You can see from the other reviews that the food is excellent. But on top of that, the service is AMAZING. I ordered my sandwiches for pick up at the wrong location. The Shore Drive location was so sweet about it and remade the sandwiches for me so that I didn’t have to drive to Oceanfront. And this wasn’t a one time experience. They’re always so nice, whenever we visit!

TASTE was hopping with Live (music) on the Lawn but service was friendly and reasonably quick! Delicious sandwiches - would highly recommend the Princess Anne!

My family and I went to Taste last Friday because they have live music during summer. We had such a good time. The band was really great! And, they’re dog friendly!! I enjoyed my Hilltop sandwich too. I paid $60 for two sandwiches, two chocolate chip cookies and two bottles of water.

Sandwich and Soup Perfection!!! I used to work in Downtown Norfolk and I loved going to Taste for lunch. Now that I am back in Hampton Roads after living in New York for13 years, me and my favorite sandwich place have been reunited. Oh how I love the fresh breads and ingredients. All the fun snacks and the TASTE. Can’t beat this place. So glad to be back. Yum!

Some of the best food around! The lynnhaven is absolutely an amazing sandwich. Either come early or order ahead, wait times can get pretty crazy. Highly recommend!

The food is way over priced, but you'll know that. You'd probably sell more if it were more affordable. Aline, I spent over $22.00 and there was a place for a tip. Pay your employees better, so they don't have to depend on customers, who are already paying too much, to help them earn a decent wage.

The beach club was awesome! Had a decent wait for a sandwich, but to be fair they had a good amount of online tickets to get through. Plenty of "tasty" stuff around the place to keep you occupied while you wait for your food. I will be coming back here for sure.

Taste is a wonderful restaurant to visit if you are in the VB area! They have something for everyone on their menu. The pimento cheese is delicious a must try! A favorite place of ours to go.

TASTE has an excellent formula for sandwich making. Each sandwich has its own unique flavor profile that makes them delicious. I recommend trying “Peter’s Choice.” This option comes with chips and drink for $10.99. Every dessert is a must try. Sorry! If you’re a citrusy type, the lemon blueberry bars are worth it. The chocolate options are tasty and have a rich chocolate flavor.

Visited here for lunch while in the area. It was a great choice! The curry chicken salad wrap was flavorful. The candied walnuts and cranberries made it different and very delicious! The Virginia ham was the best we've ever had. My daughter loved her chicken Caesar wrap, too. We'll be back!

Taste Unlimited has been an icon in tidewater as far back as I can remember. when you order your always going to get the best sandwich possible the freshest breads and excellent ingredients are the standard. now with online ordering get your meal is so easy. plus there are many locations throughout the tidewater area finding on is a snap.

I had driven by and it looks so cute! Just hadn't been able to pop in until now. They have gift bags and baskets already done up. There's grab and go items, wines , drinks, snacks, etc....you can eat inside outside upstairs. There's a lot to unpack under one roof. Ordered: 📍 Turkey and Brie sandwich

My first time in could not have been better. Great food, incredibly fresh, a perfect club sandwich. Nice selection of wines, too. The chard on tap was a very easy drink. The regulars next to me were pleasant and welcoming. All in all, I will definitely be back and bring others! Thank you!

I would have given this place 5 stars but am holding out on hope that they’d serve coffee concoctions like their Norfolk location. This place has ample parking, staff to take orders, lots of outdoor picnic table seating. Inside they have refrigerated displays for to go food like soups, brownies, quiches. They have wines, cheese, etc. They have a whole length of display of different flavored chips and everything you can order at the counter:sandwiches, salads, sides.

I do miss the cozy feel of the original store but no way we'd get the same level of service if it was still a one register shack with one deli cooler! It was busy but my cashier was quick and so very sweet. I love the second floor dining option as well as the super convenient grab n go cooler for pre-made stuff! For some reason taste unlimited just seems better from this location.

Delicious salads and sandwiches, and great options for sides, drinks, desserts, etc. Decent selection of wines though I've never bothered to buy any myself. My only issue is that they always either forget the bread and/or butter with my salad, or the give the wrong bread, still no butter despite them highlighting those items in the receipt. Every. Single. Time. I've gotten better about checking my bag before I leave now.

First time visit. Sandwiches and Brunswick stew were great. Also came with drink and chips although I had a nice glass of wine. Really enjoyed browsing their selections of local foods and wine. I bought a container of" Sassy Southern Pimento Cheese" and it's delicious. Will definitely visit more often

Love eating here when there isn’t rush-hour! Lots of people eat here, so be prepared to wait (like at any other place in VB) if you go during busiest hours! They have a few toys out back outside for kids if you choose to sit outside, and a little loft area inside as well.

Taste is a convenient pit stop off the road with yummy sandwiches and a unique building that feels barn-inspired. There is a ton of outdoor seating, but It was a bit smelly outside so we ate on the second floor which gave us a good view of all the beer, wine and snacks for sale. The sandwiches were delicious ( we had the Virginian and chicken salad), thought they were a bit on the pricey side. Would highly recommend stopping in for lunch!

Delicious! I tried the Freemason on french bread. So good. No grapes or walnuts in the chicken salad which was huge plus! I will absolutely be recommending to everyone and coming back. Customer service was on point.

PSA… after frequenting an overpriced sandwich shop that overall, was worth the price, it has come to my attention that you will need a metal detector, a tetanus shot and a friend who knows the Heimlich maneuver to safely consume their food. This is absolutely unacceptable! #tasteunlimited

I discovered Taste (many, many, many years ago) and became a follower of everything they made and sell…. OMG, breads and cheeses and charcuterie’s and fruits and wine… salud!!!! We stop by and grab few things on a basket (don’t forget a blanket) and drive down to the beach and have a lovely picnic with my hubby… and that’s what I love from Taste… they love for everything’s food, delicious food.
