Same variation of colors as Big witch overlook. Either of the overlooks is fine to see a burnt orange color.

It did not have the clearest view of all of the overlooks. But it was still a great View and there were a couple of little Trails off the edges that you could have followed down into the valley.

One of the beautiful overlooks along BlueRidge Parkway between Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Asheville, NC. More exciting in the fall when you can enjoy the changing colors.

No floating orbs of spirit light but plenty of skinwalkers! Beware! one may follow you home!

Everytime I come here to see the lights they show up! Sometimes there will be someone parked already but they’ll usually take off if you pull up and park lol. The lights will sometimes just be flickers from the distant mountains, but I have seen one appear in the sky and shoot straight down like a rocket…and another one appeared pretty close in front of this overlook and slowly drifted to the right before disappearing. If you don’t see them, just be patient. They will show up. It has nothing to do with the weather.
