Stow

Cafe

👍👍 The best coffee so far in Slovenia . I had a great flat white which was just the right temperature. I also had a tasty quiche to eat . The vibe of the place is nice too . I had another coffee later at the small Stow in the centre which wasn’t quite so expertly made but it was still good ! People often mention coffee, museum, nice, great, beautiful,

The best coffee place in Ljubljana. Amazing service, consistancy, knowledge, and out of this world home-made pies. Couldn't recommend more. Can be crowded at times, but it makes sense. PS: You should also check out the museum it's based in. EDIT: Also offers coffee cuppings, barista workshops, etc.

I'm not sure if it's unfortunate that this gem is easy to miss because all you see is a tiny display on the street, or if this helps keeping the place not toooo well-known. Here it's not about being seen but to enjoy top-notch coffee, cake and a wonderfully calm green garden view, despite technically being in a basement. These people know their craft. If I ever come to Ljubljana again and only have time for exactly one coffee place, it would be this one.

    1. The filter coffee was delicious, it’s a lovely place for speciality coffee lovers - just for the sake of looking at the equipment. 2. The place itself is glorious. 3. Cold brew - excellent. 4. The prices were really high, even up to 25€ per coffee!! (The online menu was not updated :(

Probably the best iced matcha latte in Ljubljana! Perfect colour and texture, not like the ones where the powder settles and gives a bitter taste.

Tucked in the back of the museum and surrounded by most precious plants is this cute coffee spot! Loved the smell of the freshly grounded coffee when I entered. I took Filter coffee and the staff was telling me all about my coffee origin, notes and flavours. It was an experience that I would repeat for sure! ☕️😻

This place is tucked away in a museum so don't give up looking for it (as we nearly did!). The staff really care about the product and it shows in the coffee which is made with care and precision. The pies looked excellent too!

Lovely café located inside a museum. The baristas were knowledge and explained the different roasts - there were some very interesting combinations with a lot of flavour! The interior is spacious and very nicely designed, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee.

A very nice specialty coffee place located in the museum basement, but with a nice view of the yard. To get to the cafe you have to enter the museum and go donwstairs. There is a lift, so it is wheelchair accessible. The coffee is good, the place is quite packed. Several cakes are offered, too. Non-dairy milk options available.

If you're into quality specialty coffee this is definitely a place to go. It's a bit hidden inside a museum so don't be shy, go in and say "I'm going to the cafe" at the counter ... and enjoy one of the best coffies Ljubljana has to offer!

We were visiting Ljubljana from the US and wanted to get some coffee while walking around the city. We luckily found Stow situated in the city museum. It is a beautiful coffee shop in a beautiful city. My wife ordered a cappuccino and i ordered a cafe miél. the barista, Felisa had not made a miél before, as they’re not that popular in Slovenia, however she found a recipe online and promised to try her best. Well, mission accomplished. the beverages were delicious and the ambience is fabulous. Stow is a great spot and Felica is helping to make it even better!

Fantastic coffee, wonderful pastry, a very pleasant decor and terrific service. Just the best. Highly, highly recommended if you want the very best coffee experience. Truly impressive. I have had cappuccino's in some of the best places in the world. This rivals them in every way. Just the best. And they have actual Geisha coffee plants in the cafe. Very cool.

Located inside the City Museum, they offer a variety of coffees and various preparation methods. Definitely worth a try if you want to try new things. Decent desserts as well. Very nice interior.

After travelling to over 50 countries and experiencing speciality coffee, this palce was a let down. Beautiful location, but prices were higher that the top coffee in Sweden (which is already expensive), and the baristas (and the manager I assume) were some if the most cold speciality coffee people I've ever met in my carrier. The V60 for 6 euros, wasn't anything special, which makes the price unrealistic.

Various bean and method selections in an affordable price. Basically the coffee café locate in the museum and no entrance free. The atmosphere is pretty hip and modern, you can sit both outdoor and indoor. My espresso shot(Columbia) was extremely good and I bought the bean home as well. Quiche and Crossiant are nice. This café also has a kiok version at the center of the city.
