I've been going here for 10+ years and when the original owner passed away I knew things were going to change. We'll, they sold it and it's under new ownership and prices have gone up 80%! So much so I won't be eating here as often which is sad. $20 large subs and $12 smalls.... Holy smokes 😳 Quality of food has also gone down as they must have changed vendors. I'll really miss how they used to make the sandwiches and it'll never be the same. Sad day.

New management really turned this place on it's head. The food is now only so-so for how much they charge for it. A lot of the time the food just lacks the flavor and richness that it used to have. I'd almost prefer to pay more for the original sandwiches this place used to sell. Thankfully, much of the staff hasn't changed and they are absolutely great people!

I knew when I walked in there it wasn't the same place anymore. Looks like an Asian family bought the place. They are nice people good service. But the prices for a regular sandwich is 15$ honestly it's a sandwich that should be maybe$7.. outside was warm the inside of the sandwich was cold barely any meat. Looks like prices went up quality went down.

I use to Love this place. The sandwich still taste amazing, but just cant justify spending this much on a sandwich with such little meat. The bread to meat ratio on a Cold cut sandwich is so off. The Pot roast and butterball turkey are the only ones that seem to have a more reasonable amount of meat.

Pretty thin on the meat, cheese wasn’t melted. Still tastes great though. $35 for two sandwiches and tip.

Stopped in for the first time in a long while. New ownership and the change is not for the better unfortunately. The food quality has gone down hill, sandwiches were sloppily made, portions seemed smaller and the prices went up. The kicker of it all was the bad attitude of the young male employee making the sandwiches. He argued with a customer and the owner as well as looked for validation from others still in the store. We loved this place but it is sad to say we won't be back...

I’ve been going to Red Rock Subs for years! I loved the sandwiches with amazing fresh bread and fun touches like garlic mayo. The hubs just brought me a sandwich today which is completely unrecognizable. There is no trace of the usual quality ingredients in the California Club and it tastes like a sandwich from the deli of a grocery store. There are no sprouts, no avocado, no Dijon but instead bacon bits, pickle, and yellow mustard. It appears there has been a change in ownership and I’m heartbroken. We won’t be returning.

Be prepared to pay over $40 on two small sandwiches for lunch. The food is good, but definitely expensive. With the tip included we spent $46 total FYI

I've been wanting to stop by here for years. The quality is 5 stars for sure. Staff were great. But the prices were pretty high. Not sure I'd come back due to the location and prices. I loved the outdoor seating area. That was a great idea and loved the the plex glass giving you views of the outside but protection from the wind and any homeless shenanigans. It was around $20 for 2 small sandwiches.

This used to be on of the best sandwich shops around. All of the sudden the food here is different. And not in a good way. The prices have almost doubled. At the same time the quality if the food and the quantity of food have also diminished. I always get the kettle roasted turkey, but the one ate today was bad. Half as much meat as they used to give and the meat was dry and overcooked. The bread isn't as good and the pice was way more for a smaller sandwich. The employees there are also extremely rund and standoffish. I definitely will be telling people not to go there.

A review in three parts: The service is as good as they are willing to give. Treat online orders like a pharmacy, yeah they said it would be ready in 30 minutes but really they don’t start working on it until you get there. You will get horrendously sick 1/3 times you eat these sandwiches. It is brutal, and distasteful. It will nearly ruin you for bread+filling meal options ever again… …but they are so amazing that nothing else matters. Seriously the best sandwiches. Ever. It is worth every inconvenience to experience. Have never had a better one. The prices are reasonable and they have SPROUTS (*Advertized, sometimes, usually, they do their best.) I would give them five stars but the raging, regular stomach sickness and lackluster service DO warrant mentioning.

I'm gonna guess this place is under new ownership post covid. 2nd time ordering since and again nothing was right in either of my sandwiches. The bread is very dence and store bought. Everything we use to love about this place has completely changed. Will not be back again. I paid 22$ for a sandwich worse then a gas stations deli rack.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat after visiting a dying relative at the local hospital, on what was one of the worst days of my life. I was greeted with a smile and “hello”; something so simple but I really needed to hear. Thank you for a great, fulfilling meal on a day when I thought I didn’t have any more strength. Great food and positive vibes. Will be back again if I’m ever in Everett.

Sandwiches are all fantastic. The bread is the best. Not really "dine-in" friendly. A few tables but not very inviting. I have been going here for many years. Not sure if they changed ownership, but the previous team from a couple of years back was much friendlier. But the food is to die for! Don't miss it.

