Thai house Smithtown!! This place is authentic the food is great and yeah service is very slow depend on the time of day. It’s just one server handling the whole dining room. Not a bar atmosphere but the Thai ice tea was good! The pad Thai is my favorite but over the years it seems to be more dry than before. The pork chop was juicy. The sticky rice desert was good but pricey. Overall a good meal and great place to enjoy some Thai cuisine in Long Island

The pad Thai tasted like spaghetti and ketchup. The shrimp fried rice tasted like bland white rice with shrimp they took from a cocktail platter. Flavorless and utterly disappointing, this was the worst tasting Thai food I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating. And not to mention how pricey it was…

I love this Thai place The food is always good and they're always friendly. The portions are great especially for lunch. I've been coming here for years and they are pretty consistent. My favorite dishes are pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, & chicken satay. The Walnut chicken is also delicious. And I love the glass noodle soup as well!

Thai house delivered a very tasty meal in a relaxed setting. The food was really good. I had the Chicken Thai wrap which was fantastic. The service is great, the drinks are fantastic. We ended with their nice fried ice cream. Everything came out really inexpensive which was great.

I have eaten here a few times since I found the place a little over a year ago. Tonight was a great experience, as always. The food is delicious, the staff is always efficient and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I tried the mango rice dessert and was skeptical about it...was Not disappointed! Will order it everything I go

Easy to see right off of Main Street servicing Smithtown and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Parking on the street is available, but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. The food is designed more for the non Asian Patrons. A very nice and friendly Staff, which is why I'm giving 4 stars 🌟. We will most likely be going back.

Four of us ate lunch today we had appetizers of shrimp and coconut and chicken satay very good Two of us had Thai noodles with duck great sauce and flavor. One ginger tilapia came with an umbrella ornament and the last dish was jumbo shrimp and garlic sauce that came with umbrella too We all got fresh coconut a real coconut from Thailand. And delishous pumpkin pudding in a real pumpkin Oh and our waitress was perfect. Our friends ate there last week. Their kids lived in Thailand for a few years and told us it was authentic Thai cooking. Enjoy

Had been on the search for a really good authentic Thai restaurant for months after having delicious Thai in Manhattan. One Friday night we decided to try this place and it did not disappoint. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, vegetable pad Thai and vegetable drunken noodle. My husband and I are both Vegan so we asked the waitress to make all dishes vegan. She was very aware of what we could not have in our dishes. Everything we had exceeded our expectations, we had never had pineapple fried rice and we are now obsessed with it. Both the pad thai and drunken noodle had exceptional flavor and we both enjoyed our dishes. Our only complaint is that the dishes were not very big. We have been back numerous times for takeout only, I must say that dining in the food did taste better, not that takeout was not good it just tasted better dining in, I have heard that thai food is better if eaten right away so maybe that's the case. Either way we are a big fan of this place.

Used to order from them like once a week and recently ordered a lunch item from their online menu. Came home and knew something was not right when I looked at my meal but was starving so dove in. The order was definitely wrong and happened to be something with orange (which I hate) but when I looked at my receipt the item number on it correct. When I called in to say my order was not right I was told, "oh I meant to mention to you that we changed all our internal item numbers but haven't had the opportunity to change the site yet, you should have confirmed the actual item you wanted not using the number". That was it, it was my fault I didn't know the website was inaccurate, no credit or at least offer for a discount next time I order. Just beware of you are ordering a lunch item from their site, it may not be what you get.

The best service and authentic Thai food. Crispy spring rolls and delicious dumplings. Will definitely come again and recommend to everyone.

Very average food, not bad but unfortunately not very flavorful. The vegetables and tofu were really fresh but could have used more sauce. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Don’t try the Thai iced coffee, tastes very burnt and not like most Thai iced coffees. Spring rolls are amazing though.

Came here for the first time to try a new location for Thai cuisine. I must say I’m disappointed. For $90 worth plus tip of food did not receive all of the right items that my boyfriend and I ordered. The crab rolls were burnt, we ordered coconut rice received jasmine rice, ordered fish received chicken and the food was bland in taste. Won’t return here .

