I drive from castle hill to Revesby and pass Fairfield on the way to work each day. One day just drove into Fairfield just for a look around, having never been there before. Driving out saw sign best burek in australia. tried to stop as I had seen burek on YouTube cooking show never had it before. No parking close by had to go. Finally got there the other week. So glad I did. Feta burek was what I chose the lady was lovely. There were bureks that looked good in the glass display but there was a fresh one just coming out of the oven. So she gave me the fresh steaming crispy crunchy one which was so nice of her. Boy oh boy one of the nicest things that has entered my mouth. Hooked now. Can't wait for covid to go or ease up so I can go there again. 6 stars. Also jam donut was delicious.

Rita and the team were Amazing and great customer care. Been it the first time eating there however I was impressed with the ambiance and how they operate. This really show people have a passion of hospitality and been operating for a while hence still in business hands up. Keep up the good work forks and maintain the standard I recommend people within Fairfiled to pay them a visit and you will appreciated the love and passion of food at this place. They respect the food and the staff is awesome. I can say the best Burek in Fairfield indeed hands up

A long standing small bakery/restaurant known for making their cultural national dishes boreks Like the feta cheese filled borek nice when made fresh & hot, just out of the oven....as the pastry will still be crisped on the outside... If there is none left, they will bake one for you, but you need to wait about 10 min.. I had a hot out of the oven Spinach & Feta Burek, this time... So hot that you have to wait a bit to let it cool down, or you will burn your mouth.. or you can drizzle some of the sauces provided at the counter, to help it cool down.. It doesn't have much seasoning but you can season your serving with the salt & pepper or a touch of chilli flakes provided at the counter. You can dine in or take away, they have a variety of sauces to self serve & drizzle over your borek pastry. Lady serving you is nice, patient in answering your questions if you're not familiar with the menu. Also I believe there are no toilets here, you will need to use the bathroom at the train station or use the restroom in the small food arcade called β€˜the chase’ opposite the train station...

A Turkish restaurant in Fairfield. Specialists in Burek and Donuts. Meat as well as Spinach with cheese Burek is available. Allow cooking time of around 15 mins to enjoy hot Burek. Roadside parking available. A large Burek is priced at $24 and a quarter of the same costs $6.

This place has been my family's go-to for burek since I was a kid. We live very far away from Fairfield now, but still make the trip over to Tasic Hot Burek nearly every week. My fav is their cheese burek, but spinach and cheese is also very tasty!