Fresh, delicious sub. Sourdough sub bread was soft and easy to chew. First time ordering here, they don't have the Tuna Salad Sub on the menu, but apparently if you ask, they can make it-as long as they have some Tuna Salad made that day. It was fresh and worth the price. It was tough ordering though since I've never been in and didn't know how their menu works. So had to ask for each thing, do you have tuna salad? What comes on it? Their reply: "what do you want on it?" Me: well I don't know what you have, do you have pickles, jalapenos or hot peppers? Ordering should be easier and making the subs isn't as fast as going to other sub shops, so be prepared to wait about 15minutes. When I'm at Everett Station again and have time to walk down, I'll definitely order the Tuna Salad Sub again. I don't eat meats, so the only other option is the Veggie Sub. And they highly recommend the blondie (brownie), I'm sorry to say I didn't like it. But they said all their baked goods are made in house daily.

Oh my word! This sub shop never disappoints... except for when they are out of sprouts for the Cali Club. Is it that y'all have run out sprouts or just not getting any more these days because of their potential to breed bacteria? Either way, I miss them and the Cali Club is just not the same without them. But the sandwich is still the bomb...probably because of your garlic mayo- AWESOME!

I was up north visiting a coworker and stopped in for a sub. I got the Reuben and holy **** was it ever delicious. All ingredients were good, meat was tender, but the roll was fantastic. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I'll be back!!!

When I first arrived in Everett in January, I was incredibly impressed to come across Red Rock Subs and visited there nearly daily for several weeks. Service and ingredient availability was fairly hit and miss, but for the most part, it was worth it because the sandwiches were consistently very good. Fast forward to now and I no longer visit here often and no longer recommend Red Rock to anyone else. The service was never great, but it has still managed to decline in recent months and wait times are often excessive, even when ordering ahead online. Beyond that, employees are not well trained on food safety and will regularly handle food after touching other things, like money and the phone, without washing their hands. As a Servsafe Manager, the stuff I see go on behind the counter here makes me cringe. Furthermore, the size of the sandwiches has decreased, but prices have gone way, way up! No longer is this place the hidden gem I once thought it was.

I learned about Red Rock from a company i work for. We provide lunch for our new employees during our orientation. I personally order from here a few times a month and for my company we order 3 -4 times a month. We come ALOT. I have never ever had bad service but we have had some hiccups but they are so nice and so willing to always help or make it right. These are the best sandwiches and salads that are always fresh and so tasty. I couldn't imagine ordering for 8-10 people multiple times a month from anywhere else. Thanks Red Rock for being here and being so amazing and always having a smile when i come in no matter how busy you are.

Out of this world good. Bread is fresh and perfectly toasted. Ingredients perfectly complimented each other. The off menu “Mad Matt” sandwich is masterclass. Run don’t walk to this sweet local joint.

I hadn't been here in a while and I understand prices are going up everywhere and if it's good quality I don't mind paying more, but the quality of the sandwich was not what it used to be and definitely not worth the money. The bread was dry and only one slice of ham on a $12.00 sub. Subway is better than this place now. So disappointed! I once gave this place 5 stars when it was consistently good.

Ate here for the first time today and it was fantastic! I had the hot pastrami which was divine. My friend had the Philly Cheesesteak and it was incredible! Yes, the prices are a bit high (spent $30 on 2 reg subs & 2 drinks) but it was worth every penny! Will 100% come back very soon!

I've been going here for 8+ years. After today's order I will likely never order again. They must of changed vendors. The sourdough tasted like dried out super dense whit bread. Sandwich was made wrong. I covered a Sicilian with hot sauce to make it edible.....hot garbage

Love this place! we always order for our office. However Today my sandwich was not right. I selected French and received SourDough. Did not know they had alfalfa since website says out of stock. I did not indicate No sprouts…. I had to remove them … will order again but it will be awhile.

I should say I've been here many times over the last few years. Everything always has been tasty and good quality. Last visit in June '22 was just so so. Order took a really long time and the sandwich was mostly bread. I'm not ready to write them off just yet. Update: went again a month after this review and I'm sad to say that it's just not as good as it used to be. Much less meat on the sandwiches these days but higher costs. I don't begrudge prices going up but the sandwiches ought to stay the same. The employees are still friendly and cool but I'm not sure this place is on my list anymore.

Staff was super friendly and helpful when I asked about the menu. Large portions, decent price. They have a little outdoor area you can eat when it’s nice out. I’d go back! Be careful not to drive by it though, and the parking lot is a little difficult to get back out of.