Quintessential “I don’t write reviews” starter but I truly do not. Posting publicly so I don’t want my name out there. Anyway I used to go here quite often. The food was always good and the portion sizes always normal to generous. However this time recently when I went the food had definitely taken a turn for the worst. My papaya salad I kid you not smelled like a cheesy foot. I had to throw it away. I’ve eaten many papaya salads in my time and have never been hit with a smell like that. Drunken noodles weren’t spicy, and the portion size was very small. The green curry had a decent flavor but was very watery. I got it with shrimp which were the side of a quarter if not smaller and only had 5 pieces at most in the pt container with little to no vegetables. I could tell the rice was old as well. I wouldn’t go back, and it was truly a waste of money. super sad to see how bad this place has gotten because I used to eat here twice a month in it’s hayday. Also, as a side note, when I watched food come out of the kitchen the plates are being garnished with little umbrellas you get in drinks. Not a good sign, ever. As someone who has been in BOH food industry for over 5 years I can say inedible garnishes have stopped for over 30 years now. That’s my rant. Don’t eat here. I’m convinced these guys put their foot in my food

Extraordinary! I highly recommend the Thai House to anyone in the Smithtown, NY area. The food is very authentic as the chef is native to Thailand, the service is phenomenal- everyone is treated as if they are the only guest at the restaurant. The location is very convenient, right on Main Street. The Thai House offers a great lunch menu with very good prices- their dinner menu is excellent as well. The food is rather diverse and caters to many different palates. The restaurant itself is very clean and well decorated. I highly recommend their dessert menu! When we went, the waitress took her time to explain the menu, the food and learned about us so she could provide a recommendation. If you are looking for an authentic Thai restaurant with awesome staff- this is the place for you!

We ate at this restaurant before and its was good. Today we came back to try it. What a disappointment. Pad Thai was like soup The shrimp fried rice was wet and over cooked shrimp. The Basil duck was good but the sauce was watered down. I hope they improve on this.

Ate here a few times in the past and it was decent. Ordered today for some coworkers to celebrate a birthday and it was the most disgusting ... non thai food on earth. My pad see ew, which is supposed to come with broad noodles and egg consisted entirely of onions, broccoli and green beans in a water sauce with a side of white rice. What on Earth happened???

My go-to Thai place on long island! You can get a full dinner for like $15 and it's outstanding. Started coming here in 2015 and I haven't stopped coming back. My favorite dish is probably the drunken noodles but their soups are fantastic and I regularly pick up their spring rolls. I've brought all of my friends and fily here, it's worth it.

This was my first ever Thai experience. My boyfriend and I stopped in today to grab some lunch. The waitress was so incredibly sweet and suggested we try the Thai tea which was so yummy especially with boba. We got the spring rolls as our appetizer and they were on point. Our entrees were the Siam Noodles and the Thai House Cashew Chicken which were amazing as well. We will definitely be back and urge others to try out this place!! Thank you Thai House!

I visit this restaurant for the first time, because I wanted to travel to Thailand in my mind by eating pure authentic Thai Food. Indeed I am more than than happy to visit this place. Because the service is impacablely standard to 5 star's restaurant. Actually the chef is walking around to make sure that everything is okay and every guest have the best experience of their life by dining at this place. The place is exotically decor to make everyone feel relax and comfortable with some traditional Thai music 🎵 playing softly on the background... I really enjoy my experience The Thai House..Definitely I must comeback to taste more dishes and more recipes. I had today Siam Fried Rice with jumbo shims plus pineapple rice with peanuts, raisins inside the rice .. The price is extremely affordable.. Guys you should visit this place... I definitely highly recommend this amazing restaurant locate on the heart of Smithtown... P.S: there is parking at back yard of the restaurant but you drive slowly to find the entrance. You know this is a suburban area things looks as small town style... Which I really like ..💕👍🍜

Tastes like a white person from the Midwest cooked the food. Worst Thai food I've ever had. No flavor at all, I've made better Thai food at home. The people giving 5 star reviews are trippin.

Tried it for the first time. Had a very good meal. The lemongrass soup was very flavorful. Chicken with Peanut sauce was a little on the salty side but very flavorful. Veggies were not the best, and they only put a small amount. Drink price is lower then most places.

Clean place. Attentive wait staff. Green curry was good but the Pad Thai was soupy and tasteless.
