller one a bit higher but still very close. The most beautiful waterfall we have seen in Slovenia.

What’s not to like about waterfalls and nature! There’s a car park at the bottom. €5 for 2 hours which is plenty of time. Limited parking. There is parking in the nearby town that you can walk from. At a decent walking pace it’s around 45 minutes to walk from the town.

It was amazing, spectacular view! Don’t miss it even if is raining, we did on rain and was worth it. Make sure you will also go to the upper part of the waterfall. The hole circuit is easy and it takes 45-60 minutes. Don’t miss it!

Beautiful place to visit. Easy to get to 1st and to 2nd waterfall. However, be careful especially whit children and after the rain.

Wonderful place. To hike up takes approx. 15 minutes and you can reach a point where you can stand right behind the waterfall, in something like a small cave. The view is fantastic from all the points you stand

Crew is on Holiday. Ultra Trail Hungary team make fun in the Slovenian Alps. Amaizing place with stunning view behind of the waterfall. It’s a small walk from the road and you can enjoy the view.

Majestic waterfall, easy access. Recommended to park in town and take a walk in the woods. In less than one hour you will reach the waterfall. Second waterfall is above in 5 min from the first one.

Must see. Possible to park 10min walk from the waterfall. Limited spots. Costs 5€ and is payable in cash in the cottage. Also option to park in the village nearby and walk 5km one way in the forest. Depends on your time possibilities. The shorter way is up the hill but totally worth it. No entrance fee. One of very interesting spots 👍 as you can walk behind the waterfall. Take a raincoat.

Wonderful waterfall, worth visit. Parking just at the begining of the trail - 5EUR/2h. Trail is 250m long, its quite steep but we have made it just fine with 4y and 6y kids. Nice cottage next to the parking for the refreshment.

Beautiful short hike, a little steep, but not too hard, even little children were doing it. Bring good shoes. The waterfall is extremely beautiful! Definitely worth it. Next to the parking spot is a small cafe.

Very beutiful sight. can be crowded but still very beautiful. its a long walk to get to the sight but you can drive altho there isnt a large number of parkings and in winter its better to walk because you cant get up there with a car

This was one of the most impressive waterfalls I have seen during my stay in Slovenia. The walk up is short and steep but it is absolutely worth it. You can even walk behind the waterfall so bring an umbrella or something similar. Parking right at the waterfall is 5€ for 2 hours, but you can park for free in the village ~2,5km below. The walk takes between 30 and 45 minutes.

Great waterfall with a great hike. The hike is pretty intense but luckily it is short (unless you want to visit the upper part of the waterfall. Can really recommend. Beautiful scenery aswell. Parking can be difficult

A beautiful waterfall, definitely worth a visit. We walked from Mojstrana on the left side of the river (upstream) along the marked route and it is very beautiful and easy. We were at the waterfall at seven in the evening and almost no one was there. A raincoat was not necessary, although you get a little water dripping on you, but nothing terrible. I definitely recommend a visit.

Breathtaking waterfall. It reminds me Silver Falls in Oregon. Be aware that road to the parking lot is now under reconstruction and it's closed MON-FRI from 7 to 17 (end of May 2022). During that period you have to park approx. 3 km before the falls.

Quick, albeit a bit rugged walk to get to. Parking might be an issue as there isn't a lot of it, but turnover of visitors is pretty quick. Worth noting, no cell reception around here.

Nice quick hike up to a couple of amazing waterfalls (Upper and Lower). The trail is for physically healthy people only. Very steep and dangerous places on the trail. Many slippery spots. Not for anyone with heart, lung, or cardiovascular problems. I recommend hiking boots with good tread for traction and ankle support. Absolutely gorgeous. It gets extremely crowded on weekends and holidays. I don't recommend visiting over the All Saints Day holiday weekend. Too many people destroy the atmosphere and the experience. And only a dozen places to park.
